Fantastic experience: I live across the country from a family member that just lost a loved one in Illinois and instead of going to an online commercial flower place I decided to look up close by florist to where that family member lives and found Joys Florist. This was a last minute order to express my condolences. Not only did Joy Florist make the arrangement like it appears in the picture, which was just beautiful, but when they had issues with the homeowner being gone, she called me and gave me a few minutes to look for a solution. Which we found one and the flowers made it to the recipient. I am grateful for the extra effort put in to make a sad situation a little brighter. Thank you Joy Florist!!

Joy Florist was listed as one of the best in the Aurora area, and after reading nearly every review I decided to order. I can tell you I'm SO glad I did. From relatives' photos who were in attendance, the arrangement was, indeed, gorgeous! Joy did not skimp on the quality of the flowers of the piece: vibrant lillies, roses, and sunflowers in abundance and in peak form. Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE. The worst service I have ever experienced picking up prom flowers and they shorted me 1/2. I offered to pay extra and the lady was incredibly rude and refused my business. We have been customers here since 2014 and we will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: As a long distance daughter, I wanted to try to send something to my mom for Mother’s Day that wasn’t a major corporation. I wanted to find a small local business near my mom to support. I found this shop and they were very reasonably priced, had great reviews, and beautiful arrangement options. Fantastic experience: 2nd time I have used Joy Florist for local delivery. I was contacted to see if they could replace the vase that was pictured with the flowers with a different aqua vase. I was fine with that, and I appreciated them asking and not just doing it. I also asked for "as early as possible" for delivery, and the flowers were there before 11:00 AM. Very happy with both experiences.

Positive experience: Ordered an arrangement for a dear friend for international women’s day from Joy Flowers. The arrangement was true to the pictures on their website. Vase was beautiful and she was very happy to receive the unexpected arrangement. The only disappointment this time was that when they tried to deliver the arrangement she wasn’t home and they left it on her front doorstep rather than try a second time to deliver. Given the fact that she doesn’t live far from the florist and time of year it would have been appreciated if they tried a second time and also contacted her to make sure she was home when they tried the second delivery. The website requires a telephone number assumedly so they can contact the recipient to make sure they’re home. Notwithstanding the small hiccup I would still recommend Joy Flowers.

Fantastic experience: I ordered flowers for a friend and did not realize that there was a noon cut off for same day delivery. I placed the order right at noon. The online said they could not deliver that day, so I called the florist directly and they were able to have it delivered same day without charging me over and above the normal delivery fee. Very responsive and professional!!
