Fantastic experience: I had a hard time finding the perfect place to get the flowers I wanted and I found them at Holland Nurseries. Very prompt delivery and the flowers are exactly what I wanted. Very well presented and the cuddly toys were a huge bonus. Extremely satisfied with the bouquet and the toys. Will definitely be coming back for more. I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: After having some challenges with online ordering, I called the shop. The customer service person was very helpful and fast. She made ordering very easy. The Christmas center piece was delivered the same day. I was emailed a receipt when I placed the order and a confirmation of delivery. I found this quite exceptional. Would recommend this Florist any time!

Fantastic experience: We have always used Holland Nurseries for any flowers ,either in NL when we lived there or now from NS. They are great people and great florists. Loved walking through the hot houses to pick out flowers for our little garden and to get flowers for any occasion. Love this place.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with this business, I will never use them again. Item ordered from their website was not what was delivered, I ordered an upgrade in the bouquet, paid $125 and what they sent was not worth what was paid. I would suggest that any person looking for flower delivery from here, take your business elsewhere. This is not a $125 bouquet, nothing but a money grab and false advertising

I'd ordered with a request as well to which they attended. Holland Nurseries provides excellent quality and excellent service and I'll be happy to order from them in the future.

Fantastic experience: It’s Mothers Day 2025, and because someone used MY credit card fraudulently, I was waiting for the new card to arrive. So I had to buy a Visa Gift Card to buy mom’s flowers. I called Holland Nursery, as I do every year and ordered moms flowers( from Halifax) but I was short $1.25!! The lady put me on hold and came back saying, it’s no problem, don’t worry about the rest!…makes me forever grateful, I’m from Newfoundland!! Fantastic experience: I was a bit concerned sending a plant since I live in Ontario and the recipient in St John's, but I couldn't have been more pleased. The person who took my order was knowledgeable and helpful, the order was filled quickly and exactly as I requested. I was completely pleased with everything.

Positive experience: Edit* I received a call from the store Nov 2024 explaining they unfortunately didn’t receive my custom order request. I understand that these things happen so I have updated my review to 4 stars. I recommend you place your order over the phone instead of online to ensure your order is correct :). I placed a custom order for white roses or white flowers with hydrangeas (the recipients favourite flower). Something small and simple with blue/purple and white colours. I called the store before I placed the order to ensure they had hydrangeas available, they confirmed. The flowers delivered were bright yellow and pink with no hydrangeas. Thankfully the recipient liked them, but they were unfortunately not what I asked for. I wish the store would have called me to discuss as the colours requested and hydrangeas had a significant meaning. It was quite disappointing as I paid $100 with taxes and delivery.

Positive experience: Disappointing to see how little was left in the greenhouses at the end of June, and the plants all in quite a poor state. When I enquired about whether the items were on sale I was told a curt "no". Plants completely pot bound. Should have checked before I paid full price.

Negative experience: Orchid infested with mealybugs within a couple of weeks of purchase. When called was told to buy a product to get rid of the bugs. Disappointed in my experience. Expected a quality plant from a nursery with the premium price tag better to purchase elsewhere.

I called to ask to have it moved and not only were they happy to move the delivery up a day, the flowers were delivered within a few hours! AND they were beautiful!! My friend loved them!! Negative experience: very disappointed in the arrangement that was delivered to my Niece . After seeing the picture of the flowers that she received I was in disbelief and was embarrassed to what was delivered to her . The arrangement looked as if it was days old , one of the petals was falling of and had to be removed , and within 3 days , 3 of the flowers had to be pulled out . I did contact the flower store but they took no responsibility to my concerns and did not respond to my email I sent . I live in Vancouver and have used Holland Nurseries many times and was always very happy with their work . .. I will not be using this store again. !
