The bouquets I've ordered from them have been beautifully arranged, with great style and assortment of flowers to suit my requests. You can add local gifts, too, which is a great bonus. Fantastic experience: The whole team at Props was great to work with for my bridal bouquet. I only wanted a bridal bouquet and no other flowers for the wedding as we weren’t doing flowers for decor and didn’t have a wedding party. They met with me to talk through my vision and helped it come to life. When they messaged me the sneak peak of my bouquet it wasn’t quite what I was expecting and Props made some adjustments to make it match my vision on the spot. I really appreciate them working with me to make my vision come to life and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Props is my go-to floral shop in the HRM whenever I need an arrangement that truly shows how much I care. I love visiting the shop to browse their beautiful selection of plants, pots, candles, and, of course, the stunning arrangements being crafted that day. But the real reason I’m writing this review is to rave about their online ordering service — it’s hands down the best I’ve ever used. I’ve ordered flowers from florists all over Canada and Props is the only one that’s ever sent me a photo of the finished arrangement before delivery. Such a thoughtful touch! I went with the "Designer’s Choice" option, which, in my opinion, is always a good move. Trust the experts, I say! You still get to choose a colour palette — bright and bold, whites and greens, soft and sweet, etc. — but there’s no specific photo of what the arrangement will look like. So when I received the email this morning with a photo of the bouquet, I was thrilled. It’s absolutely gorgeous, just as I expected, and that extra step really stood out as exceptional service. This arrangement is a 'Get Well Soon' gift for a retired florist, so it was especially nice to see it before she receives it. She has a habit of rearranging bouquets, but I’m confident she’s going to love this one just the way it is! Thank you Props!

Negative experience: I contacted them in the beginning of September. They called me back within a few days asked me to email some inspiration photos told me they would get back to me and they have not gotten back to me. I called them three weeks after speaking to them for the first time she said she left a note to the girl to call me now it’s November and I’ve heard nothing.

Fantastic experience: My Husband and I got married in September (2024) and we had the absolute pleasure of working with Props Floral Design Inc. for our wedding day florals! Wow! wow, wow, wow! This team absolutely crushed it <3! I do not have a lot of experience with flowers/floral displays so I didn't have a very concrete idea of what I was looking for when I reached out to Props. I met with Ashley, who immediately started creating a vision and helped ease my anxieties completely. I continued to communicate with Jayme via email about finer details as the wedding date got closer. Everyone at Props that I interacted with over the months of planning was so nice, incredibly helpful and timely, and they just radiate such fun, beautiful energy! The floral pieces that the team ended up putting together from my bridal bouquet, to the corsages, to the table pieces - everything was so stunningly beautiful <3 Our guests could not stop complimenting all the flowers. They added so much to our special day, I cannot say enough good things!! (At this point I haven't received all our professional photos, so I did my best to look through some guest photos that included some of the flowers!!!)

During the planning process, her team was so flexible in making some changes in order to bring our vision to life while making some modifications that helped with cost. She made some recommendations along the way based on her experience and we really appreciated all the suggestions. The entire team were also so sweet to work with. The florals on the day of the wedding were more beautiful than we could have imagined. We are so happy we went with Props and would recommend them to anyone who asks.

Fantastic experience: Props Floral Design is extremely accommodating and provides quality flowers and floral design work. I was looking for a local florist to do a small flower order for a wedding, a couple bouquets and some flower petals.I had originally started business with a different florist, about one month in advance of the wedding date. That florist was unable to communicate properly and respond to my emails promptly, after she suggested to use email as the primary communication method. After about a WEEK of emailing with no response or follow ups, I decided to try to find an alternative florist. I called Props and immediately got a better feeling. Props was extremely understanding of my situation, able to accommodate my order on shorter notice, and adjust my order to my specifications. I had my order open and confirmed with a pick up time and date settled, within a couple DAYS of emailing. The flowers I received were absolutely stunning, high quality, and the bouquets were perfectly crafted. If you are looking for quality floral design work in HRM, I highly recommend Props Floral Design in the Hyrdrostone Market. You will not be disappointed with their work!

I can also attest that they use high-quality and fresh products, as the greenery was used to decorate the mantelpiece at our place afterwards and the bouquet lasted for over a week. One of the staff at the funeral home could hardly believe they were natural (meaning not dyed) - he is a flower lover and sees lots of flowers in his work but had never seen such beautiful, natural colours come through with the straw flowers, specialty (local!) mums and roses. Positive experience: Used props for my wedding, they were AMAZING to deal with however, a few days before my wedding they emailed saying some specific flowers they ordered for my bouquet didn't come. Which was super disappointing since it was one of the only flowers I actually requested. Otherwise, great experience!

Positive experience: Great and trusted florists. They're always ready to create a custom arrangement at the drop of a hat. They keep a good and varied stock of locals and exotics. However, the real review comes when the recipient's eyes pop open a little bit and they can not hide the little "wow" it brings to them. That's Props. They do not disappoint. Though I was sad when they moved out of the downtown.
