When my sister had her 50th this summer, Hassell arranged the most amazing bouquets for the event, and it was such a treat to meet the owners when I picked them up. They personally packed the flowers - and said they wanted to meet me after “all these years”. Negative experience: I should not have ordered my flowers here. The said they were delivered and they were not. I received confirmation they were delivered before 1pm to a prominent law firm in Clearwater. There was no mistake, they have not been delivered. I went online and called twice. It is now after 6pm and no one has contacted me. Now I find out the contacted another florist and Ava's is not a florist at all for me. They merely pass on the sale so getting answers is so aggravating. They ruined my surprise because I had to call my girlfriend to find out it didn't get there. My advice is to call the florist that actually delivers and not Avas. So disappointed!!!

Fantastic experience: I was looking at old photos from my wedding last year and I realized I never wrote a review. For starters I LOVED my flowers. A few people I know have come here for their weddings and have never been disappointed. The best part of the experience was the owner. I was so busy the day before my wedding I forgot to pick up my flowers and she knew my wedding was early in the morning before she opened so she called me twice when she realized I still had not picked my bouquet. When I finally looked at my phone and heard her voicemail she was already closed. However she turned around and met me back at her shop. I was so grateful for her. I will without hesitation do business again for future events.

Negative experience: Ordered birthday flowers. They were able to get tulips out of season. BUT, the flowers didn't open and they were the tiniest tulips I have ever seen. When I mentioned my disappointment when picking them up, I was told they are out of season. BUT, they charged me $4 per tulip. Very bad experience.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this florist! I actually live in Clearwater and was looking to send a bouquet of flowers for a celebration of life of a dear friend. I saw samples on line and decided to send one I saw that I liked with white flowers. I asked if they could add a splash of pink since that was a favorite color of my friend. The lady was so nice at the counter and said absolutely! I attended the event yesterday and the bouquet was beautiful! It actually looked better than what I expected. I believe it was $99 with tax and delivery. I think the price was fair and quality outstanding. I definitely will be using them again. Use them and promise you won't be disappointed.
