I called the friend who had it sent to me to say thank you, and she said the florist was so helpful and patient while she placed the order. After a week, with the flowers looking as if they’d been delivered the day before, I called the florist to express my appreciation. Three weeks later, all I’ve done is change the water every three days. Some of the roses and the snapdragons faded away after two weeks, but the majority of the arrangement is still gorgeous. I’ve never had such lovely flowers that had such a long shelf life!

My advice when ordering an expensive arrangement( as I am sure this one was, since it was from all our children for our 65 wedding anniversary) ask them to send flowers that are not in full bloom but have a little more shelf life so you can enjoy them longer.
