Fantastic experience: What a lovely florist with the most beautiful team. My mum and I popped in to enquire about bridal packages for my wedding and didn’t realise we needed an appointment, but Angela was absolutely incredible. Such a wealth of knowledge. She was so so genuine, helpful and made me feel so special. She took the time to understand me, showed me different flowers and was so honest. I left feeling so grateful and so excited for my appointment

Negative experience: Hi, a very good friend of mine ordered a very expensive bouquet of flowers to arrive on Friday the 13th Feb 2026 for my birthday. She gave strict instructions re the unit complex and the fact the delivery driver needed to call me when arriving so I could walk the 20 yards to the gate and take possession of my flowers. The woman she dealt with was extremely rude to my friend from the start of the ordering process and to top it off I received no flowers! Even though my friend was told by Angela that they had indeed been delivered! Not only did this woman stuff up my order, she blatantly lied to my friend. I called on Saturday morning and spoke to Kayla and she stated my flowers were on their way. They arrived about 10 minutes later. Does Angela not understand customer service nor an apology or some form of compensation monetary wise to my friend? These flowers were for my birthday. My birthday wasn't yesterday and it took all the niceness for my lovely friend away from doing such a kind thing to be so upset I hadn't got them. Is this woman Angela the owner of the business or an employee? Not that either matters. I'd suggest she attend a course in customer service and an apology is owed to my friend. Do you think you are not going to be found out that there was no delivery to me on Friday and yet you kept the charade up and said they'd been received. It's not hard to say I'm so sorry. It was my fault. I will deduct a portion of the cost of the flowers. If you want repeat business, I'd suggest Angela does this at the very least. Angela sent me a text stating they could not as a gesture of goodwill for the day later delivery, even deduct the delivery fee of $25 for a place that is 10 minutes away from my home. This was because my friend paid by Zip Pay. Perhaps she should contact Zip Pay because a business can get a credit and ask Zip to refund a charge. Just like any other business can refund rhe dollar amount of an order if it arrives broken etc. She states in her text, she won't or can't do this because I accepted the flowers!. Wow! Now i'ts my fault. The flowers were on their way when I called on Saturday morning. She states her grand daughter delivered them. Another lie. It was a young guy who delivered the flowers and I asked him what had happened and why were my flowers not delivered yesterday? He said 'oh I don't know. I'm just dropping them off' I will not be retracting my review and in fact both my friend and I will take every step possible to ensure anyone thinking of using this business, goes somewhere else. Angela has asked me to call her on her mobile. That won't be happening either. I will be seeing if they have an email address this morning and contacting them by email. You can't delete an email. Unfortunately for Amanda all it would have taken was for her to say she was sorry and had stuffed up and offered a refund of the delivery fee at the very least. She's offered no apology to Nicole or to myself. Just a text message asking now I have received the flowers, I do the right thing and take my review off. Sorry, but that won't be happening.

Negative experience: Just received our flowers and reality is extrimely far from what you see on a website for “Candice” option…Not worth it. UPD: Thank you for your reply. I’d like to clarify that I’m not saying the bouquet itself is bad—it is a nice composition. However, I believe the website images are misleading, as the bouquet we received differs significantly from what was presented. As shown in the photos, regardless of the angle, both the quantity and the types of flowers are very different from what was advertised, and it did not meet expectations.

Fantastic experience: Where to begin with this fantastic team of florists led by Angie . Well to start the process of choosing the wedding flowers was professional and so easy with making our bride and groom front and centre with what they wanted . Then easy payment , great prices and then the flowers that arrived were incredible- a mix of Ecuador roses and Australian eucalyptus . Nothing was too much trouble and and service was first class and the flowers were stars of the show . I even had a follow up order to create a special keepsake for our bride . Negative experience: Worst customer experience ever. I called to ask why the flowers delivered to my friend looked very different to what I had ordered? Now I understand that substitutions are sometimes necessary but the flowers were different, the colour tone different & even the packaging?? Angela was very rude & dismissive. When she put the phone down I could hear her comments “this lady reckons we delivered the wrong flowers” & “I put this one together, I know it was nice” I will admit that her attitude resulted in my being just as rude & ending the call in frustration. She then called me back to say “she didn’t appreciate how I spoke to her & that I should apologise for being wrong!!” She also said “I didn’t realise you got the Large not the deluxe as pictured” & kept repeating that I ONLY ordered the $90 arrangement. I get that for some this may not be a huge amount but rather disrespectful to the customer to be made to feel cheap!! Also if both arrangements have the same name shouldn’t the only difference then be size?? Honestly the flowers delivered are lovely but I don’t appreciate the way this women handled my query & turned what was a simple question into an ugly experience.

