Fantastic experience: I love Raquel’s Florist! This is the first time I have ever used them and they are awesome! I placed an order online, and then I called to make sure that they were going to come out nice. I spoke to Carl. He was very very nice. This was a special occasion, it was for my sister’s 75th birthday. She had never received flowers from a florist before. Not that I know of anyway. She was shocked when they were delivered. She even weld up with tears. She said it was the biggest flower arrangement she has ever had. I highly recommend Raquel’s Florist if you’re shopping around. This particular arrangement is one of their most popular, called Abundant Meadow. It is beautiful! These guys rock!

Fantastic experience: I called this florist out of the blue to create a custom bouquet for a friend in Sac. I had a crazy idea - a pickle bouquet with real, edible pickles. The good people at Raquel's didn't bat an eye, they asked a bunch of questions, quoted me a very reasonable price, and sent pictures of the final product before it got delivered. They turned this around in like 2-3 days! My friend LOVED it. Would 1000% trust them with any floral needs. Shout out to Carl, thank you!

Carl helped me and the level of service provided reminded me of the "old days" when businesses genuinely cared about the level of attention they provided. I had been looking for several weeks for a gift to send to my newborn great-niece and the national florists could not provide what I was hoping for. Carl listened to what I requested and then made some changes so as to get it just right! He also sent a lovely note to me after the delivery, thanking me for my order and wishing happiness to my niece's family. So nice to see that this approach still exists!

Negative experience: wanted a single stem gerber daisy. (at safeway they had a bundle for $6.99, but again I just wanted one, and that felt like a waste.) so decided to go to a florist on the way to destination. went in and they literally only had one arrangement of roses and a bunch of plants. asked for the gerber daisy, they had two colors - cool. asked about another flower, they said they only had gerber daisy and roses. everything else was for an event. so got the single stem gerber daisy. $9! so no selection and super pricey.

Negative experience: What I ordered and received for my uncle’s funeral are two different floral arrangement. I was put of the country and could not be with family. Sending this was the best I could show support at the time and this was what they sent. You can’t turn back time, be very weary about this place. Terrible business!

Negative experience: I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Raquel the Florist was so frustrating I felt compelled to warn others. The customer service here is shockingly bad. The person running the shop seems to operate entirely on their own schedule, with no regard for client needs, time sensitivity, or even basic communication. I tried working with them on a time-sensitive order, and not only were they unresponsive, but they also showed a complete lack of urgency or professionalism. It honestly felt like they were doing me a favor just by answering the phone — when they did bother to answer. Deadlines were missed, follow-ups were ignored, and I was left scrambling at the last minute because they couldn’t be bothered to do the bare minimum. The laziness and disregard for clients is astounding. If you value your time, your event, or just basic courtesy, look elsewhere. There are plenty of florists who actually respect their clients and take pride in their work — Raquel is clearly not one of them.

Fantastic experience: So I went in to Raquels to get a birthday bouquet done and as soon I walked in I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. The owner Edgard helped me with trying to figure out how many tulips would fit in the size vase's I bought, oh yeah, he let me bring my own vases to use AND let me add a gift as well!! Anyway he helped me figure out what would look best and he ended up creating a beautiful bouquet of tulips!!! When it came to delivery, he went the first time no one was home then he went back a second time after they had closed to make sure delivery was made the same day!!! They still weren’t home so he had to leave them, but the fact that he was willing to back and possibly go to a different address if needed was the best service I could ask for!! You have a customer for life!!! Thank you again

Fantastic experience: I called and asked for a specialty order. A casket spray and my colors with a ribbon. Not only did they deliver just what I asked for..... I called the day before the funeral. The florist called me back and said we called the funeral home and they informed us that the viewing is today. I said yes at 5 pm. She said we will try to have them there today. When the family walked in the flowers were placed on the casket along with the ribbon exactly what we asked for. They earned all 5 stars plus.

Unfortunately it lead to finding out dark secrets from my ex partner. Nonetheless the flowers didn’t change the outcome of the relationship. Once I placed my order online (after calling and speaking with them on the phone about options and delivery), I was notified of all steps with delivery. The arrangement was delivered on time and placed exactly where asked (I was not there at the delivery time but gave instruction). An overall great experience. I will definitely be using them again.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a destination wedding at a vineyard outside of Sacramento. Not knowing the area, I interviewed several florists and chose Raquel's. After speaking with them on the phone about color palette and flowers, I felt very comfortable with their understanding of our requirements and pricing. We met Carl and Edgard in May and were extremely happy with their helpfulness and professionalism. My daughter was nervous not seeing the actual colors or a sample arrangement, but when they brought the arrangements and bouquets the morning of the wedding, we were blown away with how beautiful everything was. Randomly selecting a florist for the most important day of my daughter's life could have been risky, but I would absolutely recommend Raquel's to anyone looking for stunning, gorgeous floral arrangements. Negative experience: Very disappointed in the spa basket. I ordered the most expensive one because it was my friends 60th birthday. Big bottle of Nivea lotion and a jar of Dove, along with other things. These are items you can pick up from Walgreens for $3, yet I was charged over a hundred. I was expecting better quality. Sure the photo says there will be different items based on availability, but dollar-store quality was simply poor. Won’t ever buy anything from this company again.

Their website was very user friendly, and that's how they earned my business. In just a click of a few buttons on my phone, I was able to buy my mom the most beautiful bouquet of Mother's Day flowers delivered to her work! Had a niece with an emergency brain surgery at UCD and wanted to get something over to her right away and when I called, Carl was SOOOO helpful and thoughtful and sent pics of my choices of balloons and stuffed animals.
