I knew that I wanted to send a peace lily. The website listed a 10" basket. That sounded great. Now, will the plant arrive on time and be beautiful? Shortly after completing my order. I received a call to confirm the delivery location, which further confirmed timely delivery. It did! The plant was full and beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit pricey, but anyone, myself included, would have loved to take it home! It was snatched up before I could take a photo.

My boyfriend loved them, and they truly made the whole occasion feel extra special. The shop’s communication was quick, clear, reassuring and friendly throughout the whole process. It’s tricky sometimes because your card issuer might mistake and block the transaction for overseas purchases, but the shop owner straight away noticed, and they helped resolve it immediately via email. I was extremely thankful for that. It’s rare to find a shop where the reviews genuinely reflect the service, but here, they absolutely do. They definitely would be my go to flower shop from now on. Experiencia fantástica: I recently ordered a sympathy arrangement online to be delivered to family members who live in Philadelphia. The staff was extremely communicative which I appreciated dearly in order to make sure what I ordered was correct prior to making the arrangement. There was a bit of confusion in regards to the order details. Therefore they called to confirm everything. During that call they were also transparent about a not so great batch of flowers coming in so there would be a substitute for some of the greenery. I trusted them to choose the best replacement and I was correct to do so. Apparently the bouquet was so beautiful that the family took them to the event space where the repast was held and displayed them with our deceased family members picture-on the alter. In the future whenever there is an occasion that I would like to send flowers for, I will be ordering from Rothe Florists. I am extremely pleased and eternally grateful that our arrangement expressed everything I set out to express from our immediate family to our extended family during this difficult time. And I thank the staff for making that possible.

Her favorite color is purple and has meaning to her. When I ordered lavender, I assumed it would be purple. While it's beautiful, it's not what I thought I communicated to them when requesting that purple be the predominant color. I do recommend this florist, just be more specific than apparently I was.

Before I didn't care about how my flowers looked, because wedding planning has been stressful enough. I had an idea of what I wanted for colors, but that's it. We went through each bouquet, boutonniere, corsage, etc. so thoroughly and precisely. They were very honest about some of the things I wanted, and how they may be hard to obtain. But also helping me expand on my color pallet and bringing it to its full potential. Not only that but they were honest about some of my design choices. That is always what I want! I'm so excited for my wedding flowers now! You can really tell they love what they do!

Experiencia positiva: Pro: Their online ordering is convenient. I placed an order for a funeral spray from across the country on Saturday for Tuesday delivery. Con: I called to request a photo of the spray a day before delivery and they insisted they had no way to send a photo without disclosing their personal numbers (it’s 2025), and that it wasn’t in their policy to send photos. The employee said he spoke to the manager as well. Extremely disappointing they dismissed an opportunity to do something simple that would go a long way for the customer. Especially when dealing with loss. I hope the arrangement was nice. I just wish I went with a company who would have let me see them. Keep that in mind.

Experiencia fantástica: Rothe Florist is still my go-to neighborhood florist from when I lived in Mt.Airy. Last week, I needed to purchase funeral flowers for my father’s Homegoing Service. Ordering funeral sprays for my Dad was easy since Rothe recorded purchases from my Mom’s retirement fund in 2020. I just needed to order masculine flower colors to complement his casket. I placed the in-person order on Monday for the flower arrangements to be delivered to the funeral home on Thursday. I received an email notification when flower delivery was made on Thursday; the arrangements arrived fresh and beautiful for the viewing at 9:00 and then service at 11:00 am.

They were able to accommodate additions to our order the week of and delivered the flowers ON TIME! I know that may seem like an obvious expectation, but you would be surprised how many vendors do not show up on time to events as such. The centerpieces were beautiful and full with nice fall colored florals. No gaps in arrangement. We will definitely use them again in the future! (I'll keep them in my pocket for personal use too!)

Experiencia negativa: I ordered through Proflowers for the "exquisite" tier of the Violet Caress Bouquet (the most expensive tier, picture attached). Understanding that there will be variations based on local florists, but I paid for an abundant arangmement in a tall vase, like the one picture. In addition, I was charged by Proflowers a $20 shipping/services fee. The other picture is the minimal, small, underwhelming bouquet my wife received. It barely even match the Lowest tier option ("Standard") on Proflowers website. When talking with the delivery person, who was nice, he called Herb at the store, Herb said the bouquet was commensurate with what I paid for after they accounted for delivery fees (Which I already paid for through Proflowers). I showed the delivery person my receipt to prove what i paid, and the picture of what I was expecting, he completely agreed that what I received was well below acceptable from what I paid for. Clearly, the flowers and vase received were much smaller than what I paid for. This is a poor review for both Proflowers AND Rothe. Proflowers for not holding their florists to the expectations they promote to the customer on the website, and Rothe for, what feels like, taking advantage of people that order online, by giving a less-than product than what was paid for. This feels very intentional. Tuesday June 25, 2024 Since there is no way to reply to the response for the owner I am adding to my original review.
