3 months ago Experiencia fantástica: On Valentine’s Day, Rick went out of his way to deliver a gift for my friend’s daughter at Children’s Hospital. He said all the drivers had already left for the day, but he was going to make sure it was delivered. I can’t thank him enough. I know it was the busiest day of the year, but he was so kind, patient, and said, “Anything for kids.” Truly above and beyond service! Thank you SO much!

7 months ago Experiencia fantástica: Shop was very friendly and helpful in selection of sympathy flowers arrangement. Also, the final product was gorgeous. The family liked it so much that it was used on the guest book table. Definitely recommend and would use again.

7 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough about Christine’s. I needed a last minute arrangement for a Sunday funeral service. I tried to place the order online but it was only showing a Monday delivery, which would have been after the visitation service. On a whim, I emailed the shop and asked if there was any way they could get something delivered. The owner emailed me back, went into the shop on his day off and made it happen. This is the type of personal service you get with a small family business and not a big chain store. He even sent me a picture of the arrangement and I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Rick for your excellent service and wonderful conversation while placing the order!

10 months ago Experiencia positiva: The flower arrangement with the cross were very pretty but I expected them to be at least twice as big as they were. I was pictureing the arrangements you see neat the casket at funeral homes. Large enough to stand alone and be noticed. Instead this was something you sit on a end table at the funeral home. I appreciate the care you took with getting them delivered to the cemetery, I just thought for 100.00 plus tax and delivery of another 29.00 it would have been larger. Thank you
Connie, I'm sorry about the sizing issue. I know we have specific sizes listed on our arrangmenents and the Poised with Love "Wow Factor" is only 16" high and 18 3/4" wide. So you are correct, it is something that sits on a table or placed on a stand rather than just placed on the ground. We are always here to answer any questions about our arrangements and help make suggestions on how you want it presented. Again, sorry for the misunderstanding and thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We will try to a better job at communicating with our customers if we think there might be an issue, espcecially when it comes to funeral work. It's the most important part of our business. 11 months ago Experiencia fantástica: Christine‘s University flower shop is the best place to get flowers of all types and their customer service is amazing!! They helped with a fun lost bet I had with my brother Mitch. He pranced into Christine’s university flower shop in a pink tutu, pink feather boa and a dainty magic wand needing to pick up a Rose before delivering cookies to a friend. The staff welcomed him in had him prancing around and twirling every time they said tutu he had to say “I feel pretty oh so pretty” I hear that they would love to have him back and that they will be posting on their social media how much fun they had with #BeardedBallerina can’t wait to see it!! If you need flowers or gifts, this is the place to go! Great value and service!!

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Was very impressed. They were able to get the silk flower arrangement to ICU the next day. She kept in contact with issues getting them to ICU but got it done and confirmed with me they got delivered.

1 year ago Experiencia negativa: Anyone can put flowers in a vase. When I called to place an order, the first question I asked was if there were going to be any substitutions. I was assured there would not be any, it would match the picture. It did NOT. The two key elements were wrong- one missing, one not as shown. Terribly disappointing. Will not use this shop again.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I would give more stars if I could!!! After hours of looking through beautiful arrangements, I finally settled on one to purchase for my Mom's birthday and put in the order for it to be delivered to work. Customer service was above and beyond, I had the pleasure of interacting with Rick, who even added details to the order that I completely forgot to mention. He caught that since I was delivering these flowers to my Mom's school, it would probably have to be delivered before school ended and was sure to update the delivery time for me! We did run into transaction issues (my fault for putting the wrong billing address), Rick was the one who reached out to me to ensure that everything is okay and we quickly settled on a solution. I couldn't be more happy with this entire process and I can't wait to hear my Mom's reaction to her flowers!!!

