Fantastic experience: We had such a fantastic time with Maura and her team for Emma's Hen making flower crowns. Thank you so much for the wonderful service and activity you provided on the day, it was top quality. Your staff were so kind and helpful, and you were so easy to deal with throughout. Everyone really enjoyed the flower crown making, the girls are still talking about it! We also wore the crowns on our night out afterwards in Reidy’s and they got so much attention, with lots of people asking about them, some even asking to buy them!! Fantastic experience: From our very first meeting with Maura my husband and I were so excited to work with Maura. Our flowers were just out of this world and everything looked amazing. The Church was stunning and to have everything set up back in the hotel also was just perfect. Maura really took such great care of us and I absolutely love Maura's attention to detail. Fantastic experience: We got married in Ballygarry in July and I can't stop looking at the beautiful photos our photographer Aoife Kiely just sent through of my beautiful flowers that Maura created for us. I am still in awe at how beautiful they were and my bridesmaid is getting them preserved for me so I'm so excited to see them again. Maura was an absolute joy to have part of our day, and absolutely hit the brief and beyond our expectations, they were sensational and I loved every single flower. Maura included the special touches like the tulips, dahlias, hydrangeas and daisies etc like we discussed. As I had a special reason for wanting those flowers. Fantastic experience: Maura is a professional with artistic flair. My husband and I planned our wedding abroad and she was wonderful to communicate and plan around our needs. We did not have many specific requests and felt her guidance was reassuring and she knew our venue incredibly well! Even with a few last minute adjustments we received so many compliments for the arrangements at the tables, welcoming the guests into the castle, the wedding party pins and even the use of real flowers for the cake decoration. Fantastic experience: We were lucky enough to work with Maura for our recent wedding. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Maura and her team are at what they do. I had admired her work on Instagram for a long time and adored her style of flower arranging, so I was delighted to secure a booking with her. From our first phone call, Maura was warm and obliging - she could never do enough for us. She listened carefully to our requests and replied promptly to many, many emails in the lead up to the wedding in a very kind manner. Fantastic experience: Used Maura’s flowers for our wedding in ballyseede and it didn’t disappoint! Wedding was in June and flowers used had a wild/classy/summer feel. We used an arch outside the door of the belfry which really added to the occasion and are backdrops for photos we will have forever. Maura and her team are great to deal with, adaptive to our requests , and responsive to any questions- would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Maura knocked it out of the park for our wedding flowers. They were spectacular! My wife loves flowers and so a florist was high on our priority list and also we were worried about finding the right vendor. Once we found Maura’s Cottage Flowers we didn’t have to worry anymore! Off just some inspiration pictures Maura created EXACTLY what was wanted. The flowers were wild flowers from her garden and it matched our wedding colours perfectly. To the point that my boutineer matched my suit colour so harmoniously that people didn’t believe it when we said neither Maura nor my wife knew what my suit colour was before the wedding day. The bridal bouquet was spectacular, perfectly put together and sized, the bridesmaid bouquet was stunning. Honestly everything was perfect, they looked so seamlessly put together whilst also looking like wild flowers picked out of the ground. They delivered to the hotel on time with no issues or delays. The freshness was impeccable. We were actually asked if we had picked them that morning ourselves. We had to give all credit to Maura and let everyone who asked know that this was not us… and A LOT of people asked. Maura, thank you so much for making our vision come true and making our wedding day perfect. We have carried that bouquet all around Kerry and back home, Ksenia will not let it out of her sight!!

Fantastic experience: After I got engaged I was worried I wouldn’t find the right dress for me or the right flowers for me or the right ANYTHING for me. I just wasn’t really the traditional bride and was worried about finding my personality in this overwhelming space of elegance. I wanted something natural, I wanted a casual, fun feel to the day, I wanted something romantic. So when it came to my flowers it was important to me that they looked like they came right out of the soil and also that they were healthy looking, meadow like, and, well, sustainability was also important to me. I wasn’t sure I would find what I was looking for as most flowers I’ve seen looked too trimmed and perfect to the point they almost looked plastic. Thank god I found Maura’s Cottages!! Her values and visions seemed to match mine perfectly. Her approach to her business was an approach I was looking for in a florist. The next problem however was that I know next to nothing about flowers. My only idea was that I wanted them, like I say, to look natural but also for there to be lots of blue as blue is my favourite colour. As I didn’t know what I was talking about I gave Maura the freedom to try and match my vision as best she could within the budget I had discussed and we agreed upon. They were everything I had imagined! They were rich, full and looked truly native to the soil. Stunning would be an understatement of great proportions. On a more practical level as well Maura was an absolute professional. She stayed in very regular contact with me, talked through everything with me, listened to me and took regular notes and was generally a very organised person to work with and in deed also very friendly and warm person to deal with. She was also very flexible on the day. She was happy to add the end of my dress to my bouquet when I asked and organised an extra bouquet for me at the last minute. Muara was an amazing person to work with and she really helped contribute to my day…

