Positive experience: UPDATE: The manager reached out to me and redelivered the same arrangement and it was leaps and bounds better! Although a little awkward to ask my friend the leave out the old arrangement, I appreciate the florist working to resolve the matter. I have updated my review to a 4-star. Unfortunately, my friend’s brother passed away unexpectedly. I rarely—if ever—leave negative reviews. The person who took my order was very kind and professional. Whenever I send flowers, I always call the shop directly. The representative assured me the flowers were readily available and mentioned that, although they were busy, the arrangements would be very fresh. The flowers were delivered yesterday. I paid extra for Sunday delivery and for a professional arrangement with specific flowers, as promised. What was delivered did not match those expectations. Please see the comparison between what was expected and what was received. I picked this option because it was bright and cheery. If you notice there is more cheap flowers were used. Even the placement of the flowers is poorly done like they just plopped the flowers in the vase with no thought to the arrangement. I am currently waiting for a response from a manager. I am very disappointed and, honestly, embarrassed for my friend who received them during such a difficult time.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. They delivered flowers at the last minute for a celebration of life for my Aunt. I had gotten the timing mixed up on the service. They quickly got a hold of me and we worked out a solution. I really appreciated all that they did as I was out of state. I am very grateful for them and I will call them again when I need flowers delivered.

Fantastic experience: I shopped here for the first time during prom season and loved the corsage. Today I went in with my son to pick out 2 bouquets, one for his girlfriend and one for her mom. The lady working was so kind and put together the most stunning bouquets with the few flowers he had picked out! They didn't look like "grocery store" bouquets, they were a million times better. We will be back again!

Fantastic experience: Got two arrangements here last minute for Thanksgiving. They did a wonderful job!! They took my inspiration and ran with it, and worked with the fact that I am allergic to many common plants.

Negative experience: I used rosemary duff flowers for a long time. Then allen bought them. I used allen for years. Today, they seem to sti haven't delivered flowers for my mom's birthday. Sucks. Ruined the event/suprise and dropped the ball. I won't be using them anymore. If delivering flowers after hours late in the day is working out for you, then yea.

Fantastic experience: Purchased 3 bouquets for my daughters and their friend for their dance recital. Very friendly and within 15 minutes I had beautiful arrangements that made all the other bouquets at the dance jealous! She even added “fairy sparkles” and its those little extras that make a big difference!

The flowers came as promised and they were absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a local florist.

Fantastic experience: When my sister was hospitalized, I wanted to send her a really special potted arrangement. I looked at a lot of potted plants at other local florists and was not impressed. Allen's Flowers had unique and gorgeous options. It turned out I had the wrong location, but Savanna went above and beyond to help find the medical facility my sister was at! It meant a lot at a stressful time. First class products and services, cannot recommend these folks highly enough! I used to work at a florist myself, so this is high praise.

Negative experience: I ordered flowers for Valentine’s Day and they most definitely gave me an old bouquet with flowers that weren’t fresh. For $90 I expected better than this. The picture taken shows the flowers on Feb 15, not even 24 hours after picking them up. One of the roses was already dying

Positive experience: Man as I was driving home today I saw a site I never thought I would see and that being a new name being added to the Rosemary Duff florist building another iconic Escondido family business sadly passing on the reins to Allen's Flowers. All I know is Alan's flowers I hope you truly understand the massive shoes that you have to fill because this florist was one of the best for the last 40 plus years. Negative experience: Was super disappointed when my flowers didn’t arrive to my brothers funeral. It was so sad to see his casket with no flowers .. this is a mistake that cannot be justified especially with an occasion like this. I called a day before to order the flowers (I know it’s short notice) however I asked if it was too late to place an order. I was told it wasn’t too late and the lady accepted my order and processed my order. I told her I needed them tomorrow. I’m not sure if she had her days mixed up because when I called after not receiving them they said the order was placed for the day next day from which I wanted. I gave a 2 star instead of 1 because they sent free flowers to my home as an apology. As that was very kind of them I still cannot understand how my flowers weren’t delivered. My brother passed away so young & deserved to have flowers on his casket.

Fantastic experience: I found Rosemary-Duff Florist when I googled florists in or near Escondido. I was hosting the rehearsal dinner for my son and his fiancée and the venue was in Escondido. When I walked in the store for the first time, the aroma of flowers was spectacular! I didn’t want to leave. I head never smelled so many wonderful fragrances! Mary Ann was very helpful in discussing my options. I returned with my future daughter-in-law when it was closer to the wedding. Mary Ann spent time showing us different combinations of flowers and greens until we all agreed on the arrangements. When I entered the venue on the night of the rehearsal dinner, the florals arrangements were beyond my expectations! They were gorgeous!!!! I received many compliments on them from the guests.
