Negative experience: Bought 75 dollar flowers for my girlfriend and they looked nothing like it showed on the website. So underwhelming last time I buy from a florist. If you want to have a big bouquet just buy your own and put them all together. Way cheaper then this scam

Negative experience: Purchased a $111.00 Valentine’s Day bouquet for my girlfriend. They never delivered it, never even bothered to call. Then said they delivered it and charged me anyway. This is one customer who will never come back.

They were absolutely beautiful and were actually larger than I thought they would be. She loved them! I recommend using this small, hands-on, caring florist who does beautiful work at affordable prices. I googled "florists" in my friend's area and was glad to see Flowers by Maria listed because I always like to support small, local businesses. I placed my order online for a same day delivery - the Saturday morning before Christmas, mind you. Maria personally squeezed me in and made it happen for me. I will always appreciate that. Negative experience: I had high expectations about this place but wow was I wrong. I received an email confirming my order when I realized my message was not at all what I had thought about. When I called the lady on the phone reassure me it was a typo and it was going to be corrected. I received a call from the flower shop telling me my flowers were going to be slightly modified using the excuse that because they were placed in the morning there vendor had not gone with more flowers. The flowers I ordered did not look anything like the flowers I ordered online and that was really upsetting. If something is not going to be delivered or change the order then don’t advertise same day delivery if you order before a certain time. I usually don’t do this but this was very special to me and of course I wanted it to be perfect. I will give the lady credit for one thing. I ordered chocolates with my purchase that we assumed were not delivered but the lady walked to the location and personally made sure they were delivered which they were, we just didn’t know at the time.

Negative experience: So incredibly disappointed in this entire experience! Just had a friend pass away and decided to send her family flowers. Maria's allowed me to place an order online even though they were actually closed for remodeling. I wanted to update the message on the card because my name wasn't included but I couldn't speak with anyone... because they were closed for remodeling. I couldn't leave a message and I couldn't send an email... because they were closed for remodeling. Today, I received a call that the flowers were delivered and left in the heat, underneath a camping trailer. Who is going to go look for these flowers under a camping trailer?! Why did I have to pay for delivery when I now have to go get these flower and deliver them myself?! My friends family already has a dead relative and now they have dead flowers as a reminder. Flowers By Maria - Did you even read the card and understand the assignment? Is this your normal practice? This was a truly awful experience.

Negative experience: This Flower shop was so disappointing! Ordered Flowers for a special occasion and on the day I was supposed to pick up I called to make sure it was ready and was told they did not have the flowers I would not be getting my order. They did not call to inform me they weren't going to be able to fulfill this order. They acted like it wasn't a big deal! They sure did charge my credit card though. This was so unprofessional! I would never entrust this place with anything important. The worker put the owner on the phone and she acted like it wasn't a big deal! They didn't even offer to refund me, apologize or offer free bouquet or any kind of compensation. Nope nothing! Do not go to this flower shop if you are expecting to receive an order you are really counting on.

Fantastic experience: Flowers By Maria is my "go to" florist in the Conejo Valley. They are a local small business that provides superior floral arrangements to their customers. Their service excellence extends to their delivery - they are always on time. Don't use a national provider (they always show up first on Google searches) when you can absolutely rely on this superior local small business to excel and deliver exquisite floral arrangements to your loved ones.

Negative experience: I tried on two separate occasions to order flowers. Each time I called, I was sent to a voice menu that was hard to understand, very unprofessional, almost obnoxious. After listening to the long voice menu before I got a chance to talk to a human I was hung up on. Won't be trying for a third time I learned my lesson well.

On the website it had todays delivery not there as an option so I picked tomorrow, but called them just to double check and they delivered the flowers for me with no extra charge day of! Positive experience: Maria’s Flowers did an excellent job at creating my bouquet for my wedding. My bouquet was beautiful and exactly as I wanted it to be, and it arrived in great shape. My only issue was with the boutonnières. I had requested that they make them all exactly the same, so we wouldn’t have any confusion and wouldn’t have to worry about trying to figure out which guy would wear which one, which they had agreed to. When they arrived, they were all different. Two of them had sunflowers, some of them had white flowers, it was a bit of a mix, which made it a little bit stressful on the day of the wedding to try and organize them. I had also let them know that the boutonnières wouldn’t be the type with the pin, I wanted to put them in pocket protectors to avoid the hassle of attaching the pins, so I asked that they make them according to that request. They came as the type that were meant to be pinned on, so the guys had to spend extra time getting them figured out. They still looked nice, just wasn’t exactly what I had requested, so for this, I’m giving 4 stars. I appreciate Maria’s providing me with a beautiful bouquet anyway!
