Fantastic experience: I use the flower bar for every occasion! The flowers are beautiful and last for ages! Customer service is also fantastic. I completely forgot a birthday and they saved me! would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Ordered flowers for nephew's funeral 13th March 2026. We wanted a less formal arrangement. Jill suggested a trug. The way the flowers & greenery were arranged in the trug was just right. Delivery as we asked for. First time using them & happy to recommend.

Fantastic experience: My Mum and I arrived for our appointment with Nicky with so many vague ideas, many of the conflicting! Nicky listened and looked through photos of flowers I liked, and what I would be wearing, and to the fact that the wedding was on Halloween and we were leaning into the weird! For some reason, despite being someone who wears colour all day every day, I had thought I might like a cream bouquet… Nicky explained that if nothing else was cream, then there wouldn’t be anything for the cream to “link” to, and the she began showing us some incredible flowers that she could offer, and some examples of they would go together. She listened to my dislikes (no roses, not too heavy on anything blue), and my likes ( I *love* cabbages in a bouquet, and anything that looks a bit alien). We went back for another appointment a couple of weeks later, and Nicky had done a brilliant job on pulling all the ideas together. Even a last minute change from buttonholes for the bridesmaids (Queen Bees) and Best Woman to wrist corsages didn’t put her off her stride - she understood the brief and all was left on her hands for the following week! On the day before the wedding, I collected the flowers and was BLOWN AWAY by the care and attention Nicky had given, and how they were all beyond perfect - she had taken what we talked about and elevated it to the next level! Even down to remembering that I didn’t want a neat and elegant bouquet - I wanted it to look as though I had run past a meadow and just held my hand out to grab whatever was there. Hopefully I’ll work out how to attach photos and you will see what an absolutely incredible job Nicky did for us. We weren’t having flowers at the venue, so this was a fairly small booking (bridal bouquet, buttonholes for about 6 men and wrist corsages for about 8 ladies, plus buttonhole for my Mum and new MIL), but the care and attention Nicky gave shone through in every item. Even the groom, who works in IT and speaks mostly in code, appreciated what an incredible job she did! Thank you Nicky - we will be coming to you for any future flower needs! Fantastic experience: Professional and Exceptional Service!  I ordered 2 bride and bridegroom fresh flower garlands for my daughter's traditional Hindu wedding. We had a meeting with Jill the owner and Nicky the new manager. We went through a few designs and settled on one. We were advised that the garlands in the picture were in fact silk. But the florists told us that they would make them. We were advised and shown the flowers to be used the colours and components needed to construct the garlands. My daughter also requested a means by placing the garlands around the neck and not over the head. A hook and loop attachment was suggested. Nicky had never made this bridal garlands before and took the challenge with great enthusiasm. She kept me informed all the way. The eventual product was excellent and better than we could have imagined. After the wedding my daughter sent both garlands and bouquet to be pressed. I highly recommend Nicky and Jill for their professionalism and exceptional customer service. I know I will be using Flower Bar in the future again.

Negative experience: Funeral flowers were appalling. Not what I chose in book or ordered. Spent £310 on flowers none of which were satisfactory. Never use this florist again. I was embarrassed to have them on the coffin.

As I placed the order from abroad for a funeral that I couldn’t attend in person I was quite anxious that the flowers be delivered on time for the service. When I called the Flower Bar, Jayne answered and kindly assured me that the delivery would be done on time and kept her word! Unfortunately I don’t have a picture to post, but I’m sure it was beautiful. I do recommend Flower Bar for a worry-free and professional service.

