Negative experience: i was trying to buy flowers for my friends birthday and come here for the first time. the hours of operation online said it was ‘open’ along with a light outside the door that is lit up saying “open” but the door is locked and there’s nobody inside ? i understand maybe locking it because there may be one person on shift and a lunch is required for them but maybe a sign to disclose they are on lunch and will be back for communication on customers in the future should be displayed. kinda disappointed i wasn’t allowed a chance to shop and buy flowers bc they looked so pretty from the outside window looking in :/

Negative experience: Soo the day of our wedding I went to pick up my wife’s flowers for our civil ceremony. The bouquet was wrong in two ways . The ribbon was the wrong color and the style was not the way we showed the young lady working there. So unfortunately after pay $100 dollar for a very simple set up . 6 white roses with baby’s breath. It was wrong and we couldn’t use it . The owner tried to make it right by making a new one on the spot but we had no time as the day of the wedding we were running late and had no extra time to wait around . Whatever ish happens but when I tried to get my money back for the flowers I didn’t use . She claimed I was a liar and I used the flowers when I have ton of pics to prove I surely did not . Also she had all kinds of rude tone and rushing me off the phone . I was gonna drop it and let it go but not after that very rude interaction on the phone. I’m done with Tommy flowers on Foothill .

As a bride this was so important to me. She then listened carefully, asked questions, and clearly understood what I had in mind. With care, creativity, skills, and her knowledge of floral design, Liz brought my vision to life in stunning color and beauty. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, and head table centerpiece, everything was exquisite!!! I received many compliments from my guests and at the end of the evening when I gave away the centerpieces, everyone wanted one. I also want to add that the customer service was GREAT! Liz was so nice and willing to answer my millions of questions. She was easy to reach via text and/or phone and returned texts/calls in a timely manner. Additionally, Liz was up front about the costs of the flowers. I wanted to give my oldest daughter a special birthday gift this year, and yellow flowers are her favorite. Elizabeth and her staff did a professional job (start to finish). She took the time to ensure that my order was correct, and even went the extra mile to see if the order could be modified to be even MORE pleasing aesthetically. Fantastic experience: These flowers for Mother's Day were for my mother in law and we ordered for delivery via the website. It was hard to choose which bouquet because all of them were so pretty! We live out of state and couldn't come to visit, so we sent her flowers and she absolutely loved them! The delivery was on time and the service was excellent! The quality of the flowers were excellent, according to my MiL. We will use this florist again for sure!

Negative experience: Extremely poor result in a floral arrangement, when left to the designer. I asked for specific color roses, and remainder to be determined by designer. The result amounted to dying pink and yellow roses surrounded by violet mums. Absolutely horrendous outcome. I have never seen such poor color choices and flower combinations. Buyer beware!

Negative experience: Ordered flowers for Valentine’s Day. The flowers were beautiful, but died a few days later. So I called and spoke to the owner she told me she would replace them When I called to have them replaced, she denied it and I have it on text from her own cell phone telling me she would replace them liar

Fantastic experience: I needed flowers delivered in Rancho Cucamonga and don’t live there. I prefer to support local small businesses and after looking at Google reviews, Tommy Austin’s had one of the most and highest ratings. On Friday I had sympathy flowers sent to a family. The recipients said the arrangement was beautiful and they all loved them. The next day, Saturday, while I was in flying over the ocean, I ordered another arrangement for a single person at the same address. It was their birthday and didn’t want their birthday to be forgotten during a hard and sad time. Immediately after submitting my order, I received a text message from Lupe at Tommy Austin’s. She didn’t have a delivery driver today, is closed Sunday, and asked if she could deliver Monday. I explained my reasoning for wanting them delivered that day and if she could refer another local florist. Without hesitation, she said she was going to have a friend deliver them. I asked if she was sure, and she said, ABSOLUTELY. It’s Lupe’s amazing service like this; going above and beyond, making it happen, and getting it done, that separates the good from the extraordinary. She didn’t do this because she made $100 on some flowers. It was a genuine act of kindness on her part because she knew how much it meant to me and the one receiving it. I will never use another florist in this Are. This is why local, small businesses will ALWAYS be my first choice. Thank you, Lupe, for making the delivery happen. Fantastic experience: UPDATE 11/13/2024... As usual Tommy Austin exceeded my expectations, but not really as I expect what is their norm... EXCELLENCE! The anniversary bouquet order was, beautiful, tastefully arranged and delivered on time and with a smile. I will only, and I emphasize ONLY, ever use Tommy Austin for my floral shop locally! DROP THE MIC! UPDATE 2023... Once again Tommy Austin knocked it outta the park my wife melted by the beauty of your arrangement..."I Can't Stop Looking At THEM!"...her word! I believe the person who took my phone order was named Claire...who was informative and patient too! This is just why I ONLY use these amazing floral artists 10 /10⭐ from me! I'd like to give a shout out to #tommyaustinflorist in the Terra Vista Center for always hitting it out of the park, and I just wanna say THANKS!! My initial experience several years ago was less than ideal, but #tommyaustin took responsibility, fully corrected the unfortunate situation that had transpired...AND they have consisnently exceeded expectations everytime I've called them since that day!! This time I had a time sensitive special #happyanniversary delivery and they were friggin EARLY!! Wife said, "this was the most beautiful bouquet of flowers I've ever personally received in my life!" ...DROP THE MIC!!

