Experiencia negativa: I ordered flowers for my fiance while out of town for Valentine's day. She got a text from a delivery driver but they never ended up coming to deliver the flowers. I emailed the next week trying to find a solution or perhaps a late delivery with no response at all.

I called Christopher and described what I needed and he didn’t hesitate to make it happen. I was able to email him the message and he hand wrote the note in full to be included with the flowers. When my friend received the flowers she said it was the most beautiful arrangement she’s ever seen.

Experiencia fantástica: I was looking for a florist in Richmond (I was in NY), and Christopher Flowers website stood out from the others. When the person on the other end answered the phone, I knew I called the right place. Christopher was an absolute delight. He was so kind and accommodating as I gave him my instructions of what I wanted for a close family funeral. We had phone issues cutting out because of the storm, but we kept calling each other back for half an hour before the phones started working again. I feel I made a friend during this process. I had to call back a week later because the funeral services had been postponed twice because of the weather, and every time I called Christopher to tell him, he couldn't have been sweeter. He sent a photo before they went out, and the arrangement was beautiful! The family said they were the only ones they kept to take home. I would HIGHLY recommend Christopher. He was a pleasure to work with, and I was thrilled with his work.

It was a bit more of a casual/less formal wedding-vendor/client relationship, but you can tell that he is really a great florist and cares about delivering something you’ll love. We got a ton of flowers/decor for a VERY good cost. He was always available to hop on a call with me and invited me and my family to the warehouse to view floral samples. We loved interacting with him and coming up with the vision for the wedding!

Experiencia negativa: This man is a fraudster. I ordered a birthday bouquet for my mother's birthday. On the day of pick up there was Noone there. I waited for hours. People walking by asked if I worked there because whomever was working left flowers unattended in buckets. I reached out through every line of communication available to me but this charlatan keeps his voicemail full, emails ignored, and messages unread. He did reach out the next business day with his story of supply chain issues and offered to deliver a different (aka not at all what was ordered) bouquet to my mother the next day. That didn't happen. It took another day of playing phone tag for my mother to receive anything at all. A pretty fall bouquet that my mother liked but left my sister and I completely underwhelmed and a note promising more flowers in the coming weeks. It has been a month since that exchange and she has received nothing. I never received a refund but honestly the worst was the time wasted. It was my mother's birthday and instead of spending time with her I was waiting for a florist who never cared to begin with. This whole experience has left a sour taste and a distrust of using small businesses. If I had known then I would have used a big corporate company because while I know the product would have been substandard at least it would have existed in the first place.

Experiencia negativa: I have similar frustrations to all of the other recent reviews posted here - I ordered flowers about two weeks ago for my anniversary. The order was placed a day ahead of time for pickup. Day-of I called to ensure the order was ready, but nobody picked up nor called back; although, I didn't think much of it since I had a confirmation email. When I got to the stand nobody was there. I tried calling to see what was going on and again nobody answers. Their voicemail stated they were having supply chain issues which is understandable but why was I never contacted about my order? This then started two weeks of leaving emails and voicemails nearly every day. Only two times was I contacted by Chris. The first time he told me he would upgrade the bouquet and switch to delivery at no additional charge which would have been appreciated but it never happened. About a week later he then called me again to say he would just issue a refund which also never happened. Unfortunately, I've had to report the purchase via my credit card co. since Chris still has not provided a refund. I understand they experienced some supply chain issues; however, the severe lack of communication throughout each step of this process was beyond frustrating and I cannot see myself ordering with Chris again.

Apparently there was a flower shipment issue and they got overwhelmed, but now have gone unresponsive. Trying to get a refund, but so far no luck. Why take the risk, there are other good flower options in Richmond.

The event started at 11 am, and they did not come with the floral arrangements until after the event already started after multiple communications where he was unresponsive ahead of time. Prepaid and would not respond to my request for a refund although we were not able to use the arrangements we paid for.

Communication has been ignored and we’ve had to repeatedly follow up with no resolution. If you are considering working with them, be prepared for significant delays or non-payment. For invoices open since 2024 $871.49 due and no attention to any of the emails.

Experiencia negativa: Ordered flowers (on September 22) to be delivered with a balloon on September 25. They did not deliver the flowers until the evening of September 26. They also did not include the balloon. They did not answer their phone or email, even after I chose the option to send the urgent text. Their voicemail is full. On September 25, when it was clear that they were not going to deliver the flowers (minutes from their closing time), I decided to place an order with Pat's Florist instead. Pat's Florist was $30 cheaper, the flowers were objectively in better condition and better arranged (I paid for the "designer's choice" from Christopher Flowers....), AND it arrived well before the original order from Christopher Flowers. Also, the form that requests feedback conveniently did not let me submit the negative feedback I provided. Additionally, I was actually able to speak to the florist at Pat's Florist. So, long story short, Christopher Flowers is a scam and Pat's Florist is the way to go. I should have sorted by negative reviews, but I thought 4.7 stars with 1000+ reviews meant they would be decent. Makes me wonder if they've had a change in ownership/management or something. Christopher Flowers: $80 for Designer's Choice, $7.20 for a Mylar Balloon (that was not delivered), $20 Delivery Fee (which was a day late), $6.43 tax, $8.72 tip (I would not have tipped this service). $122.35 total for a late and incomplete delivery, with no communication. Pat's Florist: $69.99 arrangement, $15 delivery fee, $5.10 taxes. $90.09 total (there wasn't an option to add a tip unfortunately). Gorgeous, good condition flowers, communication with florist, on-time delivery. Need I say more?

