Fantastic experience: Had a super urgent request for flowers this morning for a work function, and they were able to turn this around while I was waiting and met the brief I gave them 100% spot on. Everyone was super impressed with the arrangement and it really added something extra to the foyer.

Negative experience: My brother was responsible for ordering Mother’s Day flowers this year and chose to go through Interflora, who evidently subcontract to Magnolia. Unfortunately, the bouquet my mother received was nothing short of disappointing — it looked nothing like the arrangement pictured online and certainly didn’t justify the $144 price tag. While I understand that some variation is to be expected, especially when not ordering directly through Magnolia, one would still hope for at least a reasonable resemblance. To make matters worse, the personalised Mother’s Day message my brother had written was completely omitted from the delivery. I appreciate that Mother’s Day is a particularly busy time, but this experience was underwhelming at best and frankly not acceptable.

The very kind and patient florist gave me some suggestions and options, and I ended up with a stunning, well wrapped and presented bouquet within the budget I requested. Negative experience: I ordered the 'Pretty in Pastel' bouquet, I used Magnolia Flower Merchants over other florists because I loved this bouquet. However, the bouquet which was received looked very different. Different coloured vase, ugly green plastic wrapped around it, thick tropical foliage instead of soft romantic looking foliage and the flowers are certainly not pastel coloured! I understand flower and foliage availability is seasonal, but if you don't have the stock to be able to produce a similar look or colour, especially when the name of the bouquet specifies a pastel colour pallet, then you should probably remove the bouquet from the website until appropriate stock is available. Very disappointed and I won't be ordering here again.

Negative experience: DO NOT SHOP HERE. My mother ordered an $85 bunch of flowers for me, which looked gorgeous and large on the website. She paid $13 for delivery. When they were picked up, (missed delivery) it was a tiny box with 7 gerberas in it. It wasn’t worth $20. Absolutely disgusted with this service. When Mum complained she received the $13 delivery fee back and nothing else.

Fantastic experience: I needed a spectacular arrangement of native flowers for a very, very dear friend's 50th birthday. I arranged to collect contributions from our mutual friends in Darwin and also in Melbourne. The pressure was on to ensure I made the right choice about where to buy this important gift. Magnolia Flower Merchants was the perfect choice. Sammy's creation was perfect in every way. Sammy arranged delivery to our friend's hotel room on time, and our birthday girl was amazed at how beautiful, thoughtful and spectacular it was. Every guest who attended the party was equally astonished by the scale and the scent from all the native flowers, plants and pods. Thank you Sammy. What an exceptional service.

Negative experience: Actually I didn't even wanna give a star, I aftered a polka dot, and it totally different with the photo, like all leafy.

Negative experience: For my Mum’s birthday/mother’s day I ordered the ‘Lovely Lilies’ bouquet. I called at the start of the week to ask if they had orchids and was advised that although they don’t currently, they will in the next couple of days, so a couple of days later I went into the store to see for myself if they had gotten any in and they had! So I added orchids to the ‘Lovely Lilies’ bouquet which is $74.95 regularly but the price with the addition of orchids was $100. I was so excited to pick up my bouquet that Sunday, however, when I arrived at the florist I was given the bouquet pictured below. I was disappointed that they were closed buds instead of the bloomed flowers in the advertised picture, but I was happy enough that they would bloom at some point and that my Mum would eventually be able to enjoy them, but then I noticed that there were no orchids in the bouquet. When I went back into store to ask them about the lack of orchids, the worker (that i spoke to specifically about orchids when I ordered the bouquet) said that she didn’t think there was supposed to be orchids in my bouquet. Then once she rechecked my order and saw that I had in fact ordered orchids specifically, she backtracked and told me that orchids don’t look good with lilies so she decided to replace them with the green bulbs you can see in the picture below. And to that I ask: Why didn’t you inform me of this when I ordered the bouquet? Why didn’t you call to advise me to change my choice of flower? Anyway, I went home very upset and, since I was working, my Dad went into the store and spoke to the store owner about the issue for me and they advised him that if I sent them an email explaining the situation that they would refund the extra $25 that I was charged for the orchids specifically. However, I emailed them regarding this issue and received an email back saying “if you don’t like the BQ you can return, and we can full refund your money on that day. however, we don’t have orchid for you but we do substitutions as the same value with Green button on to BQ.” - in response to that: you did have orchids. I called ahead of time to enquire about them AND you showed them to me in store when i ordered the bouquet. Orchids were all I wanted in my Mum’s bouquet since they’re her favourite flower and you guys seriously let me down. Seriously, do not order a bouquet from this place, I never will again and will be advising all my family and friends of the same. They cannot admit their mistakes, have no regard for solving customer issues and constantly contradict themselves. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Kathy found my purse in the Galleria Mall and because my phone number wasn't in the wallet, was unable to contact me. Miranda very cleverly did up a poster and put it on a pole outside the mall saying "if you are looking for your purse, please come in and see us at Fantastic Florals and Gifts".......we saw the sign when frantically searching........ needless to say I was extremely grateful that such honest people had found my purse, especially because i had a plane to catch and really needed my ID! Negative experience: I decided to send flowers for my sister's birthday. My online shopping experience is a smooth transaction even though there is no human interaction. Once I filled up and sent my order, I received an e-mail confirmation and FAQs. It was delivered on the intended date and I am happy about it! (No need to spoil the surprise by asking if she received anything) What greatly disappointed me is the flowers itself. On the photo, the vase "looks" crowded with flowers but what my sister received I think one type of flower is missing and they filled it with greens instead of replacing with similar flowers (if the one I wanted is not available) I wish I could attach the photo so you will judge for yourself. But I am not satisfied at all and TBH, I did not find value for my money.

