I remember your order. We accidently left two arrangements behind that were suppose to be brought over that morning from our main store. All Valentine's pick up orders have to come from that store, due to the shere volume of orders, we had almost 300 prebooked pick ups jus for that morning. I am sorry it was not ready exactly at 10am. You actually got your package at 11:09am according to my records. When you picked them up, we would have happily given you full access to any flowers in the cooler, if you just mentioned right then and there in sthe store that they were not to your satisfaction. Yet you chose to accept them without any issue at the time. We can't fix what we don't know is wrong. Your welcome to bring the arrangement back and my offer still stands you can pick from any flowers in the cooler and we will be more than happy to make you a new one. We try hard to do are best during this major holiday with over 600 pick ups in just a 3 day period and almost 500 deliveries on top of that. We do appreciate your feedback and just hope you would reconsider your review. I sincerely empathize with you about the fact they were not ready as promised and for that I would like to give you a $25 gift certificate shoul you accept our appologies. All the best, Rick

Trace, there are new shops popping up all over town, which is fine with us, they call themselves “Flower Bars”. if that’s the case then the University Flower Shop is the original “Flower Bar” serving Columbus for over 93 years creating one of a kind bouquets and letting you pick your flowers! We just do it with good customer service and great value added in. We don’t like to use those new catchy phrases. Kristi, you ordered the designers choice arrangement you didn’t pick any specific arrangement on our website. We had a long conversation about this and I even refunded everything but the flowers. I’m sorry we could not agree upon the value of our work and we sure didn’t mean to disappoint you. I even offered to go pick it up and replace it. Not sure much more I could’ve done. You declined the replacement. You never mentioned anything about the money I returned to your credit card to try to help since you wouldn’t let me replace it. All you have are just negative comments and money back as well.

I don’t know what the blossom flower bar has to do with any of this, but I will definitely recommend them to you and give them your information so they know to keep an eye out for your next order.

Lindsay, thank you for taking the time to give us such a wonderful detailed review of our business and all the things that separate us from other Flower shops. Never use one, 800 flowers or any other order gather they are easy to identify because they don’t have a shop in that city. They just use all the words like the names of real flower shops in that area and then they do advertisements they put them at the top of Google. Make sure you go down the page to find the Local shops via the map and then you know that you’re using your real florist in the area. We are the official florist for Ohio State University, especially the entire hospital system. As a matter of fact, more than one of our employees is a James Cancer Survivor, including one of the owners and we have nothing but great respect for the work they do. As far as the category, cars and trucks, I knew people would go to the lake just because of the wording, you’re right no one would expect products or words like that on a flower shop website! But we are no ordinary flower shop website we offer so many other things in addition to flowers that we are Central Ohio’s Gift Giving Partner since 1932. We offer all kinds of options and I think it’s one of the reasons we’ve not just survived for so long, but have had such great success. The newest Gifts we offer are for the people that can’t have fresh flowers, are our new pop-up origami paper bouquets. Silk arrangements are still our go to because they look so real and we can match almost any picture that you see on the website like the one you posted. Thanks again for that pictures in the review that was really very generous of you. I hope your grandpa recovers quickly and that his caregiver, your grandmother gets lots of love too. She deserves it!

We have no order for a 100 rose wrapped bouquet at all in the last month. You have the wrong flower shop. Can you tell me what shop you ordered from? Can you please check your receipt and tell me the name no of the shop that’s on it and provide a picture of that as well please. If not, please take down this review, you clearly have the wrong flower shop. I’m sorry this happened to you.

Thank you for providing the receipt now it all makes clear sense. This was an order from over four months ago, and I was only looking in the last 30 days. I don’t know how the flowers got the way they looked. All I can do is post a photo of how they were when they were handed to the person that picked them up,after that we can’t be responsible for any changes or how they were treated prior to handing them to her. if they looked like that when they picked them up, I would not have accepted it myself. I cannot add photos to reviews. Only you the sender can.
I posted our photo of your arrangement on christine’s flower shop Google webpage so that you can actually see what was handed to the person back in May if you really want to see what the arrangement looked like on that day. Amy, I appreciate your review and I’m glad you got to get a plant that you will get to enjoy for hopefully a long time. Don’t over water it and don’t underwater it that is my best suggestion. Make sure you stick your finger in the dirt and feel down a good inch or so to see if there’s any moisture. You can always take the plant out of the container to see if there’s any standing water buildup in the bottom that would be a bad thing. That would be bad thing and can could cause plant root rot. You probably know all this, but just wanted to make sure that we could give you as much information as possible to help you succeed. Stop anytime for any Floral needs for yourself or for friends and will be happy to make you a one-of-a-kind create your own bouquet at the budget you need it to be. Shelly, it’s been five years and it still feels like yesterday. Again, I’m so sorry about your experience at our flower shop. I understand it was your brothers birthday and we caused you to be late to his party. We had issues with balloons that failed to hold helium and I honestly never meant to be dismissive about the situation. I know that each one of you in your group gave us one star reviews on Google and repeated the same negative reviews on Facebook. By creating four negative reviews on google over one situation we know you must feel truly harmed and for that again I’m sorry for handling the situation so poorly. I would only hope you might find in your heart to to forgive us. Owning a small family business is challenging and I know that there are times I deserve a negative review, four repetitive reviews saying the same thing is beyond my comprehension. If you believe we deserve it then I can’t change your mind, but I would be more than happy to discuss the situation with you personally and try to resolve this matter. I can only try and reach out to you through the review process to let you know we do care.

Sarah, I have no explanation for why flowers last so much longer for some folks than others. we always recommend changing the water on a regular basis and cutting the stems a little bit each time you do and that really can help. We’re so happy they lasted for two weeks! Cheers, Christine

Even with new tariffs in place like, Holland, Ecuador, Columbia, and Canada, we are keeping our flower prices the same and don’t plan on making any increases for this foreseeable future.