Fantastic experience: A little over a week ago was our wedding anniversary where I had placed an order and organised for a delivery to my partner's work. On the day of the delivery I received a message from them saying that they won't be able to complete the delivery. I rushed trying to find someone else to get this sorted and managed to get Ange on the phone who honestly saved the day. The team put together a fantastic bundle and I cannot recommend them enough. I'll certainly be reaching out for any future orders within their service area and will be my first recommendation for friends and colleagues moving forward. Thanks again for all your help!

Fantastic experience: My experience with dealing with "Petals on the Plaza" was well above & beyond my expectations I placed an order by phone from 'Christchurch New Zealand' for flowers to be arranged for my best friend without seeing in person the assortment of flowers, I had to trust this Florist to put it together for me and wow my friend was highly impressed when they were delivered the next day to her home. Fantastic experience: Visual and fragrant masterpieces! I chose “Petals on the Plaza” at Springwood to arrange the flowers for my Grandmothers funeral. I was blown away by the care, service and attention provided by all the staff. The flowers, arrangements and perfume filled the memorial chapel with such an array of colours with annuals/ perennials and biennials delicately arranged to became an elegant and unique showpiece. This breathtaking display only fitting for a grand and remarkable lady who had reached the milestone of 101! I only wish I took more photos of the display. Thank you Angela and staff for providing such personalised and dedicated service that surpasses all other florists that I have ever used!

The beautiful arrangement I received for Valentines Day were stunning, and also becoming a 1st time grandparent I sent my daughter in law flowers n gifts and she absolutely loved hers. Negative experience: We won’t buy from here again. The flower bouquet my husband bought was all foliage to make it bigger and only three flowers. They refused to sell him an arrangement of a rose with babies breath in it, told him he didn’t need it. She just pushing you to buy what they want.

Negative experience: Horrible. Usually i love this places flowers and arrangements but today of all days horrible customer service. My partner went to pick me up a lovely batch of valentines flowers as you do and was not at all treated with respect or kindness. Two older ladies were serving her and were scoffing and telling her that she could not purchase some flowers as the display price was incorrect ‘there’s no way i am selling that to you for $89’ Disgusting. They did not honour this display price either as my partner was too terrified to ask thinking she would be asked to leave. The only lady who was kind and promising was a younger coloured haired lady who was assisting my partner at first showing her what was left and where she could pick from. These two ladies were so mean and horrid to this helper as well. The attitude continued with the main i would hope not manager woman who was rude to every other customer who came in. She also made an obvious and loud comment ‘Can everybody hurry up, i want to go home’ 10 minutes before closing. I understand when you want to go home but this is your business and you’re still open. Miss leading and expensive. I will never be returning to this florist as i believe people who sell flowers have absolutely no reason to be this nasty and rude especially on this busiest day of the year. I wish i could leave 0 stars.

Negative experience: The owner is extremely condescending and I have even heard her make comments about people “not having enough money” to shop at her store. Extremely disappointed in the price and service.

Negative experience: Beware the disclaimer on their website that they substitute flowers. My partner ordered an arrangement for me for Valentine's Day that included 6 red roses and 2 were substituted for red gerberas. I provided feedback to the store as my partner was very disappointed when he saw what had been delivered. They offered no apology and advised that because he had ordered through a 3rd party website they didn't know what flowers were to be included in the arrangement. This may be the case, but if allowing customers to order through a 3rd party website means that they may end up disappointed, then as a business you are allowing your reputation to be damaged.

Negative experience: Awful experience. We were sent consolation flowers due to the death of a family member, the flowers were delivered a week late, and we were home but they didn't try to call us to get past our security gate - just left a ratty little slip in our mailbox and left. They demanded an extra $20 fee to re-deliver, and the woman we spoke to was unsympathetic and rude. Had to drive to the store to collect the flowers and they couldn't even supply a bag. Wouldn't ever set foot in this store under any circumstances.

Fantastic experience: I have used Petals On The Plaza for many years. I always like surprising my Mum and Nana with flowers when I visit and this florist never lets me down. They whipped this bunch up for me on such short notice, including the pinks whites and red roses as requested. So happy with how beautiful they turned out on such short notice! Thanks girls!

Angie was amazing, she was so helpful and kind and guaranteed I would be more than happy with my choice of flowers. My daughter received them not long after I ordered them, she even remarked on how courteous the delivery man was. Absolutely beautiful flowers.
