This is the owner of Brickell Avenue Flowers. I knew this was a fake review for multiple reasons: the new profile with just one review, the poor grammar, the lack of a sales record under the name "Charles Sand" for any orders (ever), and a totally impossible, vague story of rudeness, since we treat all our customers with excellent service and politeness.

Several years ago, we received a similar fake review from an individual named "Lisbeth Dominguez", who is the daughter of one "Ruben Consa" aka Cora, who apparently with his wife "Yolanda Guzman" owns a flower shop(s) somewhere in Doral. I recognized the same bad grammar, tone, and writing style as Lisbeth's phony review in this review from "Charles Sand". I believe these people see us as some sort of competition in the florist space.

Ruben and Yolanda have two Google listings in the Brickell area. One is the "Brickell Ave Florist", a name very similar to ours that was registered in 2018, whose Google listing says it is located at 117 SW 10th St Suite 101-330. The other one is "Brickell Glamour Flowers", whose Google listing says it is located at 1110 Brickell Ave Suite 430. This can be confirmed via a record search of the official Florida corporation website sunbiz.org.

Unfortunately there is no flower shop located at either location. I have personally confirmed this. The address at 117 SW 10th St is a UPS Store and Dunkin Donuts. Suite 430 at 1110 Brickell Ave is leased by a "Virtual Business Address & Live Receptionist Answering Service", which hosts many different corporations and LLCs.

Although I have been aware of these two Google listings "spoofing" their locations (i.e., "creating fake Google Maps listings or using false addresses to appear in specific, high-value, or target locations"), we have NEVER reported Ruben or Yolanda to the Google fraud department for violating Google's policies. In addition, we have NEVER reported these two businesses to the State of Florida for selling alcohol on their websites without a liquor license. I consider these people far too dangerous to risk reporting.

However, someone completely unaffiliated with our business, immediately prior to the time of Lisbeth's original phony review years ago, DID write a one-star review reflecting the fact there is, indeed, no flower shop at the address in the Google listing for one of those shops. I believe Lisbeth at the time incorrectly attributed that review to us, and retaliated in anger by writing her fake review.

Flash forward back to today: As it turns out, after I received this (and two other) identical one-star, fake reviews this week, I examined the review history for the "Brickell Ave Florist" and the "Brickell Glamour Flowers", and saw that someone (again, unaffiliated to us whose name I do not recognize, and who is not a customer or friend of ours) had recently left one-star reviews for both listings, noting (correctly) that there is no flower shop at either location. It seems the reviewer was angry that after parking in the busy Brickell area, and then walking several blocks to an address where he expected a flower shop to be, he found a Dunkin Donuts.

Once again, I believe Ruben's crew is erroneously blaming us for these reviews, and are retaliating with a barrage of fake reviews, which is devastating to our overall rating and reputation.

So now I speak directly to you, Ruben, Yolanda, Lisbeth, and whoever else is colluding with you to write these fake reviews: WE ARE NOT THE ONES RESPONSIBLE FOR NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON YOUR BRICKELL LISTINGS. We have not reported you to anyone. I ask you to please tell whoever posted the fake reviews under the names "Charles Sand", "Alejandro Fagundez", "Leonardo Cardenas", and "Alexis Ramos" to delete those libelous fictions before we DO have to report them for defamation with malice and tortious interference. There is enough floral work in the Miami area to not have to resort to such gutter tactics as this to gain a competitive edge.