Fantastic experience: We were ordering on short notice, from abroad, right after a bank holiday weekend. There was time pressure, therefore, and none of us could physically stop by the florist to approve the final selection of flowers for a family we cared about greatly. Fortunately, having called a few other places and waded through the usual e-florist promos that appear in response to a search, I got Jayne's friendly voice on her answering machine & left a detailed message. The following morning, Tuesday, we connected by phone. We had a detailed exchange, by voice & then text, to describe who the flowers were for and what we were hoping to deliver. In spite of the constraints of time & sourcing, Jayne understood exactly what was desired. Her patient, forthright questions earned my trust; within 24 hours, the delivery was made to the address in the area. The recipients were delighted! First Jayne & then our friends sent me photos of the flowers she had arranged, in a beautiful reusable container/vase. It was a distinctive, elegant, colourful & cheering composition that included roses, lilies and local wildflowers, that was stunning and eye-catching without being stiff or ostentatious. We had composed a note that Jayne carefully copied out. Compared to past experiences with e-florists, that I have found to be difficult, unimpressive (for the price) & terribly impersonal, The Flower Bar delivered exemplary customer service with patience, promptness & thoughtfulness. We couldn't be happier. The floral tribute perfectly captured the style & tastes of a remarkable, accomplished lady & mother. I wholeheartedly recommend Jayne & the Flower Bar for any special occasion or event. Totally worth it!

Fantastic experience: Friendly, warm and attentive. I wanted to use flowers to decorate my mum's birthday cake and they gave me great advice on what is safe to put on and what to avoid. I had my bike with my kid on the back, the lady saw and came out to me to make life easier, which I really appreciated. Their flowers are stunning.

Fantastic experience: I desperately needed (at 3.30pm in the afternoon) to get some flowers out on the same day. Called a few florists who were unable to help. The absolutely wonderful Jayne, at the Flower Bar, returned my call. I explained the situation, she picked up on my stress and was simply amazing. Not only did she personally take the flowers to make sure they arrived, but the flowers delivered were simply stunning. In a world where customer service is increasingly difficult to get, Jayne went over and above and I cannot say thank you enough. Awesome flowers, awesome service.

Negative experience: I'm extremely disappointed with the recent service I had. It's unfortunate I have had to leave this review, however I feel it's the only way Jayne may take it into consideration. I have always purchased flowers from here, even when it was Sue's flowers. Always happy with what I recieved. However the service and treatment I have had from one of the ladies (in a red/brown hoodie believe it to be Superdry) has been awful. I rang to order flowers for my mother, for Mother's Day. I got told quite abruptly that I needed to pay for them before the day as they would be too busy when I collect on the Sunday. So I went in a few days before Mother's Day to pay. I also asked for another bouquet to be made, of pinks/purples/creams. I paid for both bouquets there and then and informed them I'd be there Sunday morning to collect. Sunday arrived and I went into the store. They said my bouquet was ready but I was only presented with one. I asked where the other was, it took a while for them to find my order. Once they did they tried to adamantly tell me someone in my family must have collected it. In the end it turned out they gave it away to the wrong person. AT THIS POINT they were helpful and friendly. They asked if I could wait whilst they make another. To be honest I had no choice and even though it made me late, I thought "fair enough mistakes happen". So I waited and was presented with the flowers. My intense pink bouquet was absolutely fine. Due to being in a rush I didn't check the bunch they had just made me properly. On driving home I noticed that some of the roses appeared to already be dying. I thought I would send an email later that day (a polite one explaining that I was unsatisfied with the flowers for the first time ever, but the ladies were lovely snd helpful). Monday, no reply! As I work in town I thought I'd pop into the store. Well, what I was confronted with was not friendly customer service at all but extremely rude by this one particular lady. I explained I had sent an email and they merely said "yes we got it". Ok what? So no reply? Not going to contact me back? And then added "they're not dead that's just the type of rose they are". She then said extremely abruptly "well you should of come back then shouldn't you?" She had already made me late by giving my flowers to someone else? I explained my email was polite and I said they were helpful. But my mother wasn't happy. I said it's not about the money, I don't want that back. They offered to make me a smaller bouquet. With this they tried to show me the roses and how they had the same look "a protective layer of petals" they called it. They didn't look anywhere as bad as the ones in my bouquet. What got me the most, and I don't think she realised but I happened to notice her eyes rolling at me as well as shaking her head at me. She made me feel so uncomfortable. Well I can tell you now, on returning home today I again looked at the roses. They are dying after 2 days! I have taken another picture and I'm more than happy to show you it! Absolutely disgusted with her attitude and customer service although I had the patience to wait due to their mistake. I hope this is taken into consideration and you have potentially lost a loyal customer from over the years.