Fantastic experience: First time using Tommy Austin and was very happy with the quality and beauty of the bouquet.

Negative experience: I upgraded to $160 premium version of a Thanksgiving arrangement (plus tax), yet the one delivered was less elaborate than the cheaper, standard version pictured on the website. If I’m paying $90 more for a larger bouquet, I expect it to be LARGER. On top of that, they delivered the arrangement after 1:00pm, when her workday is more than halfway over and heading into the weekend so she can’t even enjoy them at work. A note was left so that they knew it was a business delivery as well, so that was disappointing. Unhappy with the pampas grass swaps as well, completely different vibe than the pictured dried orange twigs in the website photo. I emailed them asking to be refunded the difference in price since I received the standard version but paid for the premium. They ghosted me. Don’t waste your money here. Photos attached of the order received versus the stock website photo. You can see they’re similar sizes with similar flower count - BOTH standard size. They stole my money for that premium arrangement that I never got. Overall, terrible experience.

Negative experience: Ordered the Flowers on the left from their website which was marked as the Most Popular Arrangement for my sister’s milestone birthday. They looked elegant and beautiful. Certainly befitting the occasion. What was delivered looked like a cheap Funeral arrangement. Right down to the tacky greenery. I was horrified and embarrassed when my sister sent me the picture. I live in Arizona and hoped I’d found The Florist to use for all my family members special occasions. Now I know.

Negative experience: Tommy Austin Florist did the following: Misspelled my name (OLAF DE KONING). Spelled it "OLAF BE KPMING!" Delivered the flowers BEFORE 12 NOON WHEN WE HAD ASKED FOR DELIVERY AS CLOSE TO 6 PM AS POSSIBLE! Delivery person had the guard shack guard call the floral RECIPIENT, my doctor daughter, COMPLETELY ruining my (Supposed to be near 6 PM delivery) daughter's surprise gift of flowers. The floral arrangement itself was well done but if there is not a significant discount applied to my credit card account charges as a result of these incredibly stupid mistakes, I will NOT garner repeat business with this florist! Negative experience: The bouquet that orders 70% smaller than what it says and shows in the photo. The carnations were extra small. And the number of flowers is not the same as that of the image it promotes. I don't recommend it.

Fantastic experience: This place was Great, beautiful flowers and excellent customer service! We had just bought a corsage for my brothers date to prom but the day before prom she got him a red rose boutonnière when he got a white rose one so I called asking if we could exchange or return and she said usually no because if the flowers have wilted she can’t resell, but she made an exception because she sold it to us barely yesterday. So thankful and definitely will be coming back.

Negative experience: We are repeat customers who will not be back. We ordered a corsage for daughter prom a week in advance. Corsage was ready on time. As soon as we opened the corsage the roses started falling off. No corsage for pictures or prom. When we called the florist the were apologetic but had no solution and never offered a refund. Poor service. We will not be back.

Negative experience: I don’t give this place a zero because I don’t have the option to. Worse service I have ever experienced with a flower shop. Took them 8hrs to deliver flowers and almost missed the recipient. I even payed the extra fee for early delivery and nothing happened. Got my delivery fee back but i chose that option for a reason. Getting my money back made no difference. Never ordering from this place ever again.
