Fantastic experience: I sent flowers to my gf for a pet loss. I ordered offline and had issues with payment. When I called the next day to check on the delivery, since my bank account showed my payment had been processed, they immediately researched the situation and got Vickie (20+ year employee who clearly hate electronic payments lol understandably) to help. Vickie advised me the payment wasn’t showing on their end so I made another purchase over the phone. The next day, my flowers were delivered, I got a call from Vickie explaining I did actually get charged twice and they refunded me my money. She invited me to the store when I visit my friend who lives in Springfield currently which I thought was a nice gesture. Shout out to the sweet lady who helped me before Vickie and to Vickie for helping me make my friend feel loved during a hard time.

Fantastic experience: So my wife and I just happened to be walking into what on the outside said it was a flower shop. It is most certainly is not, when you walk through the door out to the green house you realize that it is way more than a mere flower shop. The amount of plants, shrubs, trees, succulents and some of the biggest lemons I've ever seen on a tree, and they have an awesome tortoise to help eat dead plants. The staff was so friendly even after leaving some of the ladies wanted to see see what my boys picked out and even showed them how to prune and take care of the plants they picked. Highly recommend to at the very least walk thru this truly amazing place. Thanks again to the staff, I'm sure we will be back soon

Fantastic experience: I am so sorry it's a late review, but a year ago I came in looking to get daffodils for my husband. He was getting ready to get tested for cancer, and I wanted to get him daffodils (the only flower name he knew, and what he called every yellow flower as a joke) to cheer him up before the appointment. I was a mess and started crying in the store, your wonderful team put together a small bouquet and told me it was on the house. The flowers made him smile, and he got a clean bill of health! Thank you all so much, and I'm looking forward to getting him more flowers this year as a celebration anniversary.

Negative experience: Recently, my family and I tried to use Schaffitzel’s for my father’s funeral. Upon arrival to the store, we stood for several minutes unacknowledged while an employee worked behind the counter at what appeared to be a craft project. The store was not busy or filled with customers. When finally greeted, the employee sat us at a squeezed in table and left us with a binder to rummage through; she quickly returned to the counter and project. At no point did she offer any help, so we left. Our trip there was a complete waste of time and to a grieving family, it was somewhat insulting.

We showed them a lot of inspiration pictures and they ran with it and met our expectations 1000%. I have never seen such beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres before. Kim did an amazing job on our larger alter pieces and helped me out tremendously in picking out flowers that would be perfect for our theme in our bud vases. I gave Kim a budget that I was comfortable staying within and she was able to Achieve everything we were looking for and even more within that budget. She came the day of wedding and brought the boutonniere and bouquets and set up the arbor pieces for me! She was so helpful, encouraging and kind and helped make my daughter’s day so special. My husband and I Used Schaffitzel’s 26 years ago for our and we were thrilled to be able to use them again for our daughter’s wedding day! I recommend Schaffitzel’s to anybody who is in need or looking for a florist!

Negative experience: Very disappointed! I called and ordered a "blooming" plant to be delivered for a funeral on Sept. 13, 2025. I was told she had some "BEAUTIFUL, FULL, YELLOW mums" that are ready for the fall season. I said that would be perfect! Unfortunately, (as you can see in the picture) this is what they received! Not one flower "bloomed"! Definitely NOT the description I was told. Very, very disappointing... when you order over the phone from a different state... you just never know.
