Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with this florist! I ordered flowers over the phone for my daughter who is attending university in Windsor, and they were delivered very quickly. The person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly pleasant, friendly, and helpful, which made the whole process so easy. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and my daughter loved them. I’m very impressed with the service and quality. I would highly recommend this florist and will definitely be using them again in the future!

Negative experience: I usually don't bash a company unless I have spoken with them. I ordered a balloon bouquet with 3 mylers and 4 regular balloons. I went to the persons home less than 24 hours later and all the regular balloons were fallen on the ground. I know that the regular balloons don't last as long but less than 24 hours I feel is unacceptable. I was embarrassed the bouquet look terrible. I have had reg. balloons last at least a couple of days not less than 24 hours.

I walked in the morning of a funeral showing, these ladies were there to help, and worked magic! Not only was their masterpiece absolutely beautiful, they had it at the funeral home for the first showing that day! Talk about going above and beyond! This will be my go to place forever! I can't thank you enough.. And the piece you made was perfect and so beautiful!

Negative experience: We have used Daks Flowers for many years—for our wedding, our daughter’s graduation and prom, and many other special occasions. We have also recommended them to others because of our past positive experiences. However, something happened recently that has left me extremely disappointed and unwilling to ever use or recommend Daks Flowers again. Out of the blue, on September 4, 2025, I received a phone call from Marty at Daks. He said he was following up regarding a delivery order as part of a new customer satisfaction initiative, asking me questions and wanting to confirm that both my husband and I were satisfied. While I found the call unusual (since we’ve never once been contacted like this in 10 years of using their services), I didn’t think too much of it at the time. Shortly afterward, my husband called me to ask if Daks Flowers had been in touch. I told him yes, and that I had just spoken to them. That’s when things took a disturbing turn. Through text, Heidi from Daks threatened my husband, claiming he had canceled payment and committed fraud. She even said the police would be called. They told him they had confirmed with me that the flowers were received and used my “satisfaction survey” responses against him. This was shocking. Not only was this deceptive (pretending the call was a survey when it was really an investigation), but it was also deeply unprofessional. I immediately called Marty back to explain that we are not scammers, that my husband had purchased those flowers for my birthday, and that this was being handled in a completely inappropriate way. My husband then went directly to his bank. They found no record of him canceling anything—and, in fact, no record of him making a purchase from Daks within the last two months. Wanting to resolve things, he even went into the flower shop personally and paid them cash. After more digging, he discovered what really happened: Daks Flowers had made a mistake entering the credit card number into their system. Two numbers were accidentally switched. The result was that the charge hit someone else’s card at the same bank, and of course that cardholder disputed the transaction (since it wasn’t theirs). That’s when Heidi completely changed her tone, apologized, and admitted it was “human error.” What I find appalling is that before knowing the facts, Heidi immediately jumped to accusations, threatened my husband with police involvement, and treated us as if we were criminals. The fact that they obtained information from me under false pretenses, and then used it against my husband, is beyond unacceptable. We understand businesses can make mistakes—everyone is human. But the way Daks Flowers handled this situation was unprofessional, dishonest, and insulting. Because of this, we will never use their services again and will warn others about how poorly we were treated. I sincerely hope no one else ever has to go through what we did.

They were extremely accommodating when I called to make a few changes to a Christmas arrangement viewed on their website, and they made a suggestion that made the arrangement look out of this world. The recipient was absolutely floored by the beauty of the arrangement. Recipient's daughter said it was "breathtaking". Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience, between the staff, quality of flowers, and timing of the order. I had to order flowers 4 days before prom, and they ended up doing an amazing job on everything I requested. Even added gems in the roses. Be aware that the roses on their site for corsages and boutonnière are mini roses as a large rose wouldn’t fit. Amazing customer service and price though!

Fantastic experience: Called Daks flowers all the way from Nunavut to send a bouquet of flowers to a friend in Windsor. Had no pictures or idea what to get and the lady on the phone was absolutely amazing and friendly. She arranged one HELL of a bouquet and it was beautiful. 10/10 no doubt in my mind this is the ONLY flower place to get your flowers from.

Negative experience: Not impressed I ordered online and what I ordered compared to what was received were completely different! I was supposed to be notified if any changes had to be made. I said it had to stick to shades of pinks and purples like the photo, and someone thought orange roses fell in that category apparently NEVER AGAIN!

Negative experience: Dak's provided the flowers for my son's wedding. Everything looked beautiful and fresh and I was very happy at first. Unfortunately Dak's had placed white roses in the bride's bouquet - SPECIFICALLY after being told no roses due to my wife's allergies. My wife ended up with an allergic reaction - itching, headache, stuffiness - when she rode in the same car as the bride. There were no other roses anywhere else in the flower order so this looked like an honest mistake - but this one affected our ability to enjoy the wedding. If the rose mistake hadn't happened this would be a 5 star review.

Negative experience: My husband surprised me on Sunday with a beautiful bouquet (that cost him a pretty penny), we changed the water as he was instructed on Monday, by Tuesday the flowers looked dead. Extremely, extremely disappointing I spoke to my friend who is a florist about this experience and showed her the photos and she said based off what she can see she believes the flowers were frozen.

Fantastic experience: Bought a "cheer-up" arrangement for my boyfriend. They didn't have exactly what I ordered on-line but I immediately received a call and worked out an alternative. The arrangement was lovely, the card matched the arrangement, and was delivered the same day. 3 weeks later the arrangement still looks good, a few flowers have of course been removed, but overall it looks great. Very happy with the service and quality of Dak's. Will order from them again.

Negative experience: I bought from daks for years and now i will never again. I received flowers from there put them on my window seal. They were infested with ants. vase and flowers and all my window seal and now furniture. When called about it. Was told that its something i brought in my house. I just had surgery and have not been out. So that will be the last time i order from here again. They did not handle the issue very nicely.

Negative experience: The place is advertising that they are open 7 days a week and it is open on the 26th of December when I call nobody answer and the answer machine was saying we are busy with other customers so we can't answer your call so I drove there all the way from Tecumseh mall and when I arrive the sign on on the door was still saying OPEN but nobody inside, I knock on the door I knock on the side door I tried to call then I left a message nobody answer

Fantastic experience: When I ordered an Azalea plant on line they called and said three people had ordered them the same day and could I wait a week for the next shipment - pandemic shortages understandable. On planned delivery day one week later they did not come - when I called was told they had called me and were told nobody would be home on agreed day - but they called the wrong house and not me. Understandable delay of additional 2 days with the wires crossed so the plant came 9 days after requested online. In the end the plant was delivered and it is gorgeous. Well worth the wait. Love the personalized positive attitudes of the staff.

I had called last minute to have flowers that day and I was also very undecided of what I wanted. The girl on the phone was absolutely AMAZING!!! I know dealing with the public isn't always easy but she kept her cool and her professionalism incredibly well!!! Now, the flowers....GORGEOUS!!! Exactly what I wanted and more......the more being the Bells of Ireland. This will now be me "go to flower shop" Thank you so very much and the flowers were very much admired and enjoyed by the recipient!!!
