Walked in and was greeted by not “Good Morning, how may I help you” but “Did you order online because we don’t sell directly from shop” with a cold fake smile. I said “no I did not order online, I am looking for a plant of some sort”. She said you may want to try Harris Teeter. I then said, I typically go to florist shops to purchase a plant for an employee who’s had a death in their family and that’s what I came in for”. She then said ohhh well we have these 2 plants here for purchase. (I thought nothing was available) My response, I’ll go to a different florist. Sad because my time was limited and had she been more pleasant I would have purchased what was displayed. Customer Service goes a long way Ma’am. -Kelly

The florist was not far off the highway in Charlotte as we drove to our son's wedding venue! Rebekah was amazingly accommodating and helpful when selecting the perfect flowers for the “night before” dinner. When we picked the flowers up, the entire staff lovingly seat belted some of the flowers into my front passenger seat so that they would be safe for the last 2 1/2 hours of the drive! Thank you to the entire staff - the flowers traveled to the mountains, Into our air b n b, over to the wedding venue and all the way back home, a several hours drive! I enjoyed those beauties for close to two more weeks after the wedding! So, thank you to the team at Nightingale! Bravo!

I chose the tall arrangement. The delivery was same day and early which was great as my lady on came to her office to receive a package I told her I shipped to her office by mistake. SHE LOVES THE ARRANGEMENT. Just flabbergasted and surprised. And completely loves the colours and smell. I explained to Susan the palette I wanted and to include roses 1-3. Negative experience: Was initially impressed when Mary Ann sent me an email immediately after I submitted the wedding intake form on the website stating she would be in touch with me soon. After 48 hours of waiting, I called today to see if she was available to speak with and the lady at the front desk (Susan) told me she had just come in and would call me back in 10 minutes. I put much lunch hour on hold to keep myself available for Mary Ann’s return phone call and, after waiting for over an hour, called back. I was informed that Mary Ann had been setting up for an event and would call me back soon. I went ahead and stepped away for my lunch before having to jump back into corporate meetings within the hour. Mary Ann finally returned my call while I was in line grabbing my late lunch. A quick VM to tell me my date was booked up and unavailable A lot of time wasted when the initial email could have stated simply “We regret that your date is unavailable.” Recommend coaching on clear, timely communication with potential customers and setting clear expectations (i.e., don’t over-promise and under deliver on turnaround times for getting back to clients. We also have priorities we’re juggling.) Overall poor customer experience. Will not get my business in the future.

Fantastic experience: I just received my fifth arrangement from Nightingale Floral. It came exactly as I requested filled with lush, fresh stems. I continue to be thrilled with their service, creativity and attention to detail. I ordered an all white arrangement, which arrived 2/12, and on 2/20 it is still beautiful! Considering the high demand for flowers for Valentine's Day, I am even more impressed with the attention to detail, count and quality of the stems. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have gotten flowers from here 4 times and they are exceptional. Bouquets when my parents passed and recently when a dog passed I loved so much. They go the extra mile. When an animal passes they give $10 to Humane Society of Charlotte. Amazing!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about the florals for my youngest daughter’s wedding at VanLandingham Estate on March 28. Rebekah and her designers are incredibly talented and work so hard to make sure every detail is what the bride and groom envisioned. It was flawless, and we received so many compliments on all of the flowers. She also did a beautiful nosegay and boutonnière for the courthouse ceremony the day before the wedding and reception, and my son-in-law has ordered from them independent of the wedding, and it was another gorgeous arrangement. I absolutely recommend Nightingale Floral Company.

When we returned home, we began looking at florists for our wedding celebration party. I sent an email to Nightingale Floral Company and included a photo of my bouquet. Mary Ann with Nightingale reached out to me and, as luck would have it, told me they had all of the beautiful flowers and plants that were in my bouquet. Before we married, my husband purchased beautiful flower arrangements for me from Nightingale on special occasions. I had always loved them and the attention to detail given in each arrangement and the embellishments to the note cards. After learning they are a local, family owned floral company and communicating with Mary Ann, I knew this was the florist for our wedding celebration. Mary Ann created the most beautiful arrangements for us and now I have the beautiful flowers like those in my bouquet preserved. We love Nightingale and are forever loyal customers! Negative experience: I was incredibly disappointed with Nightingale Floral Company after I was not delivered what I was promised for my April wedding. I then learned that the designer I met with had left the company. The ownership I expressed my displeasure to showed no empathy or remorse, even after I shared that the ceremony florals provided were not secured and fell on me during the ceremony! Their quality is quite different since the team I met with in my planning process vs the Spring of 2024 so use caution when selecting florals for a momentous event such as a wedding or funeral. This current team does not meet service standards expected. I could not have walked down the aisle with what Nightingale provided as I could have put something together at Trader Joes that was better quality. The bridesmaids bouquets were unbloomed lilies without the pollen stems removed and messy ribbon, not at all what was agreed upon with the designer. And the bridal bouquet was the complete opposite of the full, cascading and structured bouquet that was designed. Thank goodness for the Blossom Shop in Charlotte as they created replacement bouquets in less than an hour! Save yourself the time and start there!

Fantastic experience: Nightingale provided the flowers for our wedding and were fantastic! Everything turned out exactly like what we had envisioned, which is not an easy task. I thought the pricing was very reasonable as well, although it's the only wedding I've planned so I don't have another reference point to compare to, however, they did come in under what we initially budgeted. They also were nice enough to tell us that we could get cheaper rose petals online than through them, so I really felt like they had our best interest in mind.

Fantastic experience: I gave Nightingale a call (after having the worst experience with 1800 Flowers) in hopes to help cheer up one my friends who just lost her cat of 16 years. Julie helped me over the phone and had the most beautiful flowers delivered to our office along with a bonus bloom due to it being a loss of a pet AND with a special note saying they donated $10 to the Humane Society of Charlotte in memory of Smokie. Negative experience: We have used Kelilabee Florist for years and always received 5 star product. Now Nightgale Floral Company has taken over and the product is not the same. The floral delivery was late and the roses were already wilting in the arrangement and died within days of arrival. Even the winter greenery looked expired within days. We are now on a hunt for a new florist in Ballantyne. Disappointed. After my review the Nightingale Floral Company sent another arrangement and it is been 6 days now and the arrangement is still looking beautiful. The roses, winter greenery etc are still looking amazing. Thank you for restoring my confidence in your company.
