Negative experience: I’m sure 25% of this is my fault but I’m disappointed in the flowers I received for my lady. In my opinion, it was false advertising displaying roses in the shape of a heart but then adding a note under saying they can choose whatever flowers they want…. I wouldn’t have been upset if the flowers they gave me were good, but the ones given to me were already almost dying and a few snapped off before I could even give it to her. I’m grateful, I’m sure they put effort into this, but for $117…I expected a lot more. I’ve purchased roses before in cities like Minneapolis, Chicago, and Charlotte and this has to be the most expensive and non flattering ones I received. Granted. Lady at the shop sort of offered me another set she made, but there were only 6-7 roses in the vase of the others so…$15 a rose that were also almost dead? In my opinion I would stay away and pay a bit more to another shop that actually displays what they sell and isn’t some sort of “dealers choice” for over $100….

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Cary Florist enough! I live out of state and panic-called, initially speaking with Carlee. I told her what I had in mind and she graciously recommended arrangements before we settled on Designer’s Choice. In my conversation with her I knew I trusted them to pick the best options. Fantastic experience: I ordered Purples in Paris (Deluxe) for a friend, as a get well present. I ordered the flowers on a Sunday and they were delivered promptly on Monday afternoon. Cary Florist did a wonderful job on the arrangement. My friend described them via text as "gorgeous, beautiful, and fragrant flowers". She was so happy with them and the card that I was able to get printed and delivered. This was my first time using this florist, but I will definitely order from them again and again.

Negative experience: I’ve ordered online from here several times and was happy with the bouquet and delivery process each time. However, the most recent purchase I made was extremely disappointing. I understand that the bouquet will not look exactly like the photos online, but it had way less stems and was not even close to the fullness of the picture online. I would not have paid what I did if I had known what it would look like. On top of that, they spelled some things wrong in the note I sent with the card, including my name. Hoping that more care can be put into the flowers and cards here in the future.

I called this morning with 10 orders and asked if they could all be delivered the same day—and they absolutely delivered (literally!). Rochelle helped me. Positive experience: Online order picked up on Xmas Eve morning. Flowers in excellent condition, but I was disappointed in the substitutions. Most of the flowers went from deep, rich oranges and reddish-pinks to bright yellows and pinks, washing out the appeal of that darker palette. They also ask online what you want written on a card, but that was not included. I never order flowers online so I'm willing to admit if my expectations are unrealistic, but this type of thing matters to some folks so I thought I'd share.

Negative experience: Really unhappy with my flowers. They look sad and the accent flowers look wilted. They were also delivered an entire day late. I will tell my husband not to use this company in the future. The calla lillies are too large and ugly.

Fantastic experience: Sent the attached bouquet to a coworker for her birthday and thought they did a great job! Bouquet is “rainbow rush” deluxe and was delivered on time as per the date specified when I ordered. Thank you for making her day special! ❤️
Negative experience: Freaking EMBARRASSING to send roses to someone and they receive this! Cheap looking, whack looking, don’t look a bit more fresh than a man on the moon. Look at what I got verses what is on their website. Looks thrown together. Get close look at each rose. Looks like 12 different roses from 12 different countries that speak 12 different languages. Where’s that Pop!? Where’s that freshness!? And is that greenery around the roses or density in a national park!? I’ve sent enough roses over 30 years to loved ones to know how flowers are supposed to look. And this was today they received them. I’m embarrassed for my friend that her coworkers gave to see this. Either delivery what you show…or stop selling flowers.

My friend just had her flowers delivered (Supreme Purples in Paris - Deluxe) and they were delivered on time and absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic experience: I received my second bouquet of flowers from this florist from my daughter. She lives out of town and researched local florists in my area. The first was for my birthday, and the second was for Mother's Day. When she called me for Mother's Day, she indicated that my flowers were delayed; however, she owned up to calling late. She received very nice communication from the florist regarding the delays--she was offered a full refund, or wait until they could produce a quality bouquet (as they had experienced supply chain issues). She opted for the later, and when I received my bouquet today, I was not disappointed! The bouquet is beautiful!!!
Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service. I sent flowers ,chocolate and a little gift, all purchased at Cary Florist, to my wife at her work for our anniversary. I told the florist the wrong date! When I realized my mistake I called the store and they said no problem we will have your order delivered today! Awesome. And yes my wife loved the flowers.
Negative experience: Extremely disappointed in this florist. Ordered Mother’s Day flowers for my mother in law, and when she sent me the picture— I was truly embarrassed. It looked like a $15 Publix grocery bagged arrangement. I sent flowers to an aunt (which was her sister) as well from another company and her arrangement was FULL and beautiful. I would have liked for my mother in law to have the better arrangement. The arrangement that was delivered was no comparison to the falsely advertised one I purchased. I called to try to speak with a manager on yesterday morning for them to make this right, no one has reached back out to follow up. The first one is the one received. The 2nd is the advertisement and the 3rd photo is from another florist that cost less than this place! Never again. I feel so cheated out of this situation and bummed for my mother’s gift. Next time I will just have her coworker to hand deliver her something.

