Their delivery time is absolutely ridiculous to send a birthday arrangement to an 81-year-old on her birthday at 7:30 at night, ( $25 delivery fee I'm okay with that if it's a reasonable timeline) the whole experience ended up upsetting both of us . Conclusion~ was offered 50% off a future order. ( which I declined) They refunded the delivery charge.

Expérience fantastique: I decided to treat myself this winter and ordered monthly flower delivery for 6 months. I am so happy I did! I have received 3 arrangements so far. The flowers are beautiful and so fresh! With a little care every few days, the first two arrangements lasted for over two weeks, with some flowers lasting beyond that. The third one arrived this week. I wholeheartedly recommend Karen's Flower Shop!

Expérience fantastique: I ordered flowers back in 2021 and this year I got email reminders for an upcoming birthday, which I found super helpful in my email inbox as I had already started to look for a gift. I was calling from abroad to place the order as I probably did last time in 2021 and the service agent was so friendly so helpful and patient it made the experience really lovely over the phone. I suggest using the online order platform, which is also very well laid out and organized or calling indirectly because they are just so lovely there. My friend was also so impressed by the flower arrangement that she couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful they were and that made me so happy that I knew that I had help to make her day feel really special. I called in today at 15:15 and who ever was there thank you so much !!!

Expérience négative: Having never used this service previously, I took a leap of faith based on the reviews on Google. I asked Google to locate a florist in Barrie that delivers. Karen's was the first link that showed up. After placing my order, I saw on the invoice that they were in fact not located in Barrie but rather, Milton. I wasn't impressed but that's more my fault and Google than it is Karen's. I was looking for an update on the delivery and the number provided on the emailed invoice is dead and goes nowhere. Huge red flag. I had to Google their actual number and after way too many rings, someone finally answered and informed me deliveries occur between 3pm and 7pm. I don't recall that being mentioned anywhere during the ordering process. My delivery made it after 7:00pm. Not ideal. Overall not impressed with the service and the lack of information and transparency during the ordering process.

The only problem I had was that there's no notification given to the person paying for the delivery that the product has been delivered. I didn't want to have to call my friend before they were delivered as it was a surprise. Otherwise, everything was great working with this business.

The flowers I received were gifted to me, supposed to arrive on the 12th of February (planned 2 weeks in advance) showed up on the 13th after 6pm after arranging between 12-2pm. They absolutely reeked of cigarettes, tried to get a hold of them to make the complaint but ofcourse they do not answer their phones. Needless to say don’t waste your money. This is completely unprofessional of a business to ignore calls and have items with an unpleasant odour on them delivered to anyone!

She takes care of them and they bouquets usually do well with the number of days the last for. Though, resourceful as she always is, she found a way to make them last even longer! Lol. Expérience négative: Ordered the double cascading orchid for an ill family member at $100( $150 with delivery, taxes etc), only to see what was delivered appeared to be a grocery store level orchid - NO Cascades, very disappointing- only solution offered, possible replacement with different colour. Not ideal, when someone is ill! When you are trying to show them that they are special and provide them with a gift that requires minimal maintenance and maximum effect! Would not recommend this shop, very unsatisfied with both product and offers to correct!

My only qualm was the upfront request to add a tip. If the staff is wonderful and hard working as described, then the management should pay the salary that their staff deserves.

Expérience négative: Paid 210$ for 12 multi coloured roses.. and there werent any Red roses in mix at all even tho the picture had Red roses. Also it was delivered to me from a shop in strathroy that could of gave me 2 dozen roses a bear and chocolates for the same price... Kind of feel a bit ripped off here. At least have the same roses that are in the picture for that crazy amount of money.

Weather and road conditions can be a reason for a number of florists to think it isn’t worth the trip. Expérience fantastique: Wonderful flowers, wonderful delivery service. This was the second time I'd used your company. The previous time all went as expected and the arrangement was fabulous. This time the recipient was not home on the delivery date but the delivery person tried several times to reach her, finally succeeding but too late in the day. The recipient lives in a rural area over 80 km from the store location and this was after a major snowstorm. They agreed to deliver the following day which they did. The flowers were beautiful, virtually identical to the online photo and in excellent condition. I'm extremely pleased with your product and service and would definitely recommend to anyone.

After calling the shop the following day the flowers were found in a driver/s car and finally were delivered day later. Because it is very cold in Canada at the moment the flowers arrived frozen. Not exactly the level of service you expect from the professional business.

