Fantastic experience: I have never had a bad experience. It doesn't matter if I'm in store or ordering online. In store everyone if friendly and extremely knowledgeable, which is great for someone lacking a green thumb, like me. They are the only place I use when I need to send someone flowers. They always have the best looking arrangements that last for weeks when properly cared for. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After living in Billings for many years I have relocated to Rapid City. Whenever I need to send flowers to someone in Billings I always go to Gainan’s. Their website is easy to navigate. Their flowers are stunning. The delivery fee is good and they don’t charge a service fee on top of the delivery charge which many places do. Great service & great quality.

Fantastic experience: After an earlier in the day problem with the midtown Gainans my partner and I had a great experience with this one. We came in and immediately were greeted by a super friendly older gentleman. We chatted a bit and he gave me some info on a few plants before offering to be available if we had any questions. My partner and I wandered around the greenhouse area and picked up a number of plants and asked some questions to another lovely women before checking out. From the time we got there we felt super welcomed and comfortable with the employees who were wonderful. I almost didn't give Ganains another chance after the bad experience midtown, but Im so glad we did.

Fantastic experience: Gorgeous arrangement. The flowers were fresh and the arrangement absolutely perfect! The fact that they were delivered early is beyond expectation. Their same day delivery not only made my friend's birthday extra special, but Gainan's made me look like a thoughtful friend by arranging for the flowers to arrive on her birthday. I will never buy flowers anywhere else. For this level of quality, selection and artistry, you'd expect to pay far more than what they charge. Leaving a little extra in my pocket to spend on something beautiful for myself from their wonderful gift store. I'm in love!

Fantastic experience: We were traveling through Montana from out of state and happened upon this garden center via a Google search. I was looking for a Hibiscus Tree, which they had. Yeah! The quality of the flowers and plants in their greenhouses were amazing and so well cared for. The customer service we received was second to none in any retail establishment I have visited. A thirty-something man, whose name I didn't get, (shoulder length curly hair)that helped us made sure the tree i purchased was in perfect health and wrapped for travel. Thank you. If I lived in or near Billings this would be my go-to garden center.

Positive experience: I was overall pleased with the process of the sympathy bouquet I sent, I do have a couple comments. The delivery driver went over and above in the delivery. The bouquet was taken directly to the apartment door and when there was no answer a text was sent to the recipient. Thank you for that. I was however disappointed that the special tribute bouquet did not contain the white carnations nor the red alstroemeria. Since the lilies were not yet open, the bouquet looks a little sparce.

Had a coworker that was to be admitted to the hospital, purchase a bouquet to be delivered, and it then turned out they were not admitted...great news for the coworker, but made tracking her down at the hospital a bit difficult. Nancy at Gainan's was very pleasant to deal with and issued a full refund even though the mistake was on me, not Gainan's. Fantastic people, fantastic service! Thank you!

Positive experience: As always, the flowers looked great! I knew there may be subtle changes to the arrangement based on flower availability and it turned out beautiful. As a small complaint, I was kind of bummed that it didn't come with the bamboo vase as advertised. The arrangement was largely chosen for that reason to remind the recipient a bit of Hawaii. Not a deal breaker, but in your disclaimer, maybe also mention that the vase could also be swapped for a glass one. Thanks for all your beautiful work.

Negative experience: The first orders were a little bumpy, but any problems were resolved with a little back and forth in communication. Until then, I was very satisfied. It worked. However, the last order was not carried out to my satisfaction. I made 2 attempts to clarify this. I can understand if something goes wrong or there are misunderstandings - but no reaction at all to attempts at contact by the customer? So unfortunately I can only give this rating.

Negative experience: This location needs to work on its customer service. I had to hunt a staff member down as several were standing around not helping anyone. The person who I spoke to was not only not knowledgeable but wasnt super friendly or even somewhat helpful. The prices here are beyond ridiculous for what you get. While I like to support local, Gainans will not be a business I will support. High County Growers has better selection, prices and way better customer service so I will only shop there going forward. This store used to be known f9r good customer service but appaprently not anymore its just like some of the box store garden centers. I left wuite dissapointed in my experience at this location, I thought locally owned meant bettwr service apparently I was wrong.

Fantastic experience: Had my first experience at Gainan’s Heights today and I can easily say this will be my new go-to for plants. The staff were all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable on all of the plants. A very welcoming environment and very reasonable prices. We had a great time looking around and enjoying all of the beautiful plants. 10/10, Will definitely be back.

Negative experience: Honestly, it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. 2 employees followed us around the store as if we were stealing, another took my plants away after I set them down to look at another plant. Every single time I've frequented this place, I have been followed or watched like I was doing something illegal. Then, the 2 employees checking people out just ignored us while we waited with no line in the lobby. The only decent person who works there is the older man who came from the back and checked us out. I probably won't be returning, as I don't enjoy being treated like I'm stealing or being ignored when I'm paying $30+ for 4 plants.

The employees are always accommodating and kind, and willing to assist with any requests! The bouquets always come out gorgeous, and I’ve never had a negative experience with them. Fantastic experience: I took my sad, under-watered poinsettia into Gainans's in the Heights this afternoon and Jay gave me some pointers on not only how often to water the plant, but "how to" best do it. (I had no idea some need to be watered daily or at least every other day) He went above and beyond my expectations when he traded out the plant I'd brought in for a fresh, beautiful poinsettia with no drooping leaves! Negative experience: I called and ordered flowers. Was quoted for 35 carnations, paid and had them delivered. Once delivered I found out we were only sent 24 carnations. Called back and got re-quoted by one of the managers, they quoted me around the same - until I told him that I was just confirming the price because I had already ordered and was shorted flowers, then he quickly back pedaled and told me he could refund me my money and go pick the arrangement up. All I will say is if you are from out of state and order from here, confirm with the person your ordering for how many they actually receive.

Fantastic experience: I live in Texas and have family in Billings. I placed and order on line and it was filled and delivered right on time. My granddaughter sent me a picture and it was so lovely, even more beautiful than the picture on line. I was visiting in Montana in August and my husband sent me an arrangement for my birthday and they we so beautiful and they last for the 2 weeks that I was there.

The woman who assisted me didnt drive me out and refuse service. Instead she showed me the plants and kindly informed me they closed. I truly had no idea. Very quickly we found a beautiful plant and small pot. It was perfect, fast and they checked me out without complaint. Even gave my 3 yo a beautiful trimmed rose.
