Fantastic experience: My husband and I used Catkin & Pussywillow for our wedding flowers and they turned out so beautifully & smelt amazing . The staff in store were so sweet and patient with our questions, and made collecting our flowers so easy. Would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Never again!!! What an absolute shamble! I went to pick up the £45 flowers my son bought for his girlfriend to celebrate a very special evening. The flowers were not ready when I got there. They said he hadn’t called back to confirm the date! I checked with him and he absolutely did. No problem! They said they would do them right away except that they didn’t have enough roses but not to worry because they were bigger (she meant older, about to die!). She didn’t offer extra flowers to make up for the missing amount of roses. Gave me the most boring brown paper bag. I asked for a bow and she put the thinnest black string on the bouquet!!!! What an absolute joke. I was embarrassed for my son giving those flowers to his girlfriend!!! Tesco would have done a much better job for £10!!! I was so mad I couldn’t talk!!!!! I rushed to another florist in Chandlers Ford and begged for help. The lady told me the roses were old, was gobsmacked they were not in water and said the packaging should have been part of the service!!!! For £10 she sorted them out for me!!! And look at the difference! Your customer service today was appalling!!!!! The bow you offered me was a slap in the face. You clearly could tell I was terribly unhappy with the service we paid for and did not receive!!! Never again!!!! Please see the first two pictures for the bouquet as it was given to me. Pay attention to the fabulous bow!!!! What a joke. And then see the flowers once revamped by the florist in Chandler’s Ford!!!! To say I am mad is not even close to describing how I feel. Your lack of customer service was rude. I couldn’t help wondering if I had been brushed off because I am French. Let’s hope not.

Fantastic experience: Laura and her team designed and created the flowers for our wedding. The flowers were beautiful and exactly met our needs. Laura took the time to meet us at the venue and use her creative ability to ensure the spaces flowers were required for were perfect but also versatile so that they could be moved to the dinner tables too. This was very cost effective. We were amazed that the displays lasted for over two weeks after the event and gave us pleasure for many days afterwards. Negative experience: Very disappointed! I received an anniversary gift which was an enormous vase with a selection of seasonal flowers. The flowers did not even open fully and some of the other plants got mouldy within a few days. This was a shame as it was meant to be a bouquet of flowers not buds. Definitely not worth money nearly 100 pounds!! Delivery service was speedy.

Negative experience: The vibrant bouquet I ordered for my Mums 91st birthday arrived early afternoon looking a bit limp that I put down to the heat . The next day the flowers gradually started dying , three days later they were completely finished ....very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful funeral bouquet. I went in to the shop and although there was very little available in the shop just after Christmas we were able to explain the sort of thing we wanted and pointed to a few things that we liked. We explained we wanted something that looked seasonal but not Christmassy - difficult to achieve at this time of year. The flowers we received were beautiful and everyone commented on them. Thanks!

Negative experience: Like a previous reviewer I rarely leave a negative review, but my experience yesterday at Catkin and Pussywillow was extremely disappointing. The lady who was serving was bordering on rude, I was the only one in the shop and she did not even acknowledge me. When I asked a question she begrudgingly answered, no smile, I was made to feel like an inconvenience. The flowers looked like they were past their best, tired and droopy and gone over, and extortionately priced. So I went to the guys in the market opposite M&S and was treated with respect, efficiency and friendliness, the flowers looked much better quality and were well priced. I will not be going to catkin and pussywillow again but will certainly go back to the guys in the market.

Fantastic experience: words cannot thank you enough. i had my florist cancel on me 2 days before my wedding leaving me scrambling. i emailed catkin & pussywillow and they came to the rescue. i ordered from their wedding pre-made package online and although some of the flowers are different (which helen said they might be) the colours were matched perfectly, and if anything even better than the arrangement online. also ordered boutonnières, jars of flowers for the table and corsages. everything stayed fresh for the morning and it’s been one week since and my bouquet is still going! upon collection we were carefully explained on how to look after them / prep them for the next day. the girl in the shop was very polite and friendly and offered to help us carry everything out. cannot thank you enough, you really came to the rescue. thank you so so much!

