Fantastic experience: I ordered from William Paul Floral Design online, and the whole process couldn’t have been easier. The website was super user-friendly, and I appreciated how clear the photos and descriptions were. When the flowers arrived, they were absolutely stunning—honestly even more beautiful than the pictures! You can really tell they put care and attention into every detail. Great experience overall, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

Negative experience: My wife and I live Dallas. I ordered 18 red roses to be delivered to Tomalos in Austin for our Valentine’s Day dinner. The florist said that could be done no problem. Tomalos said no problem. We get the the restaurant and my wife’s roses are no where to be found. ??? I asked to speak to the manager of the restaurant only to find out, after calling around, that that the delivery driver left them at a high rise condo bldg down the street? I had to walk out in the rain to go get our roses and bring them back to our table. No communication from the driver or W Paul. ? Horrible experience on Valentines Day. And for this I pay 191.00 ? What a boring arrangement. No baby’s breath. No pizzazz. No nothing added. No ribbon. No Happy Valentines. Never again. One star is way too much. The owner has since contacted me and basically shrugged me off. Offering no remedy or even an apology telling me “ Our records show your roses were delivered accordingly” ? Really? So, I’m making all this up? Typical denial.

Negative experience: This company is a scam. They claim that business deliveries will be completed by 5 pm. It was 6:15 pm when the driver was seen on security cameras showing up to a business that closes at 5pm on Sundays. Security footage also shows him walking up to the building empty handed, taking a pic of the building and walking away without actually delivering anything but confirming that he did and that I received it. Not really sure how I can receive something when no one was there because the store was closed. Numerous calls and emails have gone ignored. Stay away from this so called company.

Negative experience: Avoid this florist at all costs. I purchased an arrangement for my parents’ Christmas gift, and what they received looked nothing like what was shown on the website. When I spoke with the shop, I was told they would issue a refund because “this isn’t how they do things.” However, I later received an email stating that the arrangement must be brought back to the store in order to receive a refund. We live six hours away, which makes this completely unreasonable. See photos for what was shown on the website and what was received.

Fantastic experience: The lady I spoke to on the phone was amazing. She noticed I had an order for sunflowers, and contacted me when she realized her recent sunflower shipment was not up to par. She mentioned that she had noticed I referenced the sunflowers in my card and contacted me immediately to provide alternatives. I was able to wait one more day for the order to be sure I had a great looking arrangement that included beautiful sunflowers. The attention to detail and care to each customer's experience was unmatched. Would highly recommend this company & will be using them again!

Fantastic experience: I ordered Online and had them delivered to my Sister/Best Friend in Round Rock. I never saw them personally, I live in Humble, TX, but my Sister did send me a picture of them when she got them and this Florist did a fabulous job! It was a "Just Because" arrangement to cheer her up and it worked! I will continue to use them from now on. Highly recommend! <3

Positive experience: The flowers are beautiful, but I like to send flowers to my partners workplace as a surprise. I left their phone number as requested (assuming so the delivery driver could call them if there’s any issues), but I didn’t expect a text to be sent to them completely spoiling the surprise. I just wish a warning would be given so I’d have known to use my phone number instead (despite it asking for a recipient’s number)

Fantastic experience: I contacted William Paul Floral Design to create and deliver 3 arrangements for a post-wedding ceremony dinner at a local restaurant. I did this from Oregon mostly by email and they were so kind and incredibly responsive. They worked with me to create 2 medium-sized arrangements for the table at the restaurant and one large arrangement for the bar area. Offered beautiful ideas and were willing to work with me on the vases so the bride/groom got items that they could use in their home. I truly appreciated their help. The arrangements were delivered as promised... and they were stunning.

Negative experience: Sent flowers for a birthday/and loss of life, never received them and left a voicemail to see what happened not answer or return call.

Fantastic experience: *out of state order* What was ordered vs what the recipient received. I’ve never been a fan of ordering flowers online for delivery, but William Paul Floral Designs knocked it out of the park!! I tried to place the order online, but the website was having issues. I put my phone down and decided to try again later. Before I knew it, I had an incoming phone call and it was William Paul Floral Designs. The person I spoke with asked if I was having troubles and was quick to finish the process over the phone for me. I ordered at 9:45am and they were delivered same day at 6:15pm. Couldn’t be more impressed with their customer service or their work! A little spendy, but well worth the cost! Will definitely be using them again!

