Fantastic experience: I didn’t realize my recipient was out of town. I had ordered a plant. They called my recipient and kept the plant until she was home to receive it. She says it’s gorgeous.

Negative experience: My brother is in the hospital and this company told me ther was some kind of hospital policy that would not allow me brother to receive flowers. I don’t live in Iowa so I took there would for what they said only to find out later when speaking to the hospital that their story was not true. They offered me a partial refund when they should have used their due diligence to deliver the flowers. They charged a 12 dollar delivery fee and in my opinion are very overpriced. Would never use them again.

Negative experience: One and done. Ordered flowers for family friends funeral and received a call the order didn’t happen.

Negative experience: I’m sorry this place is terribly overpriced, the flowers are okay but the quality of the bouquet? Terrible. It was poorly assemble, skinny and wrapped in sad brown paper with a badly tied bow, insanely expensive too! I do not see where are people commenting good things about the staff, there were rude to us and condescending too. People come here thinking they will receive a higher quality arrangement of flowers, but trust me, ANY hyvee bouquet is 1000000 times better than this, not worth the money

Fantastic experience: I ordered flowers for same day delivery for a funeral service and Irene's delivered. I indicated the colors I wanted because our friend was a huge Cubs fan. They not only delivered on the colors but also added a Cubs logo. It was perfect and I truly appreciate them adding the special touch on their own. I would highly recommend this shop!

Negative experience: This place should be embarrassed. The flowers delivered are quite literally pathetic compared to what was delivered. Spending $70+ on flowers, you’d expect them to look exactly like what was displayed, or at the VERY least the size promised. Didn’t get the correct vase, and the flowers are 4” shorter than what they should be.

Negative experience: I ordered the Premium Bouquet ( paid $150 before taxes) from Irene’s Flowers for my friend’s birthday. The photo online showed a full arrangement of roses in a clear vase. Instead, my order was outsourced to another florist without my knowledge, and what was delivered was a much smaller, completely different arrangement in a green jar (photos attached). When I reached out to Irene’s Flowers, the response I got was essentially “we can’t help you , it was outsourced.” I feel as though I was taken advantage of; because I clearly stated on the call, that I was out of state and it was a gift. That was extremely disappointing — not only did I not receive what I paid for, but the customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. If Irene’s plans to outsource orders, that should be made clear at checkout. Customers shouldn’t pay premium prices and receive something entirely different with no accountability. Very poor experience — I would not recommend ordering from here if you want honesty, quality, or good service, and especially not being there locally to place an order or pick up from store. I don’t recommend. I HAVE ATTACHED PROOF OF PURCHASE AND confirmation DATE , as I see the owner denying my order and will continue to update my review even if it gets deleted.
