Negative experience: Received hand tied pink hydrangeas roses and tulips for Mother’s Day looked nice but not fresh, day after the roses had started to turn brown and the hydrangeas were very limp had trimmed stems etc not good at all would not want to recommend from my own experience of this florist ordered through interflora

They created a beautiful SISTER floral tribute for my sisters funeral. They communicated with the funeral directors to arrange delivery which they did well in time for the morning of the funeral. Very reasonable price too.

Fantastic experience: Can’t thank the lady working here enough! Faultless service! Walked in day of a family funeral with £10 and an odd request. She sorted me with some VERY beautiful simple fish friendly flowers to put in the sea. If I ever need flowers again, I’ll be coming back for sure.

Negative experience: Avoid this florist as much as possible because the bouquets do not look like the ones in the pictures shown, those bouquets are made just for pictures, the reality is very far from those pictures!

Negative experience: What a disappointment I had today from this florist that I have been going to for over 3 years! Today I went as usual to this florist that after this experience I cannot recommend to anyone. The biggest disgust I had was when I received this mockery in my hand, because I cannot call it a bouquet. I will also attach some pictures of these flowers placed in mockery. The employees said they apologized that they could not do anything about this horrible bouquet! I will leave one star but it does not deserve this one either!!!

Negative experience: Bad experience! My husband gifted me a 6 roses bouquet on my birthday. They looked really nice, and he told me that they'll stay fresh for at least 7-10days. I followed the instructions for putting in vase and flower food. Did everything, but just after 4 days (pic attached), they're withering .. I'm really disappointed! I wanted to take them back to the shop, but idk if the florist will exchange it or not.. it's giving me sad vibes just after 4 days of my birthday as it was such a lovely surprise from my husband and so expensive as well..

Fantastic experience: I recently had a problem with the flower vending machine in west quay Southampton, went to check my bank statement and notice they took it out of my account. Rang Gannaway Florist and spoke to a lady on the phone who was able to sort it out for me. Would use again.

Fantastic experience: I ordered by phone from the US for delivery of a birthday bouquet in Netley. Absolutely perfect service!! Very helpful over the phone, immediate confirmation email, prompt delivery by 10am, delivery confirmation email and receipt, and a very generous arrangement considering the cost, I can't recommend Gannaways highly enough!!!

Positive experience: Nice little flower shop. The working times are a bit confusing as the information on the door hasn't been updated. They work until 4 pm Monday -Thursday and until 5 pm on Fridays. The shop itself is quite small but lovely. They sell flower arrangements mostly and some house plants, though the choice of the latter was quite limited during my visit. The woman who worked there was very pleasant and willing to answer my questions. It's nice to have a local shop like this.

Negative experience: I am not impressed with the service I received about a wedding enquiry. All was ok during consultation but then it took 4 weeks, multiple emails, a pop in visit and finally a phone call to ask for a quote. And the excuse given seems strange, staff not being capable of doing the flowers. Not good enough, shocking service and such late notice. I wouldn’t recommend at all.

Negative experience: Phoned to ask about roses for an anniversary and to be delivered to our hotel to take onboard our ship. Gave a few days notice of request. Was told needed to check with wholesaler as to their availability. Told by the lady that she would check and come back to me. Nothing, no calls or any contact, a competitor not only provided our roses but delivered direct to the ship for us at no extra charge. THAT'S SERVICE FOR YOU