Fantastic experience: I don't have the time now to do this review justice but since I was asked, I will say this -- I've used 5+ florists over the 15 years here in the ATX and while I've been happy with all, WPFD is notch two above the rest. The "color burst" arrangement really was bursting and what's notable -- it looked just as good in person as the flowers and colors matched the on-line pics to a tee. In my experience, it is rare to see. FYI, no "inside trader" here as I don't know anyone @WPFD nor have I spoken to them -- just ordered on-line. Who knows, maybe they're nasty people -- but I'm willing to bet they're not. Worth noting, I rarely do reviews and when I do, I don't put much stock in them as: (1) I find it hard to filter for quality/bias/veracity of the reviewers and (2) reviewers tend to post reviews when their pissed rather when they're satisfied. So takes this w/ a grain of FWIW. I just wanted to give WPFD Props as it was well deserved. Take or leave it...

I represented several friends in arranging for deliveries to a grieving family, a memorial service, and cheering up a sick friend. Each order was treated with care and delivered as promised. Give this business a chance next time you want to share some joy with others.

Negative experience: Deeply disappointed with William Paul Floral Design. We spent nearly $400 on two deluxe bouquets for my cousin, who is in the ICU after a severe car accident. We even called ahead to request extra care be given to the arrangements. What was delivered looked nothing like what we ordered. When we reached out, we were met with their “replacement policy.” While substitutions are understandable, a substitution policy should not relieve a florist of accountability—especially at this price point. The quality and continuity were simply not there. When we asked for a resolution, the only option offered was a full refund if we returned the flowers in person. None of us live in Atlanta, and my cousin is hospitalized, so this was not possible. Attempts to resolve over the phone were shut down, and we were told to only email. For such an expensive and meaningful order, the lack of professionalism, compassion, and accountability is unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Prompt delivery. Ordering was easy and prices are on par with other larger florists that deliver in a box. I'd rather support local businesses and have them delivered the old fashioned way.

Negative experience: They deliver when convenient to them not when requested and paid for. Lied to me in the email that someone reached out and changed the delivery date. I am the only one who was aware of that order and I for sure did not change the delivery date. Tried calling but they never answer calls! Very disappointing because flowers were delivered a day too late and I was charged for it!

Fantastic experience: The team put together a really beautiful sympathy bouquet for a friend of mine who lost her dog to cancer. The florals were more beautiful than I could have expected and I really appreciated the human touches. They hand wrote my note on a card and chose one that reflected dogs going to heaven. It made everything feel so much more personal which I was grateful for.

Positive experience: My best friend was getting married in Austin and I unfortunately wasn’t going to be able to attend. I wanted to buy her wedding bouquet as a gift and had called at least 5 florist shops in Austin and surrounding areas. It was difficult finding a florist because of busy travel schedule. William and Paul floral design had tremendous customer service and was able to have them delivered just in time. What was a very uncertain and stressful situation was turned to a positive and beautiful one. My request was for a cascade of eucalyptus and five white roses. Thank you so much for you help and flexibility.

Positive experience: The beautiful flowers were a surprise for my Sister’s promotion. They arrived at a decent time. She/recipient told me that she kept getting text messages. However, when I entered her number online for the recipient it stated “it would be used in case there were questions or something in regards to the delivery”. This was misleading and ruined the surprise.

Negative experience: Unreliable and unaccountable; complete fail. Ordered flowers to be delivered on Mother's Day. On the day of, I got a notification that they were on the way to be delivered and then another one confirming they had been delivered. Both notifications were false. The flowers never arrived. They didn't answer phone calls nor respond to my email asking if they could deliver the following day since they missed Mother's Day. Incredibly frustrating and embarrassing.

