Negative experience: We called House of Flowers on Monday for a Friday pick up. Saturday was Valentine’s Day. We asked for a springy, bright bouquet. My husband and I picked them up on Friday morning after deciding to forego the $20 delivery fee. The $55 arrangement was filled with lots of greenery and the quality of flowers was not up to our expectations. My husband said, “That’s not gonna work.” He took it back in and put it on the counter. We won’t be back.

Negative experience: The owner, Donovan, is extremely rude. I haven’t been able to afford the amount I owe due to a car accident, job loss, and assisting family when an EF3 hit Lead Hill AR over Memorial Day. I’ve been struggling to make ends meet. Today, I missed Donovan’s call as I was in the shower. I received a text soon after, and responded. Enclosed is the conversation. He’s further complained to me that I am ‘picky’, and ‘It rubs my girls the wrong way!’ Yet, all of my interactions with the staff have been great, they did an excellent job on our wedding two years ago. I’ve given his staff many, many thanks over the five or six years I’ve been buying flowers from there; but Donovan doesn’t consider that. I called, and spoke with Donovan. Still rude. This is not proper customer service. This is appalling. EDIT: I happen to notice that Donovan edited his own response to include a rambling, accusatory statement that he has no evidence to back up, which he uses to justify his poor customer service skills and inability to control his temper. No wonder he’s mentioned by name in every low review. I changed addresses without telling anyone? That’s impossible. I haven’t moved in five years. You call me an extortionist, yet I clearly and plainly explain the reasons why payment was delayed, using facts that are easily verifiable. You claim I tried to steal from you, yet you had my physical address, my wife’s name and work info… continuing to try and shift blame for your rude behavior. I was in the Army; I know the difference between being rude and being direct- you’re rude, Donovan. Plain and simple.

Fantastic experience: Staff was very accommodating with my needs and desires for a specific funeral arrangement for a classmates husband. I requested a picture of the arrangement before delivery, since I lived over an hour away. The quality and selection of flowers was exceptional. I would definitely recommend House of Flowers to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had been looking online for a Christmas arrangement to give to a friend & too often I’ve ordered something that looks beautiful on line but what gets delivered is not the same thing. I went to House of Flowers on the advice of a coworker. I didn’t see what I wanted in their ready made selection, so the very sweet young girl working in the front offered to have an arrangement made up for me right there. I was on my lunch hour so I was on a time crunch but I shouldn’t have worried-it took less than 15 minutes. All I did was tell her my price range & ask that it be pink (not a common color for a Christmas arrangement, but the girl smiled & acted like it was a normal thing) I paid & in less than 15 minutes she came back with the most beautiful & perfect arrangement I could have hoped for. It was a huge hit with my friend who loved the way the soft pink & white of the flowers matched her office decor exactly. The whole shopping experience at House of Flowers was so wonderful & unique I felt like I’d gone back in time. On line shopping is a necessary (evil) convenience in today’s world, but being in the shop & dealing with kind people who went out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction-the human experience, was what it was all about for me that day. From now on I will always choose House of Flowers

Then I called House of Flowers Inc. The lady I talked to couldn't have been nicer and the flowers were reasonably priced. The lady I was having the flowers delivered to said that they were beautiful and that they brightened up her day. Any time I need flowers now, I will call House of Flowers, Inc. again!
