Fantastic experience: I believe her name was Tammy but she was so nice that when she didn't find what I wanted in the showroom she went back and looked in their warehouse for me. They did find what I was looking for the girls were very sweet when they were checking me out they wrapped my blanket even though they didn't really have something for that they made it pretty it was exceptional service. There is a reason this Bartz's location has been around for so long.

Negative experience: I have been a customer for over 30 years and there has been a noticeable decline in the product volume and details however more importantly they have added charges that management states is needed for delivery efficiency. I should not have pay for what l can tell is an internal operations issue. It’s time to find another vendor

Fantastic experience: The floral arrangements for the Brown Honda Grand Opening were absolutely stunning! Everything was perfectly blue and white, elegant, and beautifully designed. The flowers added a fresh, polished touch to the event and tied the whole space together. Amanda was wonderful to work with and she and her husband set everything up perfectly! Wish I would've taken more pictures. Highly recommend for any grand opening or large scale event!

Negative experience: I was very upset when I was browsing the store while I was waiting for my flower order. What I saw stunned me and disgusted me. They had these sacrilegious candle display in the back of their store. I let them know how I felt, but they just brushed me off. They were candles with various music artists such as lady gaga and other made to look like religious candles. Like the passion of Christ. I will try to include a few images

Negative experience: Secor location customer service thumbs down. I placed an order for delivery two weeks in advance over $100 paid for express delivery which means before 12 PM never received anything I call get hung up on and they avoid my calls for the next 30 minutes. Finally speak to management Tammy who goes to question me and not her worker. Very disappointed.!!!!!!

Negative experience: I generally understand that issues can arise, especially when working through third-party services and not directly with the local business, and I try to be patient when things don't go as planned. However, I was extremely disappointed with how a staff member named Katie handled a situation regarding an order that was expected to be delivered today. Rather than offering assistance or a professional explanation, Katie spoke to me in a rude and dismissive manner. In the middle of our conversation, she abruptly hung up the phone after sensing my frustration. What made the situation worse was that, moments earlier, she had assured me the delivery would be re-attempted the following day, only for the order to be canceled entirely after she ended the call without notice. I learned of the order being cancelled by another member who attempted to assist me. This felt like a petty move by Katie that was done out of retaliation after hanging up on me. This experience was both frustrating and unacceptable. Professionalism and respectful communication are the minimum expectations when dealing with customers, especially in situations that require resolution. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior appropriately.

Fantastic experience: Ordered flower delivery for my mom for mother's day. The flowers arrived on time and everyone was really kind and easy to work with!

Negative experience: I would give ZERO stars if I could. SUPER disappointed with the Mother’s Day arrangement from here!!! What I paid for isn’t anywhere close to what was delivered! The floral arrangement is about 1/4 the size and quantity of flowers that I paid for and that the picture online shows. And when I called them, they placed the blame elsewhere. (No accountability from them.) I paid just under $70 for an arrangement that looks like I paid $15. Arrangement my mother received had only TWO pink roses, FOUR carnations, and 6 itty bitty tiny roses. HUGE difference from online pic. See the 2 pictures I posted: what the arrangement should be versus what my mother received. I think I got ripped off, big time. I would NOT recommend this florist!

Fantastic experience: Ordered flowers for mother's day gift and had last minute changes. The customer service rep was able to fix my mistake when ordering and get my Mom her flowers. She really saved the day, great customer service and I will be using this store for all my flowers needs in Toledo!

Negative experience: Typically great quality, I was always adamant about my flowers coming from here because they last way longer and I find it more worth it than to buy grocery store ones that need replaced every week. My boyfriend got me this beautiful arrangement on 3/18, well the first pic was taken on 3/23 of the roses wilted and the BUDS of the lilies dead. The second pic was on 3/28 and they’re completely dead. This was a 200 something dollar arrangement completely dead within 10 days. I called on 3/29 when I finally got some time (usually any time I do have is later in the day when they’re closed so it took me some time to get around to calling) looking for some type of replacement, refund, credit? Literally anything because I love Bartz and the quality is never like this. I was told on the phone I would’ve had to call by 3/25 for replacement and MAYBE if I took the time stamped picture up to the store they could do something for me? I am a busy person I don’t have time for a MAYBE especially cause if they still couldn’t help me I’d be even more irate. So hopefully these time stamped photos under this review will catch their attention and I can get compensated in some way. I’m very disappointed. Side note: I was very respectful over the phone and I’m not trying to be nasty in this review either, I just want the matter to be corrected in some way and so far I’ve pretty much just gotten a “sorry we can’t help you.” This is all very absurd to me. I’ve always received great quality and customer service here prior. EDIT as response to the owners response, Ive worked at a greenhouse I know all about caring for flowers. I shouldn’t have had to replenish the water after FIVE days. I have a full time job, school, and children so I called on the weekend when I had the time. Obviously when only 5 days after they started wilting and that gave me a 2 day span to call in that sense. Thanks for all your help and passive aggressive suggestions rather than fixing the manner though, very professional.

