1 month ago Fantastic experience: My sweet granddaughter was turning 18 today and because I live in Texas I don’t really know floral shops around the Newport News Hampton area of Virginia. I got a recommendation of Pollard and oh my goodness they couldn’t have done a more beautiful job. I had them do an 18 rose Arrangement and if I posted pictures of my grandchildren on social media, I would put this picture of my granddaughter with her bouquet. Thank you so much Pollard. Amazing selection and enhancements are readily available (just inquire) to take your specific arrangement over the top. Purchased flowers for my bride constantly over the past decade + for no other reason at various times of the year than to say you're thought of. She's never raved about her flowers like she does now over these particular flowers. Decades of purchases "just because" but these arrangements from Pollard's hit different. Stop looking and visit immediately for yourself and you will not be disappointed that you did. Unequivocally the best hands down.

I needed a birthday arrangement with same day delivery and they did not disappoint! Delivery was completed within hours of placing the order and the arrangement looked better in person than online. 2 months ago Fantastic experience: I’ve been using this florist for about the last two years and I come in a couple times a year. Every time I go the customer service is great. The staff is always patient and helpful and they actually take time to explain what options make sense instead of just handing you something. They even walked me through their loyalty program which I appreciated. My last visit really stood out. I had an idea of my girlfriend’s favorite flower and color but I wasn’t completely sure what to get. Madison P helped me figure it out and created a custom arrangement for me. It was honestly beautiful and you could tell it wasn’t something pulled from the back. She really listened and put it together specifically for what I needed. Thank you Madison for the care you put into it. It meant a lot and the flowers were a big hit. This is definitely my go to florist and I would recommend them to anyone.

3 months ago Fantastic experience: My friend just had shoulder surgery and wanted to provide some needed sustenance. A gal named Madison was extremely helpful in helping me with choices. A gorgeous fruit and goodies basket was delivered the next day. My friend was impressed on WOW level!! She said everything was fresh looking...a wide variety of items from cheeses to kiwi . Pollard tried 2 separate times to deliver, called me, and rescheduled the delivery for free for a 3rd time. The receiver loved the flowers, they were GORGEOUS! Thank you very much!!

I buy flowers often for friends, family, and myself, and Pollard’s never disappoints. Recently, I ordered flowers to be delivered to a business as a surprise, but the business happened to be closed. The receptionist at Pollard’s went above and beyond—she personally ensured the recipient received the flowers, even offering to deliver them herself after hours and following up to confirm they were delivered. 5 months ago Negative experience: I ordered an arrangement from Pollard's 1 week before my Anniversary. 4 days before the delivery, I decided to change the note to something whole lot more lovey-dovey (As an Engineer, this is not my strong suit, so I'm trying here). I called the store and a very helpful lady gave me an email address to send the changes to, which I immediately did. The next day, I received an email from Pollards that they had not received any communication (fantastic, they followed up), and to send a response to a different email, which I again, immediately did so. Thinking everything was taken care of, I was disappointed to see the delivery, on our anniversary, with the original note (I then had to show my girlfriend the email I had sent, just so she could at least see that I tried). The flowers were beautiful, so there is that. I emailed the same day to inform Pollards of the error and my disappointment... no response. I then called them a few days later, the lady who answered was nice and apologized. She reviewed the information and said she would have the owner get back with me later that day. It's been 2 days since, no response. Good product, pretty bad communications for sure. Update 10/28/25 After you read the below responses from the florist, know that I did reach out and send the earlier email communications that they say they could not locate. Never heard back, not that they needed to, they apologized and clearly did not intend to to anything further about it, which is fine.

5 months ago Fantastic experience: I can not thank the ladies enough for today. My friend and I came in today 40 minutes before a funeral because another company didn't deliver a flower arrangement. The 2 of us were stressing out and all that we have is a picture of the other arrangement. The lady at the front desk was so patient and calm. They made us a beautiful arrangement and a ribbon that we also needed. They were so kind and helpful. I just want them to know how much we appreciated all of their help!

6 months ago Fantastic experience: Pollard's has been my go to place for flower delivery for about 10 years for Birthday's, Mother's days, Deaths, Valentines days, and Anniversaries. My recipients have always been pleased with the quality of the flowers. Delivery has always been on time, pricing is very reasonable, and the ladies that answer the phone have always been very helpful with any special accommodations I've had to call in. I've never had any issues with delivery dates, times, no broken vases, and as mentioned earlier always had quality flowers delivered. Great dependable company that has provided a consistent level of quality service through the years.

