Negative experience: Very expensive for what you get. Ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife for Valentines Day. Pick the large arrangement. It was no were near large at a premium price. Trousers, and Fred Myers are less expensive and impressive arrangements. Never again.

From the initial phone call, receiving such friendly and helpful service, to the delivery itself. My cousin sent me a photo of the flowers and they were spot on with the picture I made my choice from. Wonderful customer service.

Negative experience: We placed an order for a Homecoming corsage for my son's date. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for anyone to assist us. By the time they did, we had everything selected that we wanted for the corsage. The sales woman disagreed with some of our selections and refused to do the color we asked for. I was a bit nervous picking the corsage up after the experience we had ordering it. I was correct to be nervous. The roses were burgundy, NOT red. They added baby's breath when we had specifically asked for none. The tulle was black instead of the green we had chosen. It was quite disappointing!!! Not to mention it was SMALL. It looked tiny in the plastic container. The one we had ordered last year was much larger and the person that took our order had done so correctly. Not sure what happened this year, but we will not be back. $43 was way too much to pay for that!

We were out of town and heartbroken when our original florist said they wouldn’t not be able to fulfill our order, last-minute. But Appleway swooped in, fulfilled our same-day delivery request, and went above and beyond by including our daughter’s favorite flower in the arrangement. Your kindness, speed, and attention to detail meant the world to us—and to her! Thank you for turning a stressful situation into such a beautiful memory!

Negative experience: My father made a special order of a “5” and “0” for his 50th wedding anniversary, he wanted to recreate the “16” arrangement he gave to my Mom on their 16th wedding anniversary…what he received for the number 5 was some floral foam held together with some floral tape/ribbon, NO backing and NO way to hang it on the stand provided, (in fact there were 3 different stands, all different heights so no way to hang them side by side evenly). The staples provided to him to hang it just pulled through the foam, as again, there was NO backing to support it. We had to come up with an old board to stabilize it in order to get it hung last minute before my Mom walked in on us, (it just kept folding into the 3 pieces of foam when you picked it up), and so it would SOMEWHAT look like a “5”, (it actually looked more like an “S” and nobody understood WHY he would’ve ordered “SO” not “50”)…he went ahead and accepted it and paid the full price of $260 as he didn’t have anything else to give my Mom that day and he HONESTY didn’t know what else to do, he was SO deeply disappointed!!! I understand that he should pay for the flowers at least, but when he went in to Appleway to let them know his disappointment all he basically got was “sorry”. REALLY??? The florists execution was to say the least shoddy, I honestly think a fourth grader could have done better, the apparent excuse he got was they didn’t have a “5” and had to make it, (I myself was able to google a number 5 floral form with a plastic backing even and they had weeks to do so!). I have NEVER, EVER left a bad review or made a complaint to a company, but I’m drawn to do so in this instance as the look on his face AND dejected reaction showing me what he received was heartbreaking!!!!! The guests were even appalled it was sent out that way as ALL of us have heard what a great florist Appleway is, in fact THEY are the ones that encouraged me, AND my Dad, to reach out. He won’t get a “do over” for his 50th anniversary gift, but maybe a little more empathy than just a “sorry”, and a partial refund would have been a MUCH better way to garner goodwill with a heartbroken husband, AND daughter!!!!! Do better Appleway

Negative experience: I ordered two hanging petunia baskets for Mother’s Day, and was extremely disappointed in what I received. The baskets were not even remotely similar to what was advertised on the website. When I called the business, I was told, “This is how all the petunias are and it will eventually fill in.” The manner in which this was explained by the employee was one that suggested I should have already known this. I am not knowledgeable about flowers. Nowhere on the website did it say that what was received was not going to look like the picture. I shopped their website, chose an item with a nice looking picture, purchased it, and paid for delivery as well. After speaking to her manager, she offered to refund my money if I returned them. My work schedule doesn’t allow this and I’m certainly not going to ask my mother to make a two hour round trip drive to do this either. Additionally, I shouldn’t be expected to inconvenience myself or my mother to try and correct their mistake. They should have offered to refund my money outright, and if they wanted their poorly advertised product back, they could make the drive to retrieve it. That would be real customer service. Moral of the story… Use caution with what you order. It may not look at all like what they advertise. I’d recommend calling and asking specific questions about what you’re considering before you pull the trigger on your purchase or you may be the victim of the same bait and switch and poor service I received. Fantastic experience: I went online and looked at sympathy flowers online at Appleway. After I chose an arrangement, I phoned the store to give them the address and information in Maryland. I specified to have the flowers delivered on a Friday. On Wednesday morning, I learned that the funeral was actually on Wednesday afternoon (not Friday). I phoned Appleway and they got on it right away, calling the florist in Maryland. I just received a happy text from the recipient with a photo of the beautiful flowers. Everything about the entire transaction was so perfect. Use Appleway, they are great!!

Fantastic experience: I visited for the first time this weekend. They have a wonderful assortment of plants, pots, and garden decor. There are boxes and carts available for your haul. The employees were attentive and helpful. Went home with some new blooms and a wonderful new garden accent. Definitely worth a visit. One thing I didn't find was handicap parking, but did find a spot near the door.

Fantastic experience: I use Appleway Florists whenever I need flowers delivered, and have for many years. The floral arrangements are made with top of the line flowers, with not 1 tiny brown spot, or slightly wilted look, and the designers are excellent in their arrangements. Never have I had a delayed delivery. Same day delivery is same day delivery. I trust them completely with all aspects, with my gift of flowers.

Positive experience: Friends moving to Spokane, so I wanted to greet their new home with a living plant. This service of delivering hanging baskets was perfect by this local company. The recipient loved it. I would suggest sending pictures of the delivered product, so the purchasers get to see the actual plant, but other than that, they did a great job.

Fantastic experience: I looked up florists in Spokane Valley where my sister's lives, after her granddaughter had surgery. Appleway had many good reviews so i went with them; I'm so glad I did!! Appleway delivered beautifully arranged flowers and balloons the very next day. According to my sister, the flowers were gorgeous!

Fantastic experience: Kathy, owner and manager, spoiled my 96-year-old mother Sally for Easter ~ and as it turns out, throughout the Summer. Kathy gave us a tour of her greenhouses and my mother picked out the perfect pot and selection of pastel blossomed assorted plants to last her beautifully through the end of September. When delivered, the driver came inside my mother's apartment and placed it on a living room table near the window. After Mother's Day this beautiful pot that Kathy artfully arranged will move outdoors to be the focal point on her deck for the balance of the Spring and Summer Season. Thank you, Kathy!

Fantastic experience: So easy to walk in and say "she likes stuff like this." Hand them some money and let them make it happen. I get custom bouquets that are unique and perfect. This most recent one my wife said was easily one of the most beautiful that she has ever received or seen. I talked with them for a moment and learned about purple roses and then had them include orchids (her favorite flower) and left the rest up to them. They make it so easy!