She prepared the ceremony flowers so that it could be repurposed for the table setting for the wedding dinner and eventually in the house that we and the wedding guests were staying in for the remainder of the week so we could continue to enjoy their beauty and the memories of our special day. Fantastic experience: I was blown away by Maura's work for our wedding in June. Maura and her team put such an effort into every aspect, the arch (which was set up beautifully when it didn't fit due to a last minute change), the table flowers, the buttonholes, the bouquets, the hairpiece and every other little detail. Everything was so beautiful. Maura has a sit down with you well before the wedding and also gives you a walk through their gorgeous gardens to help find exactly what style suits you. Fantastic experience: Maura was magic! I had a loose vision when planning the colours for our Wedding but Maura really put in effort to interpret our plans and brought it to life beyond what we could have imagined. Our bouquets were the most beautiful vivid colours I've ever seen! She worked with our unusual ceremony location like a pro, framing the stage beautifully and positioning little pieces at the entrance and on the chairs to give a coherent aesthetic. Our reception was held at a local venue she had worked with before and she made it very unique to us with little cacti and succulents. You could throw anything at her and she'd make it a work of art. Fantastic experience: Maura did the flowers for our wedding in August 2021 and I could not recommend her enough! The flowers were even more than I could have wished for. Totally blown away by them.... as were all the guests! She was wonderful to deal with from the very first email, phonecall, and visit to her garden, to accommodating our change of date with Covid and helping relatives with their button holes on the day. She was honestly amazing and she had the church looking beautiful! 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Working with Maura was such a lovely experience from start to finish, she is a joy to deal with and so so talented. We met with Maura in her flower haven on the lead up to our wedding in September, and any suggestions I had she was only delighted to hear them and add ideas. Maura took every detail into account (my dress, the bridesmaids and even our personalities) to form ideas to suit our day and venue; I came away buzzing with excitement thinking about how our wedding flowers were going to turn out! Maura created the most beautiful wedding bouquets and arrangements, the variety and mix of colors were just fabulous and added so much to our day. Our flowers are one of my favorite memories from our wedding day and all our guests/ anyone that has seen photos since have commented on how exquisite the flowers were.

Fantastic experience: Maura is sooooooo wonderful! We had a vision of purely foliage for our reception, and Maura made table pieces of ferns, eucalyptus, and vines (to name a few). The photos we have do not do it justice (and because we do not have our professional photos yet) - because the moment we entered the reception hall at Ballyseede Castle Hotel, we felt surrounded by the lush foliage from the ceiling beams and the thick arrangements of the center pieces. I also appreciate how she worked so well with my props. I had dozens of origami rose strands that she hung from the beams as well, and everything was done according to our planning. She can make dreams come true, at any budget, and will strive to work with whatever vision you have - I am confident! Not to mention she is so sweet, she will confidently assure you that you have nothing to worry about. Absolutely loved working with her!

Fantastic experience: I was so delighted to have Maura as the florist for my wedding this year - I remember when she arrived with the flowers on the morning of the wedding, they completely took my breath away! I wanted to have a wildflower theme and shared some inspiration photos with her before the wedding. I knew the flowers would be lovely after chatting to her but I wasn’t expecting how truly amazing they would be! The colours and the variety of flowers were beautiful and they were home grown which is a big plus - you can really see the love and care Maura gives her flowers. All my guests couldn’t stopped talking about the flowers and wanted to know who the supplier was! Maura and her husband Tommy were such lovely people to deal with, we had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and they were so accommodating. I would thoroughly recommend them for a wedding or any occasion!

Fantastic experience: I could write forever about Maura and her beautiful creations for our big day. The flowers were such an important part of our wedding and Maura made every effort to spend time with us getting to know exactly what we wanted and wow did she deliver!! I got so many compliments on my bouquet and I was blown away by the displays she made for the church & venue. They were composed of foliage and flowers from my parent's garden at home and Maura's own (Maura called out to us 2 days before the wedding to pick bits out from our garden that she could include). As my Dad is such a keen gardener it was really meaningful having him involved and including bits from home.