Given there is a $25 delivery fee, I would expect something a little better vs. best effort. I sent my mom flowers for her birthday this week and she didn't receive them until 630pm. Thank you, Karen's Flower Shop! Karen's came up in a search for florists that could deliver to my grandparent's area for a birthday surprise. A lot of the big online flower delivery sites sometimes seemed to have slightly cheaper prices or were offering quicker delivery times for when I was ordering, but they also had a good number of iffy reviews. I went with ordering from Karen's directly because they have generally good reviews, it felt like I'd be supporting a smaller more local shop, and they had a good selection of high quality locally sourced gifts to go with the flowers. Even though I am apparently geographically challenged and they were a little over an hour out from my grandparents... (sorry about that), the delivery went smoothly. My grandmother is still talking about the lovely surprise. She reports that the orchid was a gorgeous purple and was healthy with tons of flowers on it. The mylar balloon was high quality and still lasting fairly well after two weeks. And she said that the "pot of gold" treat basket was overflowing with good quality chocolate. She highlighted in particular that it had tons of Laura Secord chocolates and had chocolate covered popcorn, which it turns out is a favorite of hers that she hadn't had in a while. It also sounds like the delivery person who brought them the gifts was exceptionally kind and professional. My grandparents were very happy!

Expérience positive: This isn't the review I want to be giving. When I received the text message on the weekend to complete a review, I was thinking to myself I better not... But here we are, now I received an email for a review, and I feel like I should warn some people. FIrst. Karen's Flowers is not the issue. Their courier service, which I don't know the name of, is absolutely unacceptable. I ordered flowers via the phone on Tuesday January 20th, 2026 for delivery Friday afternoon. (They said Scarborough was afternoon delivery) Which was fine. These flowers were being delivered to a senior at 70 years old for their birthday. The courier showed up at 1030 at night which is completely unacceptable. I called Karen's flowers Saturday January 24th, just to confirm they were delivered since I hadn't been contacted that they were. They had to contact the courier company, and called me back to say the courier company needed to get a hold of the driver, and they would get back to me. Which I never heard from. Fast forward, I called back to let them know that they did in fact receive the flowers, it was at 1030 at night though, which was completely unacceptable. They woke up two 70 year olds to deliver the flowers. They were scared when someone came to their door that late at night. Obviously they can't leave the flowers outside. I get that, but this should have never happened. It should have been rescheduled. NOTE: since this is January, the weather was clear all day on Friday - there is no excuse that is acceptable to me that this happened. Karen's flowers asked if I "wanted something" or "what would I like to do" There's nothing that makes this right. I ordered from this company because I've had great experiences with them. But this was very disappointing, and there is plenty of flower shops that will continue to have my business, but I can't in good faith order from here for someone else. Disappointing for sure. Just a note for anyone wanting to send flowers. I should also add we sent $90 worth of fresh cut flowers. The order total was $130 with delivery. So it wasn't some cheap arrangement. Buyer be warned. I have also tried to write this objectively, from both sides to give a full picture.

Expérience positive: I am editing my review to say that this business was quick to apologize for the lateness of their delivery driver, assuring me it was definitely not the norm and were kind enough to reimburse the delivery fee. They've also made some adjustments to their website to state more clearly that they DELIVER to Orangeville and aren't LOCATED in Orangeville. I maintain that the Google search does not make such a distinction and I'm hoping that will be rectified in the future. I'm going to start with the positive. The bouquet and chocolates that I sent to my sister-in-law on her 65th birthday were very much appreciated. She raved about how beautiful the roses were and how delicious the chocolate was. However, when I googled "Flower shops in Orangeville" this was the first business to pop up and in bold letters indicated it was in Orangeville. Obviously, it isn't...I learned a little too late. After the birthday bouquet $175, the chocolate $10, the tax $28 and the DELIVERY FEE of $30 the total came to $244. I don't live in Orangeville, nor Milton so I didn't realize I was not purchasing from a local flower shop. I ordered this bouquet 2 days before they were set to arrive. I had expected them to be there early in the day. They arrived closer to 7:45 pm. I called the shop around 5pm asking why they hadn't been delivered yet, knowing my SIL was home all day but was going out for dinner. I spoke to a very nice employee who assured me they would get there soon. I recognize that I was fooled and should have dug deeper, but I just didn't expect this from a business that had been around for years.

Expérience négative: Be warned, very high price for what you get. This bouquet was $105 plus delivery fee of $30, tax and tip that feels mandatory, So $147. I usually go to a local florist and choose my flowers and they arrange them but there was an issue and they didn’t have a large variety. I googled local flower shops to the hospital where my mother was staying and Karens came up and had a lot of good reviews and so I thought I would try them. Turns out they just advertise so much that they come up for every city! I was so disappointed with the bouquet. It is nothing special and certainly not “designer”. They put these really nice photos up of the bouquets and then what you get looks nothing like it and is much smaller. I even sized up. I gave 2 stars because they were easy to order and actually did deliver them to her hospital room. Take photos of the bouquets you actually get!