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I called mid morning today (friday) to order table setting flowers for a birthday party for a dear friend that lives in Columbus. I live in michigan. This was very last minute, to provide a special touch for her birthday celebration on Saturday - I also needed a cake as well. The customer service was beyond impeccable. I worked directly with Rick; when I asked about how I might get a cake at such last minute it made a call and BAM - cake was ordered. He picked the cake up and delivered everything this afternoon. I’m going on a leap of faith, LOL since I’ve not seen any pictures. I would say this is a holy moment in truest form. This owner did not have to do all that he did. If there were 10Stars I would give this florist a 10. I’ll provide an updated review once everything is in place and the birthday person tells me how wonderful of a job that was done.

They called me multiple times with updates on flowers to my friend who was still in surgery and did not yet have a room number. They were incredibly kind and thoughtful and said that if my friend was discharged before my order was delivered they would make sure it got to her home even if they needed to transfer to a different shop. I am so grateful for their attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness.

I try to encourage all my employees to be social butterflies and in our words that means to be kind, but also it means to make sure what we’re sending is getting to the right person at the right place and at the right time. I am from out of state and had placed an order on February 13th for a surprise delivery on February 14th. However, on February 14th at 8 am, I discovered that the recipient would not be in the office and went into a panic mode. Long story short, Christine personally worked with me during all the Valentine's Day chaos, we found a workaround, and everything came together beautifully! I am very thankful for the exceptional customer service and beautiful arrangement that found its recipient. I have used Christine's Flower Shop in the past, and they are my go-to! I highly recommend their services. Thanks!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: As I am out of state, I chose this florist off a list on the internet. I hit the jackpot! They answered the phone promptly and were so friendly. They answered “yes we can do that” to everything I asked. Reasonable prices. Delivered same day. I like how they send an order confirmation email and then a second email upon delivery. Excellent customer service! I would definitely use them again and highly recommend!!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: We live in Iowa and needed to send flowers and a memorial stone to a family member in Bexley. The lady had just lost her father. Service was excellent from the shop and was delivered promptly. Another family member wanted the stone and took it back to Chicago. We were able to get the shop to track down the exact same stone and it was delivered promptly. The price of both was very reasonable and service was great. Steve

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: This shop was recommended to me by a friend of mine as I was looking for a good florist to deliver for some special occasions and the ‘just because’ moments. Safe to say this is going to be my go to from now on! The prices are very nice, the effort that was put in was great, and they were very punctual in delivery. My first order was for a ‘just because’ but I have many more events and moments to prepare for and they’re going to be seeing my name a lot more often! Highly recommend to anyone ❤️

review. I couldn’t of said it any better, we like to do orders, placed based on our customers vision. We are definitely in the crafting business. A great example of this is whenever someone walks in the store and says, do you have anything already made up, we tell them we custom make everything and that it doesn’t take long. We wanna make what people want , not what we think they want.

3 years ago Experiencia negativa: Folk who answer the call was so rude. He was so argumentative. Comparing ukraine and russia thats not connected on the topic. Hahaha so hilarious having people like that.
This person is a Spectrum sales person and he has left seven negative reviews in the last four days for all the businesses that don’t want to talk to him because he is rude, not the other way around. Just pull him up and you can see what he’s done to businesses across the country. I have contacted Spectrum to have him reprimanded for what he’s doing to small businesses all over the country. We expect this post to be taken down immediately it has nothing to do with our business.

I prefer using local vendors when possible. Christine’s Flower/University Flower did not disappoint. Easy to place order. Pix of designs. Would highly recommend.

Specific tulips they had to bring in. They were so helpful, took their time and were patient. My daughter just sent a pic as they were just delivered. She loves them. 4 years ago Experiencia fantástica: My wife was coming home the day I called Christine's, and within hours of my call, just like that, they had a bouquet set for me to give to her when I picked her up from the airport. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was both professional and personal, and I could not be more happy with the service I received from these folks. All I told them was her favorite flower, and they had something put together lickety split. Definitely recommend these Christine's for any and all of your sentimental needs. And in the month of January, no less.
