Negative experience: I use to order a lot of flowers and grave blankets with these people now I tried to order some flowers for Valentine’s to be delivered on a Friday because the place won’t be open on Saturday and my wife would be out of town on Saturday and and the lady who took the order couldn’t get my name right I had to spell my name 4 times and she couldn’t get it right finally she got it then she couldn’t get the credit card number right that took three times I asked for the flowers to be delivered by 1 pm on Friday so I finally had to ask my wife if she got some flowers she said no way to go and ruin the surprise of Flowers being delivered, I would never use these people again

Fantastic experience: My family ordered flowers for our mother's celebration of life on Oct. 25th, 2025, and they were absolutely perfect! After looking online I was unable to choose an urn wreath and standing spray that I felt were worthy of honoring my mother, so I went into the store to talk with them about what I wanted. I just have to say how absolutely amazing both Cindy and Kathy were to me. I told them what I was hoping for and they were so patient and kind to me through the entire visit. They helped put my ideas into a cohesive design, and I was absolutely stunned with the beautiful results on the day of the service. I know that there are many wonderful florists in Fort Wayne, but both Kathy and Cindy's comforting words, kindness, consideration, and care meant the world to me during a very difficult time. I cannot thank you two girls enough!

Fantastic experience: I called this morning to get a set of roses delivered to my wife for her birthday. I called a little bit late in the morning and Cottage Flowers Incorporated had them delivered within a very short period of time. The flower arrangement was beautiful and they made me look like a stud and definitely earned me some brownie points. I will absolutely be calling back if I have any more flower needs in the future!

Negative experience: Not the best experience, flowers were delivered to wrong address and they could not get ahold of driver to pick them up so my brother in law had to go get them off someone else’s porch…. Not worth the money for something like that to occur. Employees were professional on the phone however, I should have been offered money back due to inconvenience.

Negative experience: Cottage Flowers does beautiful work! Their website is awful! I made a selection from their website, added to the card, confirmed and paid for it. Next thing I know I have a FTD order! Later I find FTD assigned my order to a different florist. I am disappointed with Cottage Flowers' website and angry at the lack support from FTD.

Negative experience: Paid $60 for what ended up being one of the most pitiful bouquet of flowers I’ve ever seen from a florist. Kroger has $20 bouquets better than this! I paid an extra $7 for two purple butterfly sticks and they added pink instead. Massively disappointed and will never order through Cottage again.

Fantastic experience: Our Church used them recently to send flowers for a funeral, since we are in Chicago we really do not know the area and were ordering through their online service. The flowers that were sent were beautiful and exceeded expectation, they were delivered on time and the family really liked them! Thank you for great service!!

Negative experience: I meant to add this comment months ago. I was a long time customer, over 20 years. I was in their shop and called a couple of times for orders in more recent months and found their customer service has changed tremendously. Felt rushed and not valued. I heard the same from others in my family. I have not been back and would not recommend them for service.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed DO NOT SHOP HERE ESPECIALLY ONLINE I understand that online not everything will be 1 to 1 but what I ordered versus what my girlfriend received for our Anniversary was nothing like what was shown or described online. They did replace the bouquet but literally by adding a few flowers but still is nothing to what was advertised and described online. They told me they use AI generated art to show the flowers they sell which to me is false advertisement and after disappointing me all they could offer was a $5 refund. This place doesn't care about your satisfaction don't come here just go to Kroger and get it yourself ! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM if I could on reviews I'd post what I ordered vs what she received

The arrangement was absolutely stunning, and looks way better than the pictures when I place the order. And on top of that they arranged my message on the included note to better communicate my intentions than the way I had written it online. I've never community service with such attention to detail. Negative experience: This company allowed for a stalker to send unprovoked flowers and a distasteful note to my best friend's home address. Still not sure how they obtained her home address in the first place. After recieving a voicemail telling her that random flowers were left on her doorstep, of course she called to ask for more information. We called prompting for any information on who the sender was, but they refused to provide us with any sender information. My friend even blatantly stated her concern that these may have been sent by a stalker. Not sure if the stalker paid this company off or what but this is a violation of my friends safety and complete lack of consideration of what else may result from this in her life.

Negative experience: Cottage flowers is completely off my list. I gave them specific instructions as they ask for. Neither were followed. I paid $72.00 for a second rate vase with what looked like a small mixture of wild flowers and a bunch of sticks! Never again..!!!

Negative experience: I would give this flower company no stars if i could.....i went in about one hour before they were closed. I wanted a wedding buquet for my wedding in June the older woman that was there didnt seem like she even wanted to help she didnt want to show anything and pointed to a book i could look at. Gave me a number to call Linda but she was busy with prom and i could call her and make a appointment. Such poor customer service i will not be back nor order any flowers From here. I won't want staff like that running the store.