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended I try using fantastic florals after being recently let down by another florist and I am happy to say fantastic florals have delivered a wonderful arrangement beyond my expectation. I am getting married next year and have already placed my order with the owner Miranda. Her help has been invaluable and her ideas on what I should consider for the best effect and value for money as my budget is modest compared to many others I know well earn’t 5 stars!

Negative experience: I ordered flowers to be delivered to a restaurant for my daughter’s 9th birthday over the phone. No attempt to confirm the order was made by the staff and they delivered them the wrong weekend! The restaurant only worked out an hour prior to us due to arrive at the restaurant that the flowers had been delivered the weekend before. When I told the florist, not only did she not care, they insisted it was the restaurant’s fault for not checking. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and couldn’t even apologise! I didn’t expect a refund but at least pretend to care that your customer didn’t get the product they paid for! Very disappointed.

Negative experience: Terrible quality and experience. I purchased valentines flowers for over $200.00 and they started to die within 1 day. Went to the shop and was verbally abused by the owner who tried to blame me.

Fantastic experience: I live in Adelaide South Australia and today I rang Miranda at Fantastic Florals and gifts to get some flowers delivered to my Daughter who lives in Darwin. They were for her Birthday and this photo is what Miranda put together for me. The customer service was fantastic and delivery not a problem. Negative experience: Went there on valentine's day. They had prices listed for their roses, $79 for 6 in a box which was fine by me. I then went to purchase it and was told they'll sell it to me for $100 since it was the last box. Not only that, but their was only 5 roses in the box. I probably still would have purchased it regardless if it wasn't for the poor attitude of both the staff. They took the attitude of "if you're not happy piss off then," even though I was being polite and respectful to them the whole time. I never walk out of shops (or right reviews for that matter) but this instance definitely gave rise for the need of an exception. Please pass if thinking about buying here. most of their product is fake flowers anyway. pretty hopeless for a 'florist.'

Negative experience: Beautiful flowers but will not give you what you want. I was meeting a friend for coffee and had in mind a small bright bouquet for her recent miscarriage, the staff first tried to press on me an expensive box of flowers (no) and when I saw the fresh flowers, refused to make a bouquet and pressed a huge bunch of lilies on me instead (funeral flowers anyone??) I feel ridiculous carting such a large bunch around (and no doubt they’ll be awkward for her too). Not what I wanted in any way, shape or form but the staff insisted. I won’t be coming here again. Staff seem to forget its about giving your customers what they want (heard of asking?) instead of pressing on you whatever they want to sell.

Negative experience: Great selection of floral arrangements and products. But Drove 50 kms as was advised by owner that she always has large selection of roses in required colours. Not 1 pink or white one. Ended up spending hours to locate another supplier in Howard Springs, 50 kms the other way. Luckily as it was for a wedding. My 2 stars goes to the lovely florist who works there who would have relinquished her last half bunch of babies breath to help me out if a fix. And 1 more for the selection of beautiful goods to buy. Be warned. Prices are on the higher end. Great location.

Fantastic experience: I was having a really rough day trying to find a florist in Darwin that had any fresh pre-arranged flower bouquets for walk-in customers. I had tried four other florists and was about to give up until I walked into Fantastic Florals and gifts. I was immidiantly greeted with a smile at the door and the service was more then helpful and friendly. It's wonderful to see a business that takes so much pride in their shop. I highly recommend Fantastic Florals and will definitely be returning for quality flowers and service that I believe is worth paying for. Thanks Ladies!

Negative experience: RUBBISH flowers, RUBBISH service. I rang from Perth to have flowers delivered to my sister for her 25th Wedding Anniversary. I ordered and paid for Watercolour Wishes which show 8 pale pink roses, mauve daisies and stocks and some native greenery, along with $10 delivery the bill came to $85. My sister received OPEN lillies and 3 hot pink roses with some yellow and white daisies and a lot of greenery. She rang Fantastic Florals to complain about the open lillies and received a small arrangement of closed lillies to compensate. What about the original arrangement? When I rang to complain Miranda hung up on me twice, and I got no satisfaction at all. DON'T USE THEM.
