Fantastic experience: I have ordered from this establishment multiple times over the years - with the recent being the last Valentine's Day - and they have exceeded my expectations each time. The flowers that I have chosen have always arrived timely; and they look better in person! Mind you, the pictures are gorgeous. Lastly, each time I have called them directly, and regardless of whom I have spoken too, they have always been polite, courteous, prompt, and professional. Keep up the outstanding work.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time !! I reached out to this company hoping to get a preliminary estimate based on inspiration photos and basic wedding details, which I clearly provided in my initial email. Unfortunately, I received follow-up questions asking for information that had already been shared, which felt repetitive and unnecessary. When I clarified, I was told they could not provide any meaningful estimate without a full consultation and several finalized decisions (dress, floor plan, full wedding party count, etc.). While I understand the need for details, many other florists were able to give helpful ballpark ranges at this stage, which made this process feel more rigid and corporate than collaborative. Overall, the experience felt less flexible and less supportive compared to other vendors I’ve spoken with. This may be a good fit for couples who are very far along in planning, but it wasn’t a great experience for someone in the early stages looking for guidance and transparency.

Fantastic experience: Amra is incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and creative for my wedding reception! From the very beginning, she took the time to understand my vision and provided wonderful suggestions for the flower décor and overall setup. After I showed her my dresses and color theme, she recommended centerpiece designs that complemented everything perfectly. I also shared photos of the flower arches I ordered for the sweetheart table, and she thoughtfully designed a matching centerpiece to tie everything together. On the day of our wedding reception, Amra had already set up the sweetheart table centerpiece beautifully—well before the other company arrived to install the flower arches. When I went to check on the arches, I was disappointed to see that the company hadn’t added the greenery we had agreed on. While I was back in the bridal room getting ready, Amra stopped by to let me know that all the guest table décor was complete—and she mentioned she had some extra greenery. She had overheard my earlier conversation and kindly offered to add the greenery to the arches herself. That small gesture made such a huge difference! The greenery brought everything together and made the setup look complete and cohesive. Amra, thank you so much for going above and beyond! You could have easily packed up after finishing your part, but instead you stayed to make sure everything looked perfect. Because of your care and attention to detail, my wedding photos turned out beautifully—and my vision truly came to life.

The lady here was so nice, saw my vision and gave me a beautiful bouquet for my wedding in the span of an hour. Prices are reasonable. This level of customer service is so rare now. Fantastic experience: I needed to send flowers for a funeral but am located in another state. I looked at the neighborhood where the funeral was to take place and located the nearest florists (thanks Google!). I read the reviews for Scent & Violet and knew this was where I would order from! I called and described what I wanted and the woman who I spoke with knew exactly the vibe I was looking for. I received a photo of the flowers before they left the shop, then another photo of the flowers in their delivery destination. What excellent customer service! I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to use them again.

Negative experience: I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My fiancé ordered a $200 bouquet from this place for my bridal shower. When he called to place the order, he specifically said that this is for a bridal shower. He agreed with the girl he was speaking with that this would be wrapped rather than put inside a vase so that we could take pictures holding the bouquet. When he went to pick it up, the flowers were in a vase. He told them that he asked for it to be wrapped and they pretty much said too bad, this design is meant to be in a vase. Why they decided to do that design WHEN HE SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR IT TO BE WRAPPED is beyond me. I had to intervene, and only after raising our voices did they agree to wrap it. Then she went on to lecture my fiancé, stating the occasion should have been made clear, which it was, and that he should have specified to wrap it, which he did. Please save your money and DO NOT go to this florist. There are so many florists around this areas of town that do a much better job for a lower price, while giving customers what they actually ask for.

Negative experience: What I ordered vs what I got .. I just ordered flowers again for another family member from a different company. I paid the same price (even 20$ cheaper) for 24 whites roses. These are not worth the prices for this little flowers and it’s not as full as the website. It should definitely be 50$. I kinda felt embarrassed sending these that I’m resending more tomorrow.

Fantastic experience: I am in California. I was so glad to have found Scent & Violet to help with a funeral wreath. My wife was visiting Hong Kong, she called one night that her aunt in Houston, TX has just passed. She wants me to help with sending a funeral wreath for her aunt’s service in Houston. She said it would be nice if I could include a banner written in traditional Chinese characters. I am not good with Chinese writing so my wife had to forward to me the Chinese characters to send to Scent & Violet not knowing if they can do the banner in Chinese or not. This was the Easter weekend. Crazy logistics in a tight schedule. I contacted a few floral places in Houston but have gotten no response except from Scent & Violet. The Scent & Violet website was very easy to follow. More importantly, the pricing was clearly stated. Susan was most helpful in answering all my questions in multiple emails quickly. She made some very good suggestions. She was able to do the banner in Chinese exactly the way I wanted, sending photos to me to make sure that it is the way I wanted. She also sent me a photo of the finished wreath & banner upon the delivery to the funeral home on the day of the service. I also recommended to our other relatives to go with Scent & Violet for the same service. All in all, our family was very happy with the whole process. I was helped ease to select a spring choice with white roses accentuating the arrangement! They could not deliver since I ordered on short notice but it was worth the drive!!
