4 months ago Experiencia positiva: I placed an order for a funeral about 3 weeks ago. I ordered a plant, then included an add-on of 3 red roses to the arrangement. To my surprise, when I arrived at the visitation, the roses had not been included in the arrangement. Had I not attended, I never would have known. I reached out to Stems, and they were very apologetic, offering to refund me for the roses and give me a $25 credit. I accepted, and waited. After a week of not hearing from them, I reached out again to inquire about my refund. They did issue the refund (but did not refund the sales tax), though I have yet to receive any info regarding a credit. This was my first time using Stems, and I had high hopes based on other reviews here, but was left disappointed with my experience.
We are truly sorry for your experience and for the disappointment this caused during such a meaningful and sensitive occasion. Missing the three red roses you specifically added to the arrangement was a mistake on our part, and we sincerely apologize. You should never have had to discover that at the visitation. We’re also very sorry for the delay and confusion surrounding the follow-up and the credit that was offered. That lack of communication understandably added to your frustration, and we regret that we did not handle this more smoothly.
Please know that your credit is available, and when you’re ready to use it, we’d appreciate you giving us a call so we can take the utmost care of your order. 5 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I live out of town and chose STEMS because they are family-owned and they got good reviews here, and they did not disappoint. The flowers I ordered looked exactly like the picture on their website. Same color combo, flowers and size. They were for my mom’s birthday and she loved them. I ordered them on a Tuesday evening and they arrived to my parents’ house the next morning, which was an added bonus. Loved the quick turnaround.

5 months ago Experiencia negativa: I ordered flowers from Stems Florist three days prior to a funeral. The flowers did not arrive at the viewing. I called Stems Florists from the funeral home. They said they would “put something together”. The flowers arrived minutes before the viewing was over. It was not the flowers I had ordered. It was a skimpy bouquet. I can’t decide which is worse ……. no flowers or such an embarrassingly small bouquet. I will not be ordering from them again, and I would not recommend this florist.

5 months ago Experiencia positiva: Picked up my flowers today for my wedding and they were half dead…looked like crap…will never use them again! Ended up throwing them away and went to Hy-vee and picked up fresh flowers. $250 in the trash! Thank you Stems for making the situation right in the end. You went above and beyond to call and correct the matter and yes we will give you another try in the future!

6 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I did a delivery, and ordered from out of state and spoke with Craig and Veronica on the phone and they both displayed amazing customer service! I had made a bit of a unique request and they did everything in their power to make sure it happened how I envisioned it. Meeting all my picky or specific request. The outcome was amazing and I would highly recommend this florist to anyone local or not. They were very accommodating and trustworthy considering I wasn't able to be there myself, 10/10!

8 months ago Experiencia positiva: This is the second and last time I will order from stems. The first time I ordered, the flower arrangement was much smaller than the website photo . They said it was because I ordered the mid-range price, not the premium. This time I ordered a birthday gemstone bouquet that had no upgrades available . Sadly, it did not look like sapphire at all. Just pale blue… even the greenery was lacking. I’m attaching photos of the website flowers I chose and the actual flowers I received.

8 months ago Experiencia negativa: Ordered flowers here multiple times, first arrangement was alright then next two it seemed like they began to take advantage of my knowledge of flowers and age.. I gave them one more chance and they really dropped the ball, used the money I paid in such odd ways within the bouquet. Really did not hit any boxes I requested and sadly somewhat a hostile environment when I picked them up. I never really had a good experience on the phone either, I know very little about what flowers go together along with colors and when I would ask for help I would get such dull and cold assistance. Anyway I believe there are better options in Omaha!

I was shocked at the quality and speed Stems was able to accommodate an order. I had put in an online order around 12pm and was able to pick them up at 2:30pm the same day. The photo I posted doesn’t do the arrangement justice - they were beautiful, staff was incredibly sweet and professional. Thank you again!

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Placed a doordash order on valentine’s day, totally get it’s busy. Forgot to write a note & DD won’t let me edit. Called into the store and the guy who answered the phone was very rude, grunted when I told him I placed a DD order & wanted to write a note. Was angry the whole time I was having him write it. I get it’s valentine’s day, but you can’t let your emotions get the best of you, especially on a busy day like that where performance and quality will determine if someone will come back. i loved the arrangement, but i don’t see myself ordering again with customer service. Update: The manager/owner reached out to me and apologized. Laura was amazing in talking with me and understanding my frustration & displeasure. I really appreciate all the help.

Not only did they deliver 2 hours earlier than expected, the arrangement was beautiful! Exactly what I asked for. Stems always delivers what I want/need.

