Fantastic experience: My absolute favorite flower shop. I live in Jersey, but was born & raised in LA & all my family & friends are there. I have ordered from Allen’s multiple times now, for happy occasions, and unfortunately sympathy ones like this last older. The flowers are always fresh, arranged beautifully and delivered in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!! Update: Years later, and I still only order from Allen’s Flower Market. The picture was for my mom’s birthday. They are the best flower shop I have ever come across and will continue to use for all my bouquet needs.

As the florist was putting together my bouquet she even recommended I choose a few different flowers bc the ones I chose were wilting. Also TONS of Mylar helium balloons to choose from. They open early too. You can also sign up for their club card and get points towards a discount in future.

Negative experience: I was not notified when the delivery was made. I called at end of day, the only thing the LA office could tell me was that the driver marked it delivered. They couldn’t tell me a time it was delivered, if it was handed to the recipient or left at the door. The driver did not notify the recipient that a delivery was left at the door. I had to reach out to the recipient and ask them if they received the flowers. I think the customer service could be a lot better!!

Positive experience: I would give Allen’s a 5 star rating for the quality of the arrangement and the fullness of the flowers, but there were some delivery issues. I ordered a deluxe standing sympathy arrangement to be delivered before noon on Saturday to a church in Hollywood where a memorial service was being held. I requested that the flowers be delivered inside the church in the main sanctuary area, and placed in front of or near the altar. Even though the front gate was open and the church was open long before noon, they left the flowers outside in front of a back fence in the parking lot. They never made it to the memorial I purchased them for. Happily they were discovered the following morning and brought inside for the church service, so all was not lost, but I was very disappointed.

Therefore, it’s the oldest business in the area. They offer a breadth of flower services for birthdays, weddings, special occasions and more. Moreover, their flowers are vibrant, phenomenally fresh and beautifully arranged. Prices are competitive and fair. Overall, it’s a great flower shop. I recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Skip the grocery store and come straight to Allen's for flowers and wonderful service. I needed a bouquet for a friend same day and walked in off the street. Olen (hope i got that right) helped me with everything. He explained arrangements vs bouquets, how they price things, and how to even present flowers depending on the occasion. I asked if he could create something for $35 and he created a gorgeous Lily bouquet for exactly $35.03! There's a reason you go to a professional! Other info: The parking lot is behind the store which you can enter from Glendale Blvd. Have an idea of what colors, fragrance, and flowers you may want and they can help you decide.

When the delivery person couldn’t fine anyone at the theater to leave it with - I called to see what was happening and I was able to talk to someone who assured me they would re attempt the delivery. Negative experience: I am very disappointed with the service I received, my flowers are supposed to be delivered before noon. They were delivered at 1 o’clock. The recipient was not notified. And a verification photo was not sent until 330. Well after I called to verify they were delivered on time. They said there was a mixup because I put LaCanada and the address comes up in Pasadena but JPL is a landmark in the area so when you put it into your GPS search, it automatically comes up so there should not be a problem or mixup. When I called about the delivering the flowers, Andrew was confrontational and defensive, even though he was aware of the situation when I said JPL he automatically knew where I was talking about in the procedures that they have so to sum it up I would not use them Again

Negative experience: I ordered a dozen roses for Valentine's Day on February 4th. I figured that would be enough time that if there were any issues before the 14th, they could be addressed. First off, I noticed that their prices were high, although they were lower than other florists in the downtown LA area. With delivery and an up charge for delivering before 5 PM (why is this a thing?) it was about $130 for a dozen roses. I know things are expensive on Valentine's Day but that seems a bit much. I figured at least with the good reviews there shouldn't be any issues ordering from here. I was wrong. The first issue I had was with the ordering process itself. Luckily, I screenshotted the order confirmation with order number because they did not send any confirmation email confirming the order but they were quick to charge my card!. As soon as you check out with the ordering process, they say they're going to send you a confirmation email, but I never received one. I checked my spam folder and nothing. I figured I'd give it a couple days just in case they're slammed for the occasion. I never received a confirmation email at all. The day before Valentine's Day I decided to shoot them an email to confirm that there were no issues with my order. I never received a reply from them. On Valentine's Day, I started calling them and left them a voicemail since nobody answered the phone the numerous times I called. I never received a response. Finally, I received an email of the flowers being delivered about an hour and a half after delivery. If that were the end of the issues I could live with that. The problem is that according to my girlfriend, who works with a bunch of executives in her job, the delivery person looked like he just rolled out of bed and was wearing pajamas to make the delivery. That's not a good luck for a company to have their delivery people looking like that to deliver to any location, much less a location with executives present. On top of that, when I finally got to see the flowers that evening, I noticed that many of the rose petals were black around the edges. I've never personally seen that myself in the past and I've sent a lot of flowers over the years. I let it go because my girlfriend didn't seem to be bothered by it and definitely didn't mention it... until today. She noticed. She was disappointed. I don't think I will be ordering from Alan's Flower Market in the future.

Fantastic experience: Allen’s encountered a few issues but came through in the end. That’s the sign of a good florist. First, my friend was in ICU so the plant could not be delivered. Then Valentines Day frenzy was a barrier to responding to my emails. Then, my friend was transferred to a hospital that didn’t allow plants. So, Allen’s upgraded my order to cut flowers and delivered them. Unfortunately the hospital didn’t give them to my friend, but Allen’s couldn’t control that. So, in the future I’ll use hospital gift shops. Kudos to Allen’s for completing my order!

Negative experience: order flowers to be delivered to my partner at their work on valentine’s. Allen’s delivered the flowers at 8am by calling my partner over and over and over at 8am in the morning. and then just left them on a table outside the office. their response was that it wouldn’t make sense to deliver the flowers later (like when a business is open) because it’s valentine’s. I really thought they had delivered flowers before and knew what they were doing but no…no they do not.