Negative experience: Awful experience! I came to this florist for my wedding bouquet due to high ratings on Goggle. When I placed the order I had a good discussion with a member of stuff regarding the type/colour of the flowers (peachy roses and vibrant colours). I was asked to choose the ribbons as well. On collection (the evening before my wedding) I was presented a completely different thing. The bouquet looked really dull with mainly dark flowers and leaves (looks more like weeds to me). There was only one rose. The ribbon was not the ones I chose either. When I pointed this out to the staff, all they said was the lady who took the order did not tell them all this information. Apparently they were aware of the request for peachy roses but simply said the roses were out of stock. I had to instruct them to modify the bouquet to make it look less sad. Everything was rushed as most of the staff members were busy doing Valentines prep. The lady who was doing my bouquet sounded extremely condescending as if I did something wrong! But the most frustrating thing is that I was not contacted at all about flowers being out of stock or the lack of order information. It’s such a special item for a special day but the staff in this shop showed absolutely no care about it, despite the fact that it costs a fortune. I would not recommend preordering anything from this shop, especially for your big days!

Negative experience: Ordered a Christmas wreath kit which with delivery was quite expensive, but the Instagram pics sold me as they looked amazing. When it arrived there was no where near enough moss to pad out the hoop and although some of the foliage was nice lots was definitely not at its best, there also wasn’t huge amounts of it. The best bit was after hanging it on my front door once it rained the red dye from some of the decoration ran down my front door ‍♀️ which didn’t want to come out. I contacted the shop to say how disappointed I was considering the cost and had to chase for a reply and they only offered the postage costs back. Not great customer service. I can also confirm after being on my door for just under two weeks it looked absolutely horrendous and I ended up binning it. I’ve had kits for years now and love to use small business unfortunately I won’t be heading back to this one!

Negative experience: Ordered flowers for my mum. Poor quality, only lasted a day. Did not respond to correspondence. Avoid.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking treats her staff diabolically gets people to do trial runs with a van and then never pays them three drivers in three weeks have walked staff getting complaints about the quality of the flowers and the dying after a couple of days it was embarrassing working for her

Negative experience: Very disappointed! We chose this florist to provide us with a wreath for the funeral of a close family friend. We picked them because the pictures on their website showed an artisan florist that created something a little bit different using greenery and a variety of textures. In fact when we placed the order we specifically asked for the wreath to be as per the photo on the website. What was delivered looked nothing like the picture and was actually quite old-fashioned in appearance. Unfortunately we felt that it was one of the smallest and least attractive wreaths at the funeral. This was quite upsetting for us as we had even upgraded in size and cost to ensure that it would be something we were proud of. To make matters even worse, this florist had received another order for the same funeral and had made an absolutely identical wreath (even in colour) and they were placed next to each other on the display. So rather than looking like something we had put a lot of thought and care into, it was quite the opposite. More of an assembly line wreath. We would have hoped that knowing both wreaths were going to the same place, they would have tried to make them a little bit different from each other. We did email them afterwards to express our disappointment but received no response whatsoever.

Negative experience: Mother's day bouquet paid for but we're not delivered. My 87 year old mum waited in all day for the delivery. No flowers, no telephone call, no apology.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with a £65 bouquet that I gave as a gift today only to find on unwrapping it comprised of great swathes of filler green folliage, two roses and very little else. Embarrassing for me and appalling value, I'll never use them again.

Negative experience: We have had two previous experiences with Catkin & Pussywillow and would have let the first one go without mention, but having read past reviews on here I now see that both issues we have had have been experienced by others also. The first was that a bouquet ordered by my partner as a gift for me wilted within two days - in fairness this bouquet was replaced but - with a lot more greenery, different flowers and fewer flowers than the original. More importantly, whilst trying to arrange floristry for our Wedding, we were spoken down to by the owner, had eyes rolled at us and generally made to feel as though we were in the wrong throughout. We have never had to deal with a business owner quite like this one previously and never wish to again. The way we were spoken to by the owner was so awful that we actually felt the best choice we could make was to cancel our Wedding flowers just weeks before the big day! I do feel we should make a point here of saying that all of the other staff and florists we dealt with at the shop were really lovely and that with that in mind it really is such a shame the owner was so rude and unprofessional towards us both. Staff even apologised on the owner's behalf. Obnoxious owner and would not recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: I use Catkin and Pussywillow for any occasion and they always go above and beyond. I recently used them for my wedding flowers. The communication was great, they listened to what I wanted and their online wedding shop was so easy. The flowers were beautiful and lived for long past the wedding date. We had so many compliments. Fantastic experience: Fantastic customer service and commitment from start to finish. I was severely let down at the last minute by an online florist and Sarah and the team at Catkin & Pussywillow came to my rescue at the 11th hour. Talked through various arrangements with me over the phone and delivered the flowers just before they needed to arrive. They kept me updated throughout and pulled out all the stops to ensure the flowers were delivered on time. Truly exceptional service and customer focus and incredibly friendly too. Fantastic experience: Catkin & Pussywillow arranged the flowers for my dad's funeral in December 2020. Mum said that being in the shop was like bring a child in a sweetie store. She said she spent a small fortune, but it was said without any regret. The flowers were stunning... incredible variety, beautifully prepared and georgeously arranged. Negative experience: Ordered flowers via direct2flortist at 10am for same day delivery. Then have a phone call from direct2florist at 14:30 saying they have rejected my order as wanting an additional £10 for delivery. The flowers were going to Alton?? By the time they had rejected the order it was well passed getting anyone else to delivery same day. First and last time I will be using these guys.