Fantastic experience: My niece and I were lured in by the sign that read "biggest selection of jelly cats in town. " I think stock was a little low since Christmas wasn't to long ago, but we both still found a buddy we couldn't live without. I'm sure we'll be back as we also had our eyes on some plants and there was a great selection.

Fantastic experience: I have been shopping at Bartz for over 30 years. The quality has always been great. However I live out of town now, and I wanted a small arrangement sent to my mother, a red poinsettia. They sent white instead. When I called they said they could pick up the white poinsettia, and replace with the red. After careful thought, and good business sense, I felt they should have delivered the red that I ordered, instead of taking the white poinsettia back, just an act of kindness and just business sense. 12/6/2024 Thanks Bartz for your responding to my review, and rectifying the matter! Fantastic experience: The day came, and we knew it was coming soon, but the reality of it coming was the most difficult to accept. Reality came that Sunday morning, and sorrowfully, the storm rolled in because she had passed three days before her birthday. The Family of Margie Ann Williams would like to convey our appreciation for the professionalism and compassion bestowed upon us during this bereavement. It was exceptionally challenging to find the perfect balance of white florals with a touch of gold, our Momma’s favorite color. When one thinks of gold, as a Christian, it reminds one of the strength and omnipresence of the Lord. This color, which she loved so dearly, was not just a color to her but a symbol of her light that showed brightly that final day at sunrise. You captured the essence of the vision perfectly and synthesized it stunningly with the funeral home arrangements. The floral sprays accented her final presentation beautifully since our Momma was more precious than gold to us. Negative experience: Bartz was what Teleflora used when I tried to send my mom flowers. When I called to tell them what they sent wasn’t what I hoped, they put me on hold and then they said it was Teleflora’s fault, as if they don’t put the actual arrangement together. No apology, no kindness. Photo of what I thought I ordered and photo of what was actually sent. I’m cancelling my credit card payment and telling Teleflora to never deal with this local florist again. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: I AM STUNNED THESE PEOPLE ARE EVEN IN BUSINESS! WAITING FOR FLOWERS FOR DAYS, they keep telling someone they are on truck, then today the truck driver isn't in. Don't bother with these people **NOT A FAKE RVW - I have emailed the owner from my address, it was more despicable than I can even type here. If you want $7 of carnations for more than $50 and not even enough ribbon for a bow, and THEN! They insult you to boot - call them. AGAIN - all this time later, someone sends flowers and they don't even look like what the person intended. It is not a FAKE REVIEW. They are cheating customers and no one is doing anything about it. I am very disgusted looking at this and seeing how poorly they treated me then and now, today 11-27-24. Previous review was over a year ago - you can tell they haven't changed.

Fantastic experience: Recently ordered a flower arrangement for a funeral that was beyond my expectations. Impressive & elegant assembly that was a perfect tribute to a dear friend. “The Dean” arrangement is a seasonal display that has a more masculine look to it, perfectly suited to our needs. Bartz Viviano never disappoints, l would certainly use them again. Delightful gifts & cards throughout their store consistently hits the mark for any recipient, an excellent curation of goods.

Negative experience: Had the worst experience ever with bartz .i have been using them for 20plus years.for the last 6 months I have been sending roses to the same place every 2 weeks with no card because the person I sent them to knew it was me .i tell them every time I order please don’t reveal the sender because a lot of coworkers are trying to find out who it is and we are kind of having fun with it.so this week i sent them a talking to a manager please don’t reveal the sender no problem they tell me but that day some random person we don’t know said I’ll find out who it is because they knew someone that worked there and they did somehow get someone to tell them i was livid call and complain talked to the so called manager on secor rd she proceeds to tell me she will get to the bottom of this. Call me back, accuses me of being somehow involved in the way that they revealed the name saying it was nobody there. It would’ve not happened from there and they have the only information to give that out the manager, Tami Was very rude to me, accuse me of giving out the information somehow and she hung up on me. Will never use them ever again. If you want want confidentiality I would suggest going to another florist.

Fantastic experience: Amanda and the team at Bartz Viviano went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our special day. The arrangements for our bouquets were absolutely stunning and the centerpieces left me speechless. I had intended to use my own stands which Amanda was totally supportive of but when the time came and they were not sturdy enough, she swapped them out for her own free of charge. She was so easy to work with despite me being 1000 miles away in Boston. I can't recommend this team enough!

Fantastic experience: Such a special place I went in for a jelly cat and found out they have a large selection of plants pretty much every single one I want I was surprised the cactus were only 5$ I will own every one by this summer lol they had a lot of plants I’ve never seen around here so I’m really happy I found them so close to my home the whole place has such a vibe it’s hard to explain but I highly recommend stopping in check out the plant room for sure !!

