Fantastic experience: I left a birthday present to the last minute and phone Webb and Son, spike to a lovely lady called Moria was an absolute god send and arrange for same day delivery even after the daily deliveries had left. Maria went up and beyond to help, such great customer service and super friendly. Will use again in future and will absolute promote amd recommend this wonderful friendly company to others. Negative experience: Absolutely disgraceful, dishonest, and unprofessional. We 450£ for flowers for our engagement ceremony. Before placing the order, we clearly showed them a reference photo of exactly how we wanted the flowers to be prepared. They looked at the photo and confidently assured us that they could deliver the same style and quality. What we received was completely different and looked nothing like the reference photo we provided. The final result was poorly made, messy, and extremely low-quality. This was not a misunderstanding — we were very clear, and they were very confident. The failure was entirely on their side. Because of how bad the flowers were, we did not use them at all during the ceremony. Not a single photo was taken with them. The disappointment was so severe that it affected the mood of an event that was meant to be joyful and unforgettable. If you cannot produce what is shown in a reference photo, you should be honest from the beginning. Making promises you cannot keep and taking people’s money is unacceptable. This was a complete failure from start to finish. I have never seen such poor floral work or such bad organization, especially for an important life event. If you care about your event, your memories, or your money, stay far away from this place.

Fantastic experience: A second beautiful coffin spray for us. One in Spring, with beautiful spring flowers and our recent order of autumnal flowers. Both were exactly what we had asked for. I spent some time pointing at flowers and all I can say is they really ‘got’ what I wanted - even understood my reference to ‘blousey ’ roses!! We wanted them to be loose and informal which they did for us. I also asked for stems to be kept as long as possible so we’re were able to hand out little arrangements - which everyone loved. Attendees said it was stunning. It was a foul day weather-wise so unfortunately no opportunity to take a whole photo, but I am enjoying my own little arrangements from the left over flowers.

Fantastic experience: What can I say? Albie and his lovely team are amazing. I lost a very dear friend and wanted to create a special and personal wreath for her funeral. Nothing was too much trouble and Albie went out of his way to listen and to make sure that everything was perfect - and it was. He made gentle suggestions and did not push me to choose anything or rush me in any way. The wreath was so beautiful and the flowers were divine Thank you Albie SO much - I cannot thank you enough. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Fantastic experience: I used Webb and Son’s for the coffin spray for my Mums funeral. I don’t live in Portsmouth where the funeral was being held so everything had to be ordered remotely. Albie listened to what I wanted, supported and guided me, offering suggestions and even sending photos of different flowers that he thought might be appropriate. The final price was very competitive and the resulting coffin spray exquisitely beautiful….. far exceeding my expectations. Everyone who attended the funeral commented on the flowers and noticed the inclusion of freesias, Mums favourite flower. Several took small posies after the funeral to press or have preserved in resin. Thanks Albie - you are a total star x

Negative experience: Avoid. Unbelievably rude, I only popped in as it was next to the bus stop & thought flowers would be a nice surprise but the older lady that "greeted me" (if you can call snapping 'yes what' & then barking orders at me on where to stand a greeting) made me regret ever stepping in & I definitely wont be making that mistake again. I've had some bad service in my time but this was beyond ridiculous

On Valentines, i was running late and Becky was able to help me by reserving a nice bouquet, really good customer service, she was so friendly and you can customise your order to your need. Negative experience: Disappointing service. I popped into the shop to buy flowers for my friend's Birthday. The lady was insisting to sell me the ones already prepared that were not to my taste at all. When asked to make a nice red, white and pink bouquet, she gave me an unfriendly look and also ignored me when asked for a red wrapping paper, going for the yellow she preferred. Not to mention that the bouquet put together had loose flowers that I had to re- arrange to ensure it looks decent. Appalling SERVICE!! My husband had similar experience a couple of years ago on this shop, but he hoped it was only a one off, a bad day. Never again!!!