Not only was I lied to about the size of the flowers but I only received one balloon instead of three for my Mothers day gift, Additionally, the design did not match the photo on the website. Small $10 dollar bear three ballons which only 1 was sent and this very small premium bouquet plus tip I ended up paying $208!! definitely do NOT recommend!!

After a frustrating experience with another unnamed Florist…where my anniversary order (flowers, chocolates, and a balloon) never showed up—I had to cancel and scramble to find a local shop that could help me last-minute. With a couple google searches I found William Paul Floral Design. I called them this morning, explained the situation, and asked if they could help save the day for our 21st wedding anniversary. Not only were they incredibly kind and understanding, but they also created a beautiful arrangement and had it delivered to my wife in less than 4 hours. It was everything I hoped for and more. Their service, speed, and quality completely blew me away. Thank you for turning a mess into a memorable moment. I’ll never use that unnamed Florist service again—this local gem has earned a customer for life!

Negative experience: My sister ordered me flowers and Balloons from this company and used Favor to deliver them, i never received them. Instead of giving to the nursing staff on my floor they left my flowers on the floor in the lobby. My sister tried contacting them several times but they made excuses. Please Do Not use this company! My nurses & chaperon all looked for my flowers but never found them. Either they lied or the delivery guy stole them. This is where the delivery guy left a $144 order. Very incompetent

Negative experience: I ordered the "Wonderland Deluxe" and received a bouquet that was 80% lemon leaf and half of the flowers were limp. Some of the delphinium had what appeared to be dead ends and after multiple days, none of the flowers have opened up as the card indicated they should...Definitely not worth the $200 price tag after delivery.

Positive experience: UPDATE: i am updating this rating from a 1-star as the store is working to resolve this. Hoping to have flowers tomorrow! I ordered flowers for same-day delivery at 11am today. At 2:38pm today i got an email saying it was delivered at 2:15pm but my flowers are nowhere to be seen. Email says “receiver notified” but I never received a single call or emails. I contacted my property manager and scoured the whole area but no flowers in sight. In addition, the store closed at 2pm and my delivery was supposedly completed at 2:15pm so I cannot even get help with my missing delivery! I have called, emailed and messaged via instagram to no avail. My first purchasing - sharing here in hopes they will reach out with some kind of resolution as this has been an awful experience for such a special thing.

Negative experience: They failed to deliver the flowers I ordered and then have failed to respond to multiple attempts to contact them about rectifying the issue. I would absolutely never use them again.

Negative experience: Huge disappointment, ordered flowers to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. They never arrived. I would have a difficult time trusting this company with ANY important event in the future. Then they weren’t answering the phone, so I had to actually go to the physical address the following day to find out what happened. They told me how busy they were that day…they use a delivery service and it was their fault..they might have delivered to the wrong address.. blah blah blah.. If you can’t keep up with the orders .. DON’T TAKE THEM !! In fairness they did refund the money, but that’s not the point. Any event I buy flowers for is something that can’t be replaced with a refund. It is the day, the event is time of life that you can’t get back..no refunds on that.

Fantastic experience: Both times I've ordered from William Paul Floral Design, I've been sent pictures of what's been delivered and both times it's been exactly as pictured on their website. I don't live in Austin so I felt very lucky the first time that they were true to site so I went back the second time with the same beautiful results and that's why I'll continue to use them.

Negative experience: Awful! Awful! Awful! Buy your flowers anywhere but here! $150 bouquet dead in two days. Embarrassing to have sent it to my 80-year-old mother for her birthday. when I told them, their response was Flowers die basically.

Negative experience: First issue is they ruined the surprise by texting Mr girlfriend she was receiving a delivery and second the flowers started dying after just 2 days. These were for Valentines day and are now basically dead. They had water and care to no avail, flowers from HEB last longer for a fraction of the price!

Negative experience: I got a Valentine bouquet from this florist and was so not impressed. The arrangement was sloppy and greenery was stuck in vase with no thought. HEB would have done a lot better for the money they charged

Negative experience: Do not order from this florist. I placed a large order of flowers for a dear friend's mother's funeral. They delivered only one arrangement instead of the 10+ ordered. In a scramble we picked up the remaining 10 that were still sitting in their store and nearly missed the event. In my follow up communication with them requesting an explanation of what happened, this is what they sent: We cannot explain. Things happen.

