We were told by every other place we called that they could not promise all white as they are hard to come by. Buy Hawaiian Lei said no problem! We were a little nervous, but they kept their promise! Not only that, they kept in communication with us to reassure my daughter they would be there. They arrived on time in perfect condition. You could see the care that was taken when packaging them. I had a question on how to care for them to keep them fresh until the wedding day and they picked up right away and answered all my questions. The lei’s were kept in the refrigerator for 3 days beforehand and when we took them out the day of, they were still perfect. They were so very nice and absolutely went out of their way to make my daughter’s wedding special. Most importantly, they care! No need to keep looking, you have found your place!

Experiencia negativa: Placed an order, was given a delivery date. Within 24 hours of placing an order Store called and stated will not be able to deliver by said date. Since unable to get by the delivery date was given asked for cancellation and refund (again order was placed less than 24 hours ago) This company said will take a 10% cancellation fee from me. Ridiculous, as they saw my order, saw the delivery date, didn’t even start processing my order, and now do not want to give me my full refund? When I asked to speak to a manager to discuss why I am not allowed a full refund (again placed within 24 hours) the employee refused to let me speak to a manager. Then informed me that I am bound by terms and conditions, started telling me that he can send me a screenshot that shows the terms about cancellations. No EMPATHY whatsoever. Did not feel respected as a customer. Also management refusing to speak to customer or respond to concerns is not good.

The leis come carefully packed in an insulated foil bag with instructions to prolong the freshness. My cousin ordered one same fragrant lei through a different vendor and although it was packed well and received the day of the graduation via Fedex overnight, it was not as fresh as the one I received from Buy Hawaiian Lei TWO days before the ceremony. That speaks volumes to me. Long story short, lei order placed before his conversation with my daughter. Leis received and surprised everyone that they wre as beautiful the day they were delivered as they were the day of the graduation. Of note: there was an apparent mixup with our order resulting in our receiving extra leis, but the company exhibited the usual and much appreciated Hawaii ALOHA and were happy that my grandson enjoyed the leis, see photo attached. If you are thinking about ordering....if we got the leis in ME 2 days prior to the event and they lasted in spite of our handling, we highly recommend this company! Experiencia negativa: I ordered a lei and they called me at 10 pm the next day saying they did not have what I ordered. I asked for a substitution and they didn't have anything similar. I asked to cancel my order and they said they would be charging me a 10% cancellation fee to cover their credit card processing fee, which is much lower than 10%. I can understand if I canceled because I changed my mind but I don't agree with paying a fee when they are the ones who cannot fill my order. Bad business!

We spoke about when to ship(2 day shipping from HI), when the leis will arrive(2 days before the event) and what to do to keep them fresh until the event(following the instructions, the leis I kept lasted a couple of weeks! The first order I messed up by keeping it in the refrigerator of our hotel, which froze it, and ruined the flowers right before my maternity shoot. My husband contacted them and they immediately worked to make me a new ones. The flowers weren’t the same as the original but this Haku matched my dress so much better and it worked out perfectly! Experiencia fantástica: I ordered the 10 pack of purple orchid leis to give our neighbor's family for his celebration of life. The event was on a Saturday and I selected according to the website suggestion to receive them 2 days prior on Thursday. I was surprised to get an email on Tuesday that they shipped and would be here the next day. Usually getting something early is great, but I was concerned that they would last 3 days. I emailed the company and never got a response. I followed the directions on a video to take them out of the shipping box and spritz with water and put them into individual bags. I put them in a large commercial fridge at my work so that they wouldn't be cramped. By Saturday they were starting to get small spots and some of the petals were beginning to wilt. The family was very happy and surprised to receive them. **Edited to ad: I received a call and email from company owner Dan. He was very apologetic for missing my email which ended up in his spam folder. He also apologized for our dissatisfaction. His concern showed that as a business owner he strives to make sure his customers are happy. He graciously offered a discount and if the need arises I would gladly do business with him again. In my book this is a top notch company and will gladly to business with them again. Once I finally did receive the leis yes they were a bit willted but had the delivery company done their job I would've received beautiful fresh leis. Would definitely recommend this company

Experiencia negativa: I ordered this for my daughter's graduation. Was so excited but so disappointed when the product arrived. Fedex handed me the box and it was fairly beat up. I was shocked to see when I opened the box that the lei was just hanging out (no packaging around it to protect the flowers). So then it was a little rough getting out of the box. More importantly, it was in the box with some former ice packs. It was super hot and nothing to keep the lei cool (which is what helps keep it fresh and preserved). For paying that much to expedite 2 day air it; it's super sad. I had to find a clamshell in my house to put it in to try to keep the flowers from getting more damage & threw it in the fridge to cool it down. Won't order again.

Experiencia positiva: I ordered ten orchid leis and per the website recommendation, I had scheduled them to be delivered two days before the event and used FedEx overnight. They were supposed to arrive on Friday for a Sunday graduation, but unfortunately they were not delivered until Monday. The leis themselves were beautiful and still fresh even after the delay, but it was disappointing to not receive them in time for our special event. Of course it was not BuyHawaiianLei’s fault- FedEx dropped the ball. I appreciated that BuyHawaiianLei told me they would file a claim for a refund on my behalf with FedEx.

Experiencia fantástica: Very last minute order to get a haku lei from Hawaii to the mainland (Katy, Texas) when my local lei vendor could not do the job. So placed the order online Friday morning to hopefully get the graduation gift there by the following Monday (it's a Tuesday evening graduation ceremony). Just got the text the order arrived Monday am about noon in Texas. Recipient (the graduate) was super happy (and surprised). If there were more than 5 stars I'd give it to this company.
