Experiencia negativa: My fiance and family and I went to Tipton and Hurst for wedding flowers and to just talk about pricing and see what they had and to look around. The people at the counter were very snooty and acted like they were better than us and that we were not really worth their time . When I asked politely if we could speak to someone about wedding flowers, they just rudely said “do you have an appointment” and blew us off basically and just gave us a card and number to call. They did not help us at all. No where on the site did it say to have an appointment. While my family has used them previously for flowers, which were nice, I was really disappointed in the service and the lack of kindness and the snooty attitudes of their employees. I was really excited to work with them and they just lost a customer.

Boy she did NOT DISAPPOINT!! She did a FANTASTIC JOB! The spray was gorgeous! Competitive price and quality materials were used! She even was kind enough to send me a picture when it was finished! The flowers themselves are breathtaking, fresh and most gorgeous arrangements, but the entire space feels like walking into a dream. Their interior décor is stunning, the holiday displays are pure magic, and their bridal collection is hands-down the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. It’s the kind of place that inspires you the moment you walk through the door. What truly sets them apart, though, is the people. Every single employee is genuinely kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. They listen to exactly what I want (usually I just say “something bright and cheerful!”) and every arrangement turns out even better than I imagined. Experiencia fantástica: I live in another state and I needed to order flowers for my cousin's funeral in Little Rock. I was not sure what to order as I don't know much about flowers. A very sweet lady by the name of Dee answered the phone and she was amazing! I explained my cousin's personality and interests to her in an effort to have her help me pick an arrangement. She offered several well thought out suggestions and had me check out some arrangements on their website. She also sent me a real time picture of an absolutely gorgeous arrangement in their shop that she thought would be fitting for my cousin. It was absolutely beautiful and I decided to go with it! I so appreciate how she went out of her way to really help me pick something appropriate for my dear cousin! It is refreshing to get genuine, kind and caring customer service like this, especially in this day and age! I highly recommend this flower shop!

Experiencia fantástica: I want to share my experience with this florist. Outstanding customer service, flower arrangements and an understanding of how important the occasions are when you're in a long distant relationship. My initial order was different from the two dozen roses I had ordered. My disappointment was overwhelming. I wrote an email that morning expressing my displeasure. Not expecting an answer for several days if any. A response immediately came back. Margaux replied she would credit the initial order then send the two dozen roses out free of charge that day. Rare that you have a company that stands by their service with a commitment to excellence. Thank you Margaux and all of Tipton & Hurst for making my wife's birthday as special as I had hoped!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My original post about my bad experience at Tipton Hurst was heard and I can't say enough about how helpful and concerned that they were to fix this problem. I was totally refunded, given a gift card, and most of all that meant so much, was a phone call from Howard Hurst himself. This is what customer service is all about. I was back at another location in only a few short weeks and purchased a wreath for my front door and I'm over the moon satisfied. Thank you TH!

The owners of this company responded quickly and went above and beyond to make everything right, I am beyond impressed by their dedication. I have received an email within the hour of my post as well as a phone call to make sure my issue was resolved. They have also replaced the original order with a new one and refunded my cost, I did not expect this at all and am taken aback by the customer service. Experiencia fantástica: A family member passed away a couple weeks ago. I received a flower arrangement from this florist. It was one of the loveliest arrangements I had ever seen. As I carried it into my mother's apartment building a woman behind me commented on how nice it was and she enjoyed the fragrance. It made the apartment smell like a flower garden for days. My mother pressed some of the flowers as a keepsake. It was quite a blessing in our time of loss.

They did NOT disappoint. The arrangement was beautiful! I ordered several items, and each item was beautiful and/or delicious. I didn't think it would be able to be delivered in time, but a young man called me before he made his afternoon deliveries and told me that he could get it delivered to my daughter. Velva was also very helpful with my order. I highly recommend Tipton Hurst!!

Experiencia fantástica: I am a busy person and work retail hours, so I ordered my wedding celebration flowers online to be delivered sometime before noon on a Saturday. I replied, emailed and then called the online florist to make sure my flowers would arrive on time. They could not promise that they would. So I went to Tipton Hurst on short notice and they delivered the most beautiful white bouquets. The presentation was wonderful. Even though I canceled my online order a week earlier and received my refund, they delivered them anyhow and it was after 3:00 p.m.

Experiencia negativa: Would give this zero if I could. Got a corsage and boutonniere from here weeks prior and on the day they said it wasn’t ready and that they set it to the incorrect date. It was my prom night. Absolutely ridiculous. They overcharge and call themselves fancy for this unprofessional service and quality. Had to go back to pick them up and they didn’t even reimburse me. Once I got the flowers it wasn’t even the ones I asked for. Go somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: Tipton & Hurst's did my wedding in November in LR and the flowers looked gorgeous! Also one of my favorite vendors to work with as Christina was super nice & worked with me to ensure we were meeting my vision (and how to do that within budget)! She was also helpful with some other wedding questions that came up - like room layout or tablecloth colors - that really helped me feel like the whole reception setup was going to look good and flow well together. Would recommend Tipton & Hurst to anyone looking for a wedding florist!

