Fantastic experience: I ordered Mother’s Day flowers online for my mum from dooleys. She was soo happy with them when they arrived they were the most beautiful bouquet we had ever seen! The flowers were so fresh and beautiful colours! I would like to thank you Dooleys so much my mum was soo happy with them! Highly recommend to anyone ordering flowers!

Fantastic experience: Met a lovely lady that helped us out with a dad wreath and a wreath for my mums grave too thank you so much. Also got duck eggs which was a major plus

Negative experience: Beyond disappointing. Ordered wreath Monday morning for delivery to wake that evening. Never delivered. Not delivered in time for funeral on Tuesday. Not delivered on Wednesday when grave visited. Turned up at end of week. Heartbreaking

Fantastic experience: I started ordering directly through Dooley’s rather than using Interflora, and I’m so glad I do. The bouquets are consistently stunning; beautifully arranged, full, and much bigger than expected. Delivery is very reliable, and the flowers arrive looking fresh and vibrant every time. You can really see the care and quality that goes into each arrangement.

Negative experience: We ordered the flowers for Valentine’s Day and mentioned it for white roses only but received just a few white roses, when we call the shop and ask them about the issue they said the note they wrote down is said to “include white roses” and said what we received was the same price as we paid for and delivery cost €15 extra as well. We are really disappointed, we have ordered stuff online and don’t care about delivery cost if we receive what we asked for but it doesn’t make sense for this case. Valentine’s Day asking for only roses is not hard to understand.’

Fantastic experience: Went to Dooley's today to buy a bouquet of flowers for someone. Beautiful selection of flowers. I picked up some very fresh vegetables, as well as some sauces. They have a variety of foods available, many are vegan friendly. The service provided by Kevin was outstanding. He went back to get me a better pepper than the one I had picked, I hadn't even noticed there was anything wrong with it. I was going to just walk to my friend's house with the flowers, but he insisted that I wait to see if Anthony could deliver them, which he did and I even got a lift on the way! Outstanding service and wonderful shop. Thank you. I will be sure to do my fruit and veg shop here regularly.

Fantastic experience: Phoned up Dooleys to get flowers delivered to the Sheraton hotel in athlone for our wedding anniversary, and they were so nicely arranged and smelled really really fresh. Cannot thank Dooleys enough. My wife was delighted with them.

Negative experience: Terrible staff (Golden Island shop). For 2 consecutive weeks I had a very bad experience and felt slightly humiliated by the staff. Today I asked if a specific flower was artificial and the lady just responded yes in a very dry way and completely ignored me, not offering any additional help. Seconds after she addressed 2 white ladies in the most warm and welcoming fashion. The prior week I asked about bespoke flower arrangements and again another lady was extremely short and rude not interested in attracting more sales. Thank God I found a place with decent people where I will gladly pay for good quality. Do better ladies!

Fantastic experience: Dooley's is a success story in Athlone: a family business providing a friendly service selling fresh produce and plants. I recently won a voucher from Dooley's with Athlone Tidy Towns and I got some plants for my garden. I received a lot of advice on how to care for the plants and I also did my food shopping while I was there. Great value for their Corrib fresh eggs.

What a gem of a find, so much more than just a florist, beautiful flowers both fresh & plants. Lots of organic food produce & gorgeous little presents to go along with a bunch of flowers. Staff are so friendly & chatty. Definitely recommend this little spot, just gorgeous