Negative experience: While I understand that it is the week of Valentine’s Day and that a majority of people purchasing flowers are looking for roses and other Valentines related arrangements I was seeking a nice arrangement for a friend who has just had surgery. I went into Cary Florist and they had one mostly wilted, sad looking arrangement in their case with hydrangeas and yellow roses and I was informed that’s all that was available except for the select, overpriced “specials” consisting of roses and and other very basic flowers. Absolutely nothing that had any WOW factor shown. Thankfully I made my way across town to an amazing shop that was fully stocked for Valentin’s Day AND all the other occasions going on this week. Definitely recommend The Flower Cupboard!

Negative experience: Placed an order for delivery including thank you card. They quickly flipped it to another florist to fulfill without completing the thank you card so recipient had no idea who the gift was from. Poor service.

Positive experience: I was delivered a beautiful birthday flower arrangement a few days ago. I am guessing an artificial scent was used to make it smell like fresh flowers and green leaves. This smell was irritating to the nose. That is the reason for the 3 stars

Negative experience: Horrible customer service! We called and the agent hung up on us. Refused to help us with the issue that they have on Apple maps they close at 6pm and offered pick up at 4pm when they apparently close at 4pm. We asked to speak with a manager or even another agent and he refused to transfer. The agent had no active listening and we had to repeat things several times. There was no empathy displayed - purely transactional! Train your associates better and if we don't receive a call back tomorrow, we will be filing a complaint and we want a refund! I don't even want the flowers anymore at this point as I'm so appalled at the level of incompetence this agent had on the phone and the disrespect he gave us.

Fantastic experience: I had a last minute, critical need to send flowers to my son and daughter-in-law in Cary. Because I am in Virginia, I wasn't convinced that any flowers I ordered online would be delivered same day, so I decided to order them locally and picked Cary Florist based on their excellent reviews. Not only are the reviews accurate, Cary Florist and their staff really stepped up to my request for delivery as soon as possible. The flowers came just shy of two hours after I ordered them and they were beautiful, both in arrangement and health. Best decision I ever made! Thank you, again, to the staff at Cary Florist for doing a fantastic job!
Negative experience: I really don't like leaving bad reviews. They forgot the message/card I asked for. Many of the flowers are more than half dead/browning already. The vase doesn't sit flush as the bottom is rounded (easily noticeable defect as the vase rolls around when you set it down). Lastly, it was a same day order so I understand substitutions, but this barely resembles like what I ordered online (2-3 of the same flowers max). I truly feel as though I wasted $100 and wish I went to a different place to pick them out personally, as I've gotten better flowers for half the price. I was hoping they would save the day, but honestly just put me in a bad mood.
Positive experience: Ordered flowers and rose petals for Valentines Day on the 8th. Sitting here on Valentines Day at 11:10pm with no flowers for my girlfriend, and no petals to put on the table for the dinner I cooked. Disappointed isn't the word. I'll never order from here again. I'll be calling tomorrow during business hours for a refund. Update. Spoke with Samantha. She was very apologetic and even reached out to me first to try to make things right and explain. Got my refund and flowers delivered in just 4 hours and for free to try to make up for the mistake. I'll be reserved to use them on Valentines Day again, but I appreciate the sincerity and attempt to right a wrong. I've changed the 1 to 4 stars for such beautiful flowers, wonderful customer service, and quick delivery. Can't do 5 for the stain it's left on this past Valentines Day though.

Negative experience: Ordered a bouquet of flowers for someone and extremely disappointed. Looked liked flowers bought from grocery and stuck into a vase. Not a good look for the price I paid and did not use colors requested either. Vase, flower colors and arrangement were subpar.

Fantastic experience: I found this florist online and picked them because they were close to my son and daughter-in-law's home and I needed same day delivery. I called at noon and the gentleman that answered the phone was extremely friendly and helpful and said it wasn't a problem to still deliver the same day. The person on the phone was very helpful, but I actually ordered through the website (the website was offering free delivery for new customers). I chose the “designers choice” cut flowers (wrapped bouquet) and the flowers were beautiful Also, this was a very nice size bouquet for the price.