Experiencia fantástica: After receiving flowers that were not quite to my taste, I was able to return the flowers and have a new bouquet made promptly by their team. I really appreciate their kindness and willingness to listen to the arrangement I had in mind. The arrangement I took home exceeded my expectation and I truly love its beauty. Not every arrangement will be seen eye to eye by flora artist and customer, but the T&H team works hard to meet the customer’s standards.

Experiencia fantástica: Tipton & Hurst serviced as the florist for my wedding on 11/11/2023 at C&C by the Lake. I wish I had the professional photographer's photos already because the venue was decorated to perfection. I asked for romantic and elegant and they executed that design to perfection. It was absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous! The venue smelled amazing. Their invoice was very clear and I knew how much I was spending on what very clearly. I also knew what I was purchasing very clearly. Also, their prices were very reasonable and 100% worth it. Working with them was a pleasure and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Tipton Hurst took our daughter’s general ideas of what she likes and created perfection. The bouquets, boutonnières, and the many larger scale pieces for the ceremony area and reception hall exceeded our expectations. Experiencia fantástica: So. I live over 2 hours away from Little Rock but my fiancé is a district manager of store chain and she had to travel to Little Rock to help out another store. Well I wanted to surprise her with some flowers. (Which I do regularly, she loves flowers). But I don’t know ANYTHING about Little Rock. All I knew is what street the store was close to. The lady I spoke with on the phone was extremely patient and helpful in trying to locate an address for me to have them delivered!! We finally located the store and she asked what kind of flowers I wanted. Well her favorite flowers are Gerbera Daisies and sunflowers. So that’s what I told her. Then she informed me it would be delivered after noon sometime. These folks had the most beautiful arraignment of flowers I’ve ever had delivered and had them delivered way before the expected time!!! I met with Chris and Christina last spring and shared my colors and inspiration… and they ran with it. Chris sketched out ideas, selected the flowers and brought my vision to life (even within my budget!!). Day of was more beautiful than my Pinterest board. We received compliment after compliment on the floral design of the entire ceremony and reception. The ranunculus were absolutely the most perfect I had ever seen. Experiencia positiva: My family ordered flowers for the memorial service of my 25-year-old sibling. Because this service was for someone so beloved and so young, it was hard for us to choose what we might need. We needed explanations and ideas, and the employee servicing us had to be asked many times to explain the terminology she was using. She seemed a little annoyed with us, honestly. This was not our main issue, however. These flowers were ordered two weeks in advance, paid in full, and were expected at noon. The service was at 2 pm, and we communicated with this location the morning of to confirm the 12 pm delivery. The flowers were delivered during the service. A guest at the service had to call to demand a refund for my mourning family. The company has both provided us with a refund and apologized profusely, and we appreciate that. Lastly, the flowers are absolutely beautiful.
Ms Henderson, my deepest sympathy for your loss. I again greatly apologize for our mistake. As a florist, there is no excuse for being late to a funeral ever. I am deeply troubled that this happened. Experiencia fantástica: I called late Friday afternoon asking about a sympathy spray for a funeral in Little Rock on Saturday. I had placed an order online with another florist and was told I missed the cutoff time for a Saturday service. The other florist suggested I call Tipton & Hurst. The very nice person on the phone let me know that they would indeed be able to create a spray and deliver it in time for the service! They recommended a beautiful spray with many vibrant flowers called "Celebration of Life." It's beautiful and it feels perfect for the gentleman who passed. I'm not in the area so I wasn't able to see the flowers myself, but the delivery person took a picture and included it in the delivery notification email. It's fantastic!! Photo added below. It took awhile for me to completely understand what that meant, but as I grew up, became wiser, those words made me that man I am today.That being said, I wrote a review, addressing my first visit at the store called Tipton & Hurst - The Heights, located in Little Rock, AR. It wasn't pleasant, by all means. It was so bad that I wrote a very detailed review, explaining my visit at the store and how my girlfriend and I were profiled. It was so bad that I made a promised to never shop there again, nor would I tell anyone about the place. Well, that review was read by the President and Owner of Tipton & Hurst, Howard C Hurst. After thanking me for providing a well written review of my visit, Howard showed true empathy. Immediately, Howard wanted to call his direct line. Note, I didn't expect to have my message read by the owner of Tipton-Hurst. All I wanted was to share some light on poor training and accountability. After thinking about it, I called Howard. I explained to Howard that my girlfriend and I wanted to be treated like everyone else and Howard couldn't agree more. Howard told me feedbacks, no matter good or bad will provide data to the company to review and dissect and make the proper changes for future growth and most importantly, doing the right thing for the customers. During our time talking on the phone, I completely changed my view of the company in its entirely. Without saying it, Howard C Hurst is a remarkable man and leader. Howard didn't have to ask me to call me. Howard didn't have to provide me with his direct phone number, so he could apologize on the behalf of his employees. Howard didn't have to allow me to rant about my past and current concerns on shopping at stores that make me feel unwanted. But, Howard did. And he did because Howard cares. Howard cares about approving customer and associate service at all of his establishments. With over 15 years in the retail space, I have only met a few that is passion like Howard, and I don't know if I will meet another one like him. Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: Would change to zero stars if Google allowed it. (1) If "credited your original orders 100%" meant a refund, just FYI, one was not received. (2) While I appreciate the re-do on the flowers, I am concerned that you called one of the gift recipients, left a voicemail and in it, asked if she understood that fresh cut flowers had to be watered. Perhaps I wasn't clear in my first review. YOUR FLORIST used leaves stripped from the stems of the flowers as filler. There were no stems to place in the water. The cut leaves were just stuffed in the empty spaces of the bouquet ABOVE the water line to fill the holes. Therefore, within 24 hrs, those leaves died. This outcome had nothing to do with the gift recipient. Whether she watered the bouquet or not, the outcome would have been the same. Your message asking if she, a grown woman, understood cut flowers needed watering was grossly condescending. Here are my expectations going forward: Don't worry about a refund or re-doing anything. Don't call my gift recipients. I had to provide their numbers for delivery purposes--not so you could leave inane voicemails. Don't call me. My views are set in stone at this point. Just move on. ORIGINAL REVIEW: As a former resident of AR, Tipton Hurst has been my go-to florist in the Little Rock area for years. Recently though, I have received feedback from the recipients that the bouquets did not meet expectations. One time, I sent a potted hydrangea to my mom. She received a water logged, mostly dead azalea (this was before COVID and its related supply chain issues). The lady at the shop in the Heights argued with Mom that she got what I ordered. When I called and protested, they replaced the azalea with the proper hydrangea. That should have been the last time I used them. But for Mother's Day this year, I used them again for a bouquet to my mom and my aunt. Mom's bouquet looked good in the delivery confirmation picture I received from the florist. Mom indicated that after two days, she noticed a bunch of dead leaves in the arrangement. The florist had used cut leaves from the flowers as filler but they weren't in the water so they died quickly. I didn't get a confirmation photo on my aunt's order and now I know why. My aunt's bouquet was nothing like I ordered. Instead of an arrangement, she received a bud vase with a couple of flowers in it. Perhaps they thought that because she was in an assisted living facility that I would never find out. Or that since I lived out of state, no one would tell me that the bouquets weren't up to snuff. But I did. If I can, I will post ordered vs received pictures. Once again, I am left very disappointed in T&H and needless to say, I won't return after this time. The arrangements are overpriced for what you get.
I am so sorry we did not meet your expectations. Our motto is “Guaranteed Satisfaction Since 1886”. I called and emailed you within minutes to apologize and beautiful larger replacement flowers were delivered within hours. We expect all our customers to be thrilled with their experience. Experiencia negativa: I called yesterday, about 10:30 to see if I could get same day local delivery. The lady on the phone said yes because it was before the 1:30 cutoff. I asked if they had a specific flower, she checked and said yes. She then started trying to sell me a pre-made arrangement that, although lovely (I saw a picture on the website) not what I wanted. She then started talking about length of time it would take to make an arrangement and it would be past the delivery order deadline. (This was to be a simple arrangement not anything outlandish). I told her no thanks and called another florist. They took my order and the delivery was made that afternoon. Although the lady speaking to me was nice, I feel like she was trying to make a sale of a pricey arrangement instead of actually listening to what I wanted. I find it unlikely that I will use T&H in the future.

Experiencia negativa: I was referred to Tipton & Hurst, the flowers we beautiful. However I am giving it a 2 star rating because of billing. I paid for the flowers when I checked out online. I received an email and letter in the mail saying my payment was 90 days past due. I ordered the flowers on 10/26/21 and the statement that came in the mail/on my email was dated 11/1/21. T&H wanted me to pay $23.94 in addition to what the flowers cost for my payment being “90 days late.” Again, I paid at checkout but if I didn’t 10/26-11/1 is not 90 days. I don’t understand their math when it comes to late fees. I emailed someone and they admitted it was a mistake, however I want everyone to be aware if this happens to them. Please keep your receipts and financial records. I don’t want anyone to be taken advantage of and pay double plus a late fee for flowers that they already paid for.