Negative experience: Ordered flowers and the phone number was incorrect. I happened to call in since I didn't hear about the flowers the next day. The lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude. She indicated they had called my friend and she failed to show up that night before and they were expecting her the next day. I followed up on Monday only for a different lady to tell me the phone number was missing a digit so they hadn't been able to get in contact with my friend and they were glad I called in. So the first lady that was rude to me lied and had never spoken with my friend and never stayed after work like she said to wait on my friend. Also, why was I never called and asked for the correct number? Why wait 3 days and hope that I would call? Poor customer service plus you lied to me! I have used this business for 18 years and will not return after the way I was treated!!!

Negative experience: Beautiful flowers…just make sure you say something to them about your note during pick up. The first time I ordered, I did a delivery, and the note was placed in the flowers. Yesterday, I picked up flowers for Valentine’s Day and included a note in my order. I didn’t check before I left but realized it was never included when I got home. I called today and was told I was supposed to write my own. Keep in mind, there’s nothing on the website that says this. It allowed me to write a note just like a delivery order so that’s a little frustrating. I should have been told this by the employees there. Next time, I’ll check my flowers before leaving. Lesson learned. And again, they’re beautiful flowers!

Negative experience: Delivery was great on time, but the flowers are not worth the price. They didn’t look fresh nor full, pedals ripped apart and leaves looked bad. Better bet to pick up flowers at local grocery store.

Negative experience: I have 2 cats and a friend ordered a "cat safe" delivery for me. The arrangement contained flowers that are toxic to cats. I called them to let them now and the response was "whada ya want to do? Return em?" I said no, I just didnt want someone's pet to die because the florist shop didnt know what was toxic to cats. That I was calling so they could make a note of it. Her response to that was "well, she didnt tell us". She did tell them. Then she said "well, it didnt get written down". Rude customer service. No apology of any kind. The result is an arrangement that had to be pulled apart and half of it thrown out, while my friend ends up paying for it.

Positive experience: My arrangement was beautiful and the family loved it. However my service was not the greatest! The young lady who helped me this morning, told me one thing but did another. She stated that my delivery fee would be waived due to an online special but my delivery fee was not waived. Then when I asked her about it she stated that I didn't choose the correct day for my fee to be waived, I explained to her that she never specified that I had to have my arrangement delivered on a specific day. She then got flustered and continued to make up random reasons, when I explained to her that's not what she said when I placed my order. I explained to her that it was ok. I asked that my card gets on my arrangement and for it to be delivered on Wednesday (10/5)between 2pm-3pm. Only for my arrangement to be delivered today (10/4)and not on Wednesday (10/5) like I requested!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I came across this amazing shop by accident. As soon as I stopped in I was in love. The roses last forever. I've had 6 bouquets last over a month!! And they smell so beautifully. So When a loved one passed away I knew exactly where I wanted the flowers to come from. I stopped in just a few days after finding out and was really struggling. Flowers have always cheered me up so I came in to look for arrangements. One of the beautiful employees, I sadly can't remember her name. Helped me find books and hugged me and said a prayer with me. She even teared up. Seeing how much she cared meant so very much to me. I got some ideas and left feeling a little better. When I ordered my arrangements they were even more loving and caring. Helping me in every way possible. The day came and the arrangements were breathtakingly beautiful and everything I was hoping for. They delivered them much earlier than expected too. Negative experience: Placed an order for flowers to be delivered on 2/13/2021. When delivery attempt was made and recipient was not home, I was not notified that flowers were attempted to be delivered unsuccessfully. I only found this out when I called later that same day. I specifically asked that when subsequent delivery attempts are made the recipient is not contacted and instead they call me as this is supposed to be a surprise, to which the employee agreed. And what do they do? Call the recipient to notify that they will leave the flowers by the door. Other issues: -Website clearly states deliveries can be made as late as 8pm when in fact they do not deliver after 5/6pm when it gets dark. Subsequently they went ahead and made an attempt to deliver at 7:30pm after telling me it was not possible to do that. -Owner is rude and clearly cares about profit more than quality customer service, which he confirmed by stated "I am running a business here and I cannot afford to make multiple delivery attempts."

Fantastic experience: I ordered some flowers for my wife (delivered to her work so it would be a surprise). She loved them, and they were just what she needed as she started a new year at work. The delivery was prompt, and the order was exactly as described.

Negative experience: Called here twice. Very rude lady on the phone! Will never order from again. People are ordering flowers and grieving and have to deal with rude staff. Order from somewhere else where there is more compassion.

I have used their services for birthdays, anniversaries, and funerals and I have never been disappointed with the quality of the arrangements. They are amazing at fulfilling your order in a quick turn around and their online ordering service is very easy to navigate. Also you just can’t beat the free delivery. They literally have anything you could need or want in flower arrangements and there is no question I will always use them for any occasion.

Negative experience: This was my second time buying there the first, I ordered 12 classic roses all good, but the second time I ordered devoted to you red roses and they sent the same 12 classic red roses instead of what I'd request. Not satisfied!

Negative experience: The lady that helped me was NOT very friendly! She was suppose to give me one pink rose. Instead I got a red one!! Didn't realize it until after I was at the cemetery. To late to do anything. The next day, called talked to the same women that checked me out.VERY RUDE!! put the phone down. Preceded to talk rude about me that I heard.