1 year ago Experiencia positiva: I ordered flowers for my girl for delivery on her birthday. There were some issues with delivery location, partly my fault. I reached out to the shop and had a less than desirable experience. The flowers made it to her, she loved them and they were beautiful. She’s happy so I’m happy!! The next morning I received a call from Craig with apologies and asking how he can make it right to retain my business. It was really nice that he took the extra step to ensure that all was well! I’ll definitely be going back to them.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I hired Stems for our florals for our wedding day this past August and were INCREDIBLY impressed. They worked with us based on the budget we were looking to maintain, and provided us the florals of my dreams!! I don’t know anything about flowers and was really new to all of this, so their guidance was really helpful, and I really appreciated being able to come in and see examples of the arrangements and my bouquet the day before the wedding in case we wanted to tweak anything. It was all perfect - I can’t recommend them enough!

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Amazing service. Red tulips are the national flower for Parkinson's disease. They did everything to find red tulips.for.my.mother n laws funeral . They were out of season in September, but they gave it there all. The roses and calla lilies that I did purchase did not disappoint at all. Absolutely beautiful and they smelled amazing. Would recommend every time.

I unfortunately can’t remember the name of the gal we worked with, but she was so professional and kind. The shop is beautiful and peaceful. 2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Surprised in the best way possible!! For over two decades, I used Beyond The Vine florist in Omaha. They are no longer around and so I was referred to Stems for Mother’s Day arrangements. I was skeptical as I loved the worn the previous florist had always delivered. But Stems came through and delivered stunning arrangements that were everything I expected and more! They listened to exactly wanted in terms of design and style and both my mother and step mother we gushing at how beautiful the arrangements were. They sent pictures to me and they were indeed stunning!! Stems will be my florist for the next 20 years!!!

2 years ago Experiencia negativa: I ordered a premium arrangement of flowers for our father in-laws funeral, what showed up at the church did not look anything like a premium arrangement! It looked more like a basic arrangement. A premium arrangement should be full and look like what you ordered! This is what showed up…disappointing!

I wanted to send flowers to a friend in the hospital and they delivered a beautiful arrangement despite many challenges to the delivery (I’d accidentally given them the wrong name, the hospital couldn’t accept the flowers while my friend was in ICU, etc.). 2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I called the day before Homecoming to see if they could make a boutinniere and they were happy to make one for me, while other businesses turned me away. And when I picked up they were so busy with homecoming orders! Extremely kind of them to take my order even though they already had so many. Very friendly people, beautiful arrangements. 2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I went to Stems to pick up some sunflowers for my daughter’s first birthday. I could not be more impressed! All I did was show them the vases I was going to use and they helped pick out the flowers so I had the right quantity and a perfect filler to help the sunflowers stand up in the vases. Thanks to their help, I made beautiful arrangements for the first time ever!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: If you order flowers in the Omaha area and you aren't getting them at Stems Florist you are 100% doing it wrong! My husband has been ordering them for me from there for years and now I order them for my mom! They are ALWAYS stunning the use unique fillers and vases! Their prices are comparable to the grocery store but they beat them in quality and the fact they are local and family owned! My father passed away 5 years ago and today would have been their 43rd wedding anniversary, thank you Stems for making her smile today!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful florist. My mother passed away last Thursday and her primary care physician was so kind to her while she battled cancer, I wanted to take flowers into the office for the physician and staff. Stems is right by our house. The store smells amazing. In the case they had bouquets of soft pink, green, and purple flowers. I was blown away. They were all unique and breathtaking. One was perfectly in my price range and someone helped me right away. They even talked to me a little about my mom. The physician started to cry when she saw the bouquet. Im sure a little because of my mother's passing but also because the bouquet perfectly represented my mom in every way. The experience was unforgettable so thank you to Stems for helping me. ❤️
3 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I'm a long-time Stems evangelist and believer that ordering important arrangements from any other source only leads to disappointment. But good businesses can occasionally make a mistake. As a long-time Stems customer, I ran into my first issue over Mother's Day. Stems quickly reached out and proactively solutioned to provide the service (and quality) I've grown accustomed to expect from them. In terms of consistency of their arrangements, quality of the flowers and artistry, you're not going to find a better florist in Omaha. And after this experience, I can say you're not going to find another who will match their commitment to serving their customers.

3 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I was skeptical about ordering flowers online without going in person due to previous bad experiences from a different shop. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL once delivered and most importantly the person that received them were tearing up with joy. The staff were helpful and friendly over the phone and I will seek to do business with them in the future!
