Fantastic experience: We used Lydia at The Flowerstalk for our wedding, and we were completely blown away by everything they created! Every single arrangement was stunning, and the flowers truly transformed our venue into something even more beautiful than we had ever imagined. So many of our guests commented on how breathtaking the floral displays were, and we found ourselves constantly admiring all of the thoughtful details put into every piece. From our very first conversations to the final result, Lydia and the team at The Flowerstalk made the whole process such a joy. Their talent, creativity, and genuine care shone through in every arrangement, completely exceeding all of our expectations. We are so incredibly grateful and cannot recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Working with Lydia was an absolute dream. The whole process was seamless and completely stress free from start to finish. Lydia was brilliant with communication and always so quick to reply to emails. I was not completely sure what I wanted, but I had a few ideas, and Lydia took these on board and created the perfect flowers for our wedding day. She was really honest about costs and so helpful in finding ways to use the flowers more than once throughout the day, which helped save money and made sure nothing was wasted. On the day, Lydia stayed to help arrange everything, which took away so much stress. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids’ bouquets were beautiful, and the chair ends and table flowers were perfect. She helped bring our vision to life in the best way possible. I honestly could not have asked for more. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

We were fortunate enough to see Lydia’s work at our closest friends weddings, and we knew instantly that we wanted Lydia to do our flowers for our summer wedding. Every step of the way was clear, stress free and communication was excellent! Every tiny detail was taken into consideration and last-minute changes were put into action straight away. There was no pressure at all to add extras, which we really appreciated. I decided to make my bridesmaids’ bouquets myself to help with costs and preordered all the flowers and foliage through her. The whole process was quick, easy, and stress-free and the flowers turned out absolutely beautiful. My Bridal bouquet was everything I’d wished for, the grooms buttonhole were perfect, my flower crown fitted perfectly, but the real star of the show was the broken flower arch. Fantastic experience: Lydia and the team at flowerstalk provided my flowers for my wedding day! On the build up Lydia was so approachable and helpful and even shared some bride tips as she herself was getting married! No question was a silly question! Lydia was very detailed and asked about all my preferences and visions on the day and she and the team smashed it! The flowers were gorgeous and smelt amazing and even lasted a while after the wedding so I could keep enjoying them for days to come! I would highly reccomend for big days like wedding! The flowerstalk is also our local florist and we regularly buy flowers from there and they are always amazing and gorgeous and long lasting!!

Fantastic experience: We just had our wedding 7th August. The whole process from getting our date booked in with Lydia to finalising the little details was seamless. My bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets were absolutely gorgeous as was the church and venue decor. Fantastic experience: AMAZING!! Highly recommend the Flowerstalk for your wedding flowers! I had a consultation with Lydia not knowing much about flowers but with a vision and a few pictures, and she just got it! She then executed everything to perfection and I had SO many compliments on the day. Lydia was super responsive via email and friendly throughout. She was always kind, especially accommodated our meeting for after closing hours because of difficulties around work (which I really appreciated thank you!!) My ceremony was also last minute moved inside due to unexpected rain and they worked efficiently to move it all inside at short notice. All round superstar, you won’t be disappointed and I cannot recommend enough!!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience of using the flowerstalk recently when I ordered a funeral wreath. Lydia was really helpful in showing me the colour options , looking at sizes and styles of wreaths and showing me the vast selection of options they can create - I went for a “loose wreath” ( not your traditional solid colour/ close packed flowers surrounded by ribbon) which was so beautiful I loved that it was unique, looked so natural and elegant. We had spoken to lots of different florists but Lydia just immediately understood our style and was so helpful with suggestions as to what we could re use from our Church service at the reception as I had no idea what I really wanted and what we might need but we ended up with everything I wanted and so much more! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lydia and her team. She was everything we needed in a wedding florist to guide us through the process with sensible prices and always available to answer questions. We also now have her as a florist for everything! Fantastic experience: Lydia provided the flowers for our wedding day 30th May 2024. The flower arrangements were amazing! They looked so pretty and really made our day and decor vibrant and colourful. We weren't to sure what we should be doing and how and Lydia provided us with guidance which was fantastic. We looked through her portfolio and showed her photos we liked. Then through to the run up to the wedding she was lovely to work with, responsive and helpful. She was really experienced and listened to our ideas and what we wanted. On the day the flowers looked amazing and we were so happy, better than I could have imagined. The team moved the flowers seamlessly from the outdoor ceremony to the reception area and the barn looked lovely. After the wedding we gave the remaining flowers our to family and they all looked great even a few days later. When I had my original consultation with Lydia, I walked into her beautiful little shop and said ‘I have no idea what I want, I just know I want whites and greens’. With a big smile, Lydia jumped up from her chair, ran around her shop picking up various white flowers and foliage, and came back to me with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers I’ve ever seen and said ‘what, just like this?’. Fantastic experience: What a treat The Flowerstalk at Dobbies is.. stunning flowers at extremely reasonable prices and first class service from the ladies there who are super friendly and helpful. Lots of parking right outside, a huge range of flowers with gift cards and some lovely additions to your flowers with candles and diffusers etc. I bought a huge bunch of beautiful sunflowers for a friend for £10 which were beautifully presented. I ordered these on a Sunday afternoon and needed them delivered that evening. Usually there are no deliveries on Sundays but the girl was so on top of her customer service game she kindly offered t9 deliver them on her way home. 5 starts for customer service and 5 starts for an exquisite bouquet .