9 months ago Fantastic experience: An experience like nothing I have ever come across from an incomparable team of friendly, invested, and efficient professionals. I live in New Orleans and to invite my Newport News-based parents to live with me in Texas, I worked with the Pollard's team remotely to deliver seven dozen yellow roses. They took me a step further, providing options for custom cards and Texas-themed icons to include in the bouquets. My father and I are both military, so the deliveries were scheduled as part of an "operation"...and I asked the Pollard's team to deliver for seven straight hours, on the dot at the top of the hour. My father informed me that they did deliver, at exactly the top of hour, for the entire day. Absolutely incredible...thank you so much for the experience of a lifetime.

9 months ago Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience with Pollard's flower delivery. I received a call from Pollard's in which they were asking me if I would be home for the flower delivery that day, since it was so hot and they didn't want to leave the flowers and balloons on my porch. I was about to leave shortly on errands and couldn't stay home waiting for the delivery in which we weren't sure when exactly it would arrive. Tammy, one of their employees, heard about the situation as I was talking to the other employee on the phone and she was so kind, gracious, and helpful to go out of her way to personally deliver my vase of flowers and balloons, since it was on her way home from work and she was heading out the door right then anyhow. It was my birthday and she wanted me to receive the flowers and balloons on the day of my birthday instead of having to wait until the next day, which I agree because it seems to mean so much more on the actual day of your birthday. I was having a little bit of a rougher birthday that day, so receiving those flowers really helped lift my spirits! When she arrived, she was so very friendly and her extra effort really made my birthday special and the vase of flowers were such stunning colors and flower types that I honestly could not have handpicked a better arrangement! The balloons were very pretty also and made the flower bouquet even more cheerful. I hope Tammy's boss will read this and recognize and reward her for going out of her way and for being so very sweet and generous in hand delivering the flowers and balloons on my birthday. Thank you so much, Tammy and Pollard's Florist! You helped make my birthday special and made my day!

9 months ago Fantastic experience: Pollards is always my go to for Roses. I really like the grab a dozen, they always wrap them all nice. However, today is our 2 year anniversary so I grabbed Six Dozen roses and decided to do an arrangement myself. 9 months ago Fantastic experience: When I was ordering flowers for my brother's first birthday in heaven and the first year of his passing, I had no idea what I actually wanted to order. Kelly W. took her time explaining the different arrangements. When I picked it up on Saturday, I was overwhelmed by how beautiful it was. I had it placed at the front of our church on Sunday and everyone thought it was beautiful. Thanks so much Kelly for your great help to me and for your amazing customer service. 10 months ago Fantastic experience: I got the One Dozen Ultimate Red Roses Arrangement. It is more stunning in person. Pink was so amazing and her guidance was very helpful. Erika spoke and then added a touch of gold sprayed leaves, OMG!!!! I quickly needed something for a celebration. They heard my need to make a statement and that was accomplished!!! I'll certainly return and you should stop by...you wont regret it!!!!

10 months ago Fantastic experience: I used Pollard's for years when I lived in Newport News! I live in Chesapeake now but had to put in an order for delivery in that area and they did a fantastic job! When I needed something changed, they did it without hesitation and sent me photos for approval. Once received, the recipients sent a photo stating how beautiful and big the arrangement is; they loved it. Customer Service is top notch! There was an issue with the website but Erica was able to help me with what I wanted & place the order over the phone. She was great with answering my questions and making suggestions. I appreciate everyone who was involved with my transa tion & for creating such a lovely bouquet.

11 months ago Fantastic experience: I ordered 2 arrangements for our daughter's baby shower. Unfortunately, it happened to fall on Mother's Day weekend. They were swamped! 11 months ago Fantastic experience: My boyfriend bought me some flowers from here, it's the best flowers I ever received. The flowers are so beautiful and alive after an week after my birthday. I drove by this flowers shop years and wanted flowers from here. And he ended up getting me flowers from here, and not knowing. I love my flowers and definitely going back.

11 months ago Fantastic experience: Although I am from NN, I currently live in Georgia. When I need a nice arrangement, I always call Pollards. Today I had flowers delivered to my mom for her birthday and they were absolutely beautiful! Two weeks ago my mother-in-law passed. At the last minute (so much going on), I had flowers sent to the funeral home not thinking about the time and them closing. Without missing a beat, Pollards made sure that the flowers were delivered to the church the morning of the her service. As expected, they were beautiful. I highly recommend using Pollards. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Pollards for always coming through for me and my family.