Negative experience: I was not happy with the flowers I ordered for my cousins funeral. I ordered a specific arrangement and what I got was nothing like the pictures. I emailed them and I got a very curt and what I considered rude message back stating “ you ordered this and that’s what you got”! If I could post what I received compared to what I was supposed to get side by side I would have but I don’t see any options to post pictures, maybe that will come up after I post this. I got no offer to help handle the situation or to make it right and they don’t receive phone calls so all you get is a recoding and then it hangs up, there’s no real person to talk to. So for 69.99 ( $102.00 with tax and delivery) I got flowers that I could have picked up at HEB for 29.99-39.99 and I would have received better quality and better design arranging. I wouldn’t recommend this florist, their customer service skills are lacking and their quality was not what was pictured.

Fantastic experience: Worth every penny! I live in Arizona but I send my partner flowers each week. Spent hours on google looking for a florist in Austin area and William Paul is HANDS DOWN THE BEST!! Not only do they have the biggest selection, their arrangements are absolutely gorgeous and you can get them in different sizes! Asked if they would be able to delay my delivery and got a response in less than 10 minutes, very accommodating and professional!

Negative experience: I ordered this balloon bouquet for my son‘s birthday. He lives in Austin and I live four hours away. I thought it would be a nice for his birthday. However he received a bouquet of flowers instead of the balloons. I have tried multiple times emailing and have not gotten a reply. I’ve tried calling on the phone and a message states that you have to contact them through the Internet, which I’ve tried by emailing. I realize there’s not much that can be done at this point, but I would appreciate an explanation. I will not be using this company again. I was very disappointed in their customer service or should I say lack of customer service.

Negative experience: If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. But, it is not an option. I ordered a $200+ floral arrangement from William Paul Floral Design in Austin. I ordered it in the morning for same-day delivery. I needed it for friends who were hosting a party for me the following day. I was staying with these friends for the weekend, so I was able to monitor the promised delivery. I received text updates that the flowers were in route. I tracked the delivery person, but he never got close to the house and at one point seemed to be stationary for quite some time. I thought that was odd. Then i got a notification that the flowers were delivered and a picture that was proof of delivery. The picture, which included a resident picking up the flowers from the stoop, was of a different house. We never received the flowers. The address was absolutely correct, yet our flowers were delivery to a different house. I texted the delivery number of the person who was supposed to be delivering according to the text notifcations, and someone responded and sent me a screenshot of his delivery list, and our address nor our order number was on the list. He said to reach out the florist the next day. I reached out the next day--Saturday--and they were supposed to be open. I probably called 15-20 times--no one answered. I kept getting a voicemail message that said to send a message on the website if I had an order issue. So, I send an email to the address on my order confirmation, as well as a submission form on the website. i didn't hear back from anyone until the next day, two days after my order, and they said they'd get a replacement arrangement out immediately. I told them I no longer needed the arrangement, as it was for an event that already happened, and so please cancel my order. They refused to cancel the order, citing a clear policy on their website of no refunds. But, as a customer, it seems like that policy should only apply if one actually receives the item that they paid for? I asked to speak to a manager, and the respondent continued to maintain that they would not refund. They were flippant and condescending in their reply. I never received a refund and I never received the flowers I ordered or a replacement order. Yet, they still charged my card $205. I am in the process of disputing the charge with my CC company and filing complaints with the BBB and the Texas AG's office. But, FYI! Be warned. This business is either a complete scam OR they don't care one bit about their business. Do NOT order from here. Plenty of other good options in Austin.

Negative experience: I ordered a flower arrangement for a friend who just had a baby. We ordered the lavender - have bouquet at the premium price point. What we got was not like the picture at all. I was so disappointed because I really wanted something special for my friends first baby and it was not we I was expecting at all. I emailed them to discuss options and express my disappointment and they responded once and never responded again. I just felt that was so disregarding to their customer. I unfortunately would not buy a bouquet from here again. Ive attached a photo of the bouquet on the website and the one that my friend received.