Experiencia negativa: Order never delivered – refund not honored On August 14, 2025, I placed a flower order for $110.49. The flowers were never delivered. I contacted the owner by phone on August 19, and he promised I would see a refund by Friday, August 22. As of Thursday, August 21, the refund has still not been issued, and my follow-up emails have been ignored. I have since had to dispute the charge through my bank. Very disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this florist.

They will also make up some bogus lie about why your order wasn’t delivered and never refund your money.

I placed the order a week ahead of time, and when the order did not arrive on time, I called and emailed the florist. I have yet to receive a response of any kind. I’ve dealt with florists before that might have questions about an order, or experience unexpected delays. That would be understandable, but I received zero communication from Christopher Flowers regarding this order (which was a very simple designer’s choice arrangement). They took my online order, charged my credit card - including tip - and then delivered the order late. I am actually looking at the original email confirmation vs the delivery confirmation, and - no joke - they changed the delivery date in the Order Details. And did not inform me. Follow-up: The owner contacted me and sincerely apologized, and offered a discount on the order.

Experiencia negativa: I would not use this florist again. I’m not from this area so I did a maps search on florists and found this one and two others. With hindsight being 20/20 I should’ve gone with any of the other two choices. I ordered flowers for same day delivery and was assured the delivery could be made with the flowers I asked for. Well, that day passed with no flower delivery. Getting in contact with someone there is rare. I called several times and emailed and finally got in contact with someone that said the delivery would arrive the next day by 11:00 am. I called again the next morning to verify delivery and I was told the flowers were in the delivery vehicle and should arrive in 30min or so…. 11:00 came and went , along with 12:00 1:00 2:00 and 3:00, all without one phone call from the business to let me know plans had changed. I called five times that day. Finally, we had to leave for a dinner reservation. I was prepared to contact my credit card company to reverse the charge and I should still do this because what happened next would not be considered delivery of a quality products or service. We arrived home later that night and the flowers were on the porch. No phone call or text to say they were delivered…NADA…Upon closer examination, the cute lil brown bear that I ordered as an extra in addition to to the flowers somehow transformed into a blue hippopotamus. Again with no words from the florist that this had changed. The bear has significance, the hippopotamus not so much. As I looked at the flowers, I noticed the lower leaves on the sunflowers had holes in the like they had been eaten by bugs, and it was every single sunflower. Any florist would know to trim these off, especially if they had been destroyed by bugs. The roses were wilted, and I mean even more than the rest of the arrangement because Lord knows how long they sat outside in the sun. At this point, I was beyond upset. If you can’t do a thing don’t advertise they you can and should problems arise keep your customers informed. Flowers are a very special thing signaling celebration, remorse, joy and pain. When you don’t make a flower delivery at the right time with a quality product it totally neutralizes a beautiful thought before it has an opportunity to inspire. USE ANY OTHER FLORIST BUT THIS ONE ❌

When searching for flower deliveries to Children’s Hospital at VCU, they came across Christopher Flowers which promised same day delivery. The made a purchase to be delivered on a Tuesday, but that did not happen. I received a call Thursday night, after we had been discharged that the delivery person was at the hospital. He told me he would have the office send the delivery to our home the next. My aunt emailed Christopher Flowers expressing her disappointment and they responded with an apology, offered a credit for a future purchase and promised the delivery would go out that Friday. Well guess what? No delivery. We called a few times and no one answered so I decided to go to their store. Well there is no store. It’s a kiosk on Cary St. and it looked abandoned. Really glad many people have had a good experience with them but we had the worst.

Everything went off beautifully, but we had some communication gaps among ourselves which caused me to call the office several times to get confirmation. It was impressive that they could provide details right down to that the flowers were walked into the house and placed on a table (because of the weight). Eventually, the two love birds got their communication act together--she loved the flowers. The lily was the size of a dinner plate! This arrangement was worth every penny of the $200+ we paid. They didn’t call nor reach out until I inquired the following day. They then sent a email and blamed the weather. Weather was clear that day. You still could have called. February 18th now…. Now they will NOT refund my money. Beware! scamming thieves

Christopher was very nice and responsive and promised a lot of things over the phone until he collected my payment and once payment was made he failed to deliver on his promises and respond any further. What he offers on the phone is a delivery time window and also says he will send a picture once the flowers are done before the delivery to make sure everything looks right. Unfortunately, I emailed him several times in the morning on the delivery date to double check that everything was going according to plan. He ghosted me on all 3 emails, never sent an image of the final product and then over an hour and a half later from the promised delivery window, the flowers were delivered and all I received was a templated "delivered" email. He misspelled the name of the business he was dropping the flowers off to which looks tacky and unprofessional. He delivered them late and to top things off, when sending a 4th email to him with these concerns after the fact, he STILL has failed to respond at all. Very disappointed in the level of service I received and would not be reordering from him, referring family and friends, and certainly would advise those seeking local flower shops in the Richmond area to consider alternatives.

The initial appointment was such a breeze and Christopher created bouquets live during the appointment and was able to achieve exactly what I was hoping for. He made great recommendations and helped us created the perfect arrangements.They did all of our bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, table arrangements, and arranged the aisle and pergola. They arrived on time and set everything up quickly on the day of the wedding. Overall, working with them was such an amazing experience from end to end. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Experiencia negativa: Normally I don't put a review, but this service has been so poor that I felt it was necessary. I called around 3pm the prior day to gave flowers delivered. I loved the arrangements posted on the site. . I called first at 11am as thr flowers had not been delivered and the attended recipient was being discharged. I was told that they would take the home address and be out there to deliver in an hour.Here we are the next day. It is one 1:47 pm, and no flowers have been delivered. I called no one answered. So I called from a different phone number.In magically someone answered the phone. Only to tell me that it will be there in an hour. I again requested an ETA and to speak to a manager. The manager has to call me back in thirty minutes.....