Fantastic experience: The florist of the century!!! It truly felt like I was meeting with the editor of Vogue when I got to express the vision for my wedding. Right away Amanda was on the move—pulling items & examples from the shelves, books and googling comparisons on the internet. She created an entire proposal within a few days with specific flowers, colors, pricing & designs I LOVED. Fast forward 2 months before the big day, I wanted MULTIPLE changes… not only was Amanda calm, cool & collected, she encouraged my idea & helped bring it together. Now her team… they brought my idea to life!! Seeing them get to work at the venue was incredible. They were meticulous, thorough and SO nice when I asked to see everything!! If you’re still on the fence on whether Bartz is for you or not… I’ll let the photos speak for themselves!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a funeral arrangement designed and sent to a family member who had passed. I worked with a Bartz flower designer by the name of "Pam". I placed my order over the phone and I expressed what I was looking to have sent the flowers, colors and type of arrangement. I was so impressed with what she designed they were just beautiful very unique with gorgeous roses, lily's, as well as other unique flowers. It was a very impressive arrangement

Fantastic experience: My niece was in the hospital for testing and I ordered her a get well children's basket. I express that she was stuck there and the basket would be a great distraction. They delivered the gift basket to the hospital in under 3 hours. They went above and beyond to help me out. I am extremely thankful to the staff for outstanding service. Fantastic experience: I used Bartz Viviano for my wedding flowers and had the BEST experience! Before planning my wedding I had no idea how much florals cost. I got a handful of quotes around the city, and Bartz came in at the most reasonable. I had a couple of florists never even respond to my inquiry form. Amanda (owner) responded to my inquiry the same day! She referenced my Pinterest boards and made a proposal based on the color schemes I was drawn to and considered what florals would be in season when making recommendations. She absolutely nailed the designs. I wasn’t sure what all the flowers looked like in-person and I was feeling overwhelmed with choices. Amanda was super nice and met with me in-person so I could see some similar blooms in the shop. When I expressed I was feeling a bit uncomfortable with the budget, she worked with me to get it in a range that I was happy with. She never made me feel embarrassed or awkward about it, which I SO appreciated. She was willing to work with me to make personal additions to the bouquet. While I never got a chance to do it (ran out of time), she was willing to help with adding a special wrap around my bouquet that was fabric from my mom’s dress. The whole staff was very accommodating and kind during every interaction. We had a groomsmen pick up our flowers the day of the wedding. Bartz staff packaged them nice and secure so they looked fabulous even with the 50+ minute drive. And oh my god, I kid you not….the flowers TOOK MY BREATH AWAY!!!! I was in complete shock at how utterly perfect they were! The colors, the variety, the “flouncy” organic wildflower I was craving…….IT WAS PERFECT! When the groomsmen walked in with the flowers they literally took my breath away!! Thank you so much to Amanda and the wonderful Bartz Viviano staff for making the flowers of my dreams!!

Negative experience: When someone requests a specific flower and calls semi regularly for when that very specific flower is in stock they/I are not looking for a replacement. I ordered these flowers, I paid in advance for these flowers and when I showed up they tried to give me something different and acted as if them not calling me in advance to tell me they don’t have the flowers is totally ok. I’ve also asked them to call me whenever the flowers were back and they never once did. If a specific flower is important to you, this is not the place to go.

Negative experience: Ordered a bouquet for my daughters wedding when the bouquet was received was not the colors that were requested so we spoke to a manager that the manager said that it would be refunded , my daughter had to walk down the isle without a bouquet , when inquired about the refund spoke to the owner who was very rude and refuse to refund the purchase amount stating they don’t grown the flowers , he obviously don’t care about quality customer services !! Kroger would have done a BETTER job!

Negative experience: i was very specific as to a simple funeral arrangement with a dozen white roses and winter greeens it was to be large and in a vase. what i got was a vase of white roses and babies breath. also some pink flowers. i will never be a customer again

Fantastic experience: Our wedding was May 21, 2022 and wow is all I can say, super pleased! I've always heard great things about this company, but I actually got to see for myself. In the time I was planning the wedding. I had a wedding coordinator retire, then the next one resigned. So, the caterer took on my wedding. Which, I was a bit nervous with a caterer decorating. She did alright I guess lol, but I really believe the flowers really made my reception look more beautiful! I wish I could post a pic of how pretty! I got a lot of compliments and they asked who did the flower arrangements. Since I walk with a cane, she also wrapped my bouquet around my cane so I didn't have to hold. I got a crazy amount of compliments how awesome it looked!

Positive experience: My son ordered a corsage this past Thursday for Prom that was yesterday. He ordered over the phone and was sure to ask alot of questions. The corsage seemed pricey to me until I realized who he ordered from it was $32. He ordered one with orchids. It looked like they picked whatever they had left and just threw one together. The edges of the flowers were brown. It definitely could have been better to say the least.

They had all of the trends that the other florist had in one store! Including wine! Then they asked if there was anything else I wanted. So I answered honestly "Orchids" they brought me three kinds! I bought all three, tulips and a bottle of wine. I think the flowers seriously livened up my vase at work. I've been going ever since!!
