Fantastic experience: The flowers were beautiful! I called to order a spray. The lady I spoke with was very helpful - even checked to confirm flowers were all available. The flowers were delivered timely. When we arrived at the visitation the flowers were prettier than the picture on the website. The family was very appreciative. Thank you Castro Flowers!

Negative experience: This was my boyfriend’s first time ordering from this shop, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The arrangement looked nothing like the advertised color scheme and had far more greenery than actual flowers. The most upsetting part was that some of the roses placed in the front weren’t even bloomed, which made the entire bouquet look unfinished and low quality. After we both were underwhelmed, we decided we were not pleased with the arrangement at all. He paid a decent amount, including a delivery fee, yet still had to drive back to the shop himself to request a refund. They did offer to remake the arrangement, but after the heavy disappointment, I declined. While we were reimbursed, it’s frustrating that something in that condition was allowed to leave the store in the first place. I understand busy seasons can be stressful, but this felt careless and not worth what was paid.

When I got the picture of the flower arrangement it was beautifully arranged they looked so elegant. My compliments to the floral designer that took the time and attention to detail in regards to my order. Castor's Flower Shop certainly did not disappoint I look to doing future business as now I consider myself a life long customer. Negative experience: I understand that all the correct flowers were added to this bouquet, but when I placed my order, I shared a photo with the ladies that were taking my order. I then sent the photo to one of them and asked if they could replicate what was in the photo. Even prior to all this, I called about getting specific flowers and pricing. They told me either 12 or 16 roses, with all the accent flowers in a vase—because it was supposed to be an arrangement—was going to be $160. It came out to around $175. No problem—I was excited, and they didn’t give me any issues about getting the exact flowers I wanted. Plus, it was cheaper than I expected. The graduate actually had to go and pick up her flowers because I had a lot thrown on my plate last minute today. Then she sent me the photos of what they gave her at the flower shop. I told them it was supposed to be in a vase and that I wasn’t really happy with how they came out. To their credit, they didn’t give me a hard time about trying to make it right. But there was one thing they said that I really didn’t like: “It looks the same as the photo.” Then I heard it again when the first lady passed the phone off to the person who put the arrangement together. At that point, I was kind of done. They seem like nice people, and it seems like a good shop. They gave me a refund—and I probably wouldn’t have taken it as far as needing a refund if they hadn’t told me, “It looks just like the photo,” when it obviously didn’t. And of course, the big issue is that the arrangement I got as a centerpiece for the graduation party won’t be there.

Fantastic experience: I ordered a standing spray for my uncles services. It was hard finding a purple standing spray anywhere else and this florist pulled it off and then some. I ordered it at 1pm 02/24/25 and it was ready by 10am the next day! I wasn’t aware of the size and when I showed up it was definitely bigger than I had expected. It turned out so beautiful and was very similar to the picture online. The colors are vibrant, the flowers were fresh. I’ll definitely be ordering from Castro’s again.

Negative experience: Placed an order with Castro‘s flower shop yesterday… Went over the spelling of our last name twice, they still did not get it right. This arrangement was over $125 so I expected good service, the arrangement was just OK for the amount of money. My intention was to support and give business to a family owned flower shop and local business… They need to do better, very disappointed.

Negative experience: When I would order flowers, I would go to Castro's. I recently went in shop pointed out everything I wanted Flowers and basket of goodies with a bear. The young lady even pulled the basket and took it to the counter. Then proceeded to ring me out. I was given a price which I happily paid. Then I receive phone call I need to call in concerning my order. When I call, I am informed by the same young lady that charged me that she made a mistake and needs to charge me more. I inform that mistake is not on my end, then I speak to someone else who tells me that HEB wouldn't honor their mistake either. C'MON bad analogy since HEB always honors their errors in my experience. Rather than keeping a customer she states she will give a full refund of my order.

Castro's is always welcoming, compassionate and has consistently done a wonderful job. Our more recent arrangements have been no exception, we simply call let them know what we're looking for or ask what they may have available and they take care of everything. We can't thank Castro's Flower Shop enough for all their help. Anytime we need a floral arrangements, Castro's is the only place we will go with.

Fantastic experience: I had trouble ordering online, so I called Castro's in the middle of the morning, and they delivered flowers by noon to my sick mom in the hospital! Granted, they are very close, but still it was very impressive. And the flowers were actually much better than the picture on the website. I ordered Dr. Doggie, and when my mom opened her eyes, she said, "That's my Coco!" So beautiful! We were so happy, especially after having bad experiences ordering remotely in other cities. Fantastic experience: I was in the market for some flowers for my girlfriend and had seen Castro's had recently been remodeled, the new decor was beautiful yet humble and drew me in, and the new larger driveway made parking very easy on me. I was drawn inside and it was even more magnificent on the inside, flowers everywhere and an extravagant scent that made you melt. Immediately Debbie welcomed me and made me feel as if i was in a floral wonderland. I spoke to her about my girlfriend's preferences and she instantly knew what to recommend, She is very knowledgeable and charming, attentive to every detail i had spoken about, The pricing was very reasonable and can't recommend Castro's enough to anyone trying to surprise their loved ones with a lovingly made bouquet. Fantastic experience: I "GOOGLED" the best flower shops in Corpus Christi and Castro's came up in the top 3 florists. I do lots of research, read reviews, look at business websites, and make sure I'm dealing with someone who knows what they are talking about and can deliver. I know it's difficult taking a shot in the dark when you are out of town. Castro's reviews were excellent and plentiful. Their website was easy to navigate and I found a funeral spray photo that was exactly what I had in mind. I was rushed on time. I needed an extra large funeral spray within 3 days. I spoke to Diana and she had a large shipment the morning I called. I asked her to please double check to make sure all the correct flowers and colors were available. She assured me they had them in stock. I had to call her back soon after to have a receipt emailed to my husband's company. She did it very quickly. So far, so good. Tonight we attended the viewing of our dear friend and the funeral spray was absolutely STUNNING and was displayed next to the casket. I cannot adequately describe the beautiful arrangement. Everyone was commenting on how beautiful it was. The colors held a significant meaning and it came across perfectly. Thank you Castro's Flower Shop for an A+ experience during a difficult time. Fantastic experience: I’m in Dallas, but wanted to find a local florist to deliver flowers (same day) to my friend for her birthday. Castros had good reviews and I felt their pricing was good. Same day delivery was an option, and it was only $15. My friend was out walking her dog when she came back to find the arrangement waiting for her at the door. She told me she “gasped”! She was so surprised and felt so loved. My friend sent me pics, and she was right, the arrangement was gorgeous! Thank you to the sweet girl who answered the phone and adjusted the bouquet a bit to my taste. Thank you to the creative person who captured what I had in mind.

Negative experience: If i could i would give them a negative 0 i ordered a sympathy arrangement called Tears blue and white on sept 6 online to be pick up on sept 7 When i arrived the flowers were missing the blue flowers the lady went back and put purple flowers this arrangement was by far the ugliest flowers arrangement we have ever seen it look like the person put no thoughts into it just throw them in the vase we buy a lot of flowers from heb i should of went there but i said its locally owned and it on my way back from del mar and i would pass by the funeral home on my way home to drop them off iwe will never use them again