Living overseas with a passion for beautiful flowers myself, I do need to find a trustworthy florist with the passion matching my own. My daughter was absolutely over the moon with her white Orchid display I sent for her birthday in August. I am confident Catkin & Pussywillow will always deliver quality plants and flowers using their artistic talents to put together a composition of unusual flowers using architectural textures and a shock of brilliant vibrant colour. Fantastic experience: The most fabulous florist with the most beautiful and unique offering and the staff are so lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. I love buying from this shop for all my gifting needs as it is not just flowers they offer. The bouquets are so unique and stunning you just cant match the quality and I love the plants they have too if you want something that lasts longer. This is not your run of the mill florist it is very special and I always leave feeling happy and smiling!

However, checking the bank statement yesterday I saw that he had been charged £87.90!!!! Absolutely unbelievable price even when trying to support a local business. I’m not sure I want to support a business that is taking the absolute piss in their pricing

Fantastic experience: Ordered a potted plant for a friend. I think the price was reasonable for a good sized plant with pot and delivery and the quality on arrival met expectations. I only ordered it at about 4.30pm and they managed to deliver them the next day. He was very pleased, as am I. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: Telephoned Jessie on Saturday morning discussing what flowers were available. She was very helpful. Asked if they could be delivered today to my sister in law who lives in Winchester. She advised that it could be done but the delivery would be later in the afternoon. Well they arrived around 2pm. and my sister in law who is a retired florist was really pleased with them. I give Jessie and her team full marks.

Fantastic experience: They produced a fabulous floral tribute & woodland-style garland for my late Mother. Nine days on, the flowers still look fresh; only a few flower heads have withered, and some flowers appear to have grown in a wild sort of way which makes the whole display look even more awesome. I love what they do, I guess the clue is in their title. Faultless customer service. I'll be back.

Negative experience: Very poor service. I ordered a £72.95 bouquet for Mother's day online and the flowers were finally delivered at 4.30 pm following two chase-up calls. The bouquet included a substantial amount of greenery and two days later, the flowers were dying. Expressing dissatisfaction met with a very unhelpful and unpleasant response from the owner. I wish I had read the other negative reviews before ordering! I certainly won't be using this florist again.

Negative experience: Disappointed Smaller than expected display and lasted only a few days before wilting. I don't like complaining but for me, you did not deliver as expected. I chose this florist for a special occasion (70th Birthday)and therefore paid the premium prices. You did replace them but not to the same standard that the original price would expect. My father wasn't overly impressed with the customer service. On my mothers table the flowers still look inferior to the supermarket ones my sister gave (which are not wilting yet either). If you charge a premium you need to do better.

Fantastic experience: Not expecting much first thing on a Monday morning (15 May 2017) but they had some lovely blooms and put together a fantastic bouquet with style and charm: the presentation was stunning. They also had a wide selection of quality greetings cards. Very happy with service and outcome.

Negative experience: Appalling behaviour, poor customer service and very unhelpful. Flowers arrived in shoddy boxes and the flowers were damaged unlike the times before, they were very rude in replying and were insistent that it was the customers fault which is highly unprofessional. Service has gone down hill since the Richmond branch has closed. This is the second time I have experienced poor customer service from this branch, as usually Richmond proved to be more respectful and well mannered.
