Fantastic experience: I do a lot of entertaining and think about flowers before food. A beautiful table is essential to me. French Florist simply doesn’t disappoint. Every arrangement I have received has been elegant with abundant and healthy flowers. They are arranged with an artistic eye, balanced without looking formulaic. The arrangements I send to others are always well received. I cannot praise this florist enough.

What really blew me away was her kindness and efficiency..I came in with a last-minute request just one hour before closing, and she didn't make me feel rushed at all. When they realized they'd forgotten to include the card, they didn't call to apologize. They drove back to the shop, printed it properly, and returned with the card and a complimentary box of See's Candies—a gesture that said more about their standards than any review could. This is why The French Florist stands apart. Not just because they're professional and courteous—though they are both—but because they understand that flowers are a language, and they are fluent. Fantastic experience: Was so impressed with the French Florist. They created a spectacular arrangement of dendrobium orchids and delivered “same day” despite it being a holiday. My niece was overcome and her birthday complete. A wonderful resource for online floral designs.

Negative experience: Disappointed. I ordered from French Florist expecting high end quality, but what was delivered was a wilted, dried out arrangement. The bouquet was significantly smaller and cheaper looking than the photo advertised on their site. Very poor value for the price. I spent almost $200 and they look very sad next to a bouquet of roses I bought for $30 at Ralphs on the same day. Won't be ordering again and suggest you find a different florist.

Fantastic experience: My two daughters live together in Huntington Beach, CA. I was personally unhappy with another florist we used for many years. I searched and reviewed several florists in their area and French Florist came up on top. They were thrilled, as was my husband and I, of the Valentines bouquet. Their first question was, “Oh my goodness, Mom and Dad, how much did you pay?!” It was just beautiful!!!

Negative experience: Delivery is not trustworthy. Multiple times I have experienced deliveries not making it even the same day that was selected - And that's even after paying an upcharge. Unfortunately all of my corporate and personal floral business will be going else where.

Fantastic experience: When you want to send flowers, have them carefully deliver artfully crafted floral arrangements, it is quite difficult to have those expectations contacting random florist through a Internet number - which is why I am happy I have experienced The French Kiss of an arrangement and a reliable first hand delivery locally in not so nearby Hermosa Beach…my wife was enduring one of “those days” where things are challenging so time for a French Kiss from you wonderful people!! Put a smile on both of us, even 3500 miles apart. Thanks as always - you guys do it so right from order to delivering a product that lasts. Until the best delivery!!!!

Negative experience: I ordered flowers for $327.50 for my grandma and her assisted living facility said they arrived in a wet unmarked shipping box with no company name or cute packaging you would normally get with expensive florals. They had a wet card and the staff said they looked kind of disheveled.” The customer service rep did not help make it right. She took a full day to call back and sent me a photo of the supposed delivery and they do not look big like what I ordered, but more like a cheap, unimpressive copy that I could have made for $50. The facility said they cannot remove the box after having 3 people try to remove it. What a let down!! I asked for either a replacement, or for someone to go to the assisted living facility to help with the box, or a refund. She said NO to all. I came on here to see the other 1 star reviews and it’s obvious this is just how this place rolls. It’s not worth the headache. My grandma fell at her assisted living and I sent these to her only to have her more stressed since she told my mom she can’t see them because the box is so wet they have to keep them on the ground.

Fantastic experience: This is my third purchase from French Florist. Their arrangements are like works of art. What I find even more amazing is how the arrangements actually look like the photos on their website. They never disappoint and make ordering stress free. Not to mention their customer service. The staff is always helpful and friendly. ♥️♥️♥️

Negative experience: Buyer beware! Flowers won’t come, they don’t answer phone or email for days. Never delivered my flowers for a friends birthday. Emailed them for 4 days after I paid for that delivery date. They then finally emailed they would refund the delivery fee. This company is a joke! Run!

Negative experience: Arrangement was delivered and less than 14 hours later some flowers turned brown…I sent pictures to the florist as they requested, they agreed the flowers were not up to their standards and they would be replaced..it has been ten days and they have not been replaced nor have I received any communication. I would not recommend this florist…

Negative experience: This is the third time I’ve ordered from French florist and I’ve given their shop the benefit of the doubt but every time I order from them the arrangements look nothing like the picture and the flowers are delivered in poor condition. They use dead wilted flowers and it’s not worth the price. Look for a different floral store that will deliver quality for price.

Negative experience: French Florist - “Tie Your Own Damn Ribbon!”™️ I came here from Ralphs at 5pm on a weekday, hoping I could spend $40-60 to find something that was perhaps a bit more elevated than Ralphs. This experience made me want to apologize and kiss Ralphs’ toes for ever doubting them. I walk in to a flower shop with its doors open to the public, looking for flowers as one does, and the staff treat me like I walked in and ordered a buffalo burger with a sardine milkshake. I say I want a bouquet. I’m led to the fridge. There are two bouquets. Two. At a highly rated flower shop, 3 hours before close time. Am I even at the right place? $65 and $75. Both options are so basic and lackluster that I should have gone even cheaper than Ralphs and gone to Trader Joe’s instead. Nobody helps or asks what they can do for me. Do you guys not make bouquets? I’m confused and feeling waves of anger and regret washing over me. I need to go to the airport soon with these flowers. Sadly enough, the person I was buying these for had recently ordered an arrangement for me from this very place because she lives abroad. After seeing the reviews here and what $150 gets you at FF, it broke my heart knowing she likely paid well over $200 for an amateur arrangement that began to reek after two days. In hindsight, I should have walked out at this point. They obviously don’t cater to people who want to buy flowers. And then another interaction that had me wondering if I was at a gas station, a post office, a dive bar, literally anywhere but a flower shop. I ask if the stems can be covered with plastic so they’re not exposed. Sorry? I have to hand this to someone? Is this not what bouquets are for? Am I the first person to do this in the history of flowers? The associate unties the tiny, unflattering ribbon. (How does red ribbon even match these colors?!?) She puts a bag even more unsightly than the free plastic at Ralphs. She ties the ribbon worse than a third grader and feels no shame in handing it back to me. Boss gets involved and they cut ribbon and hand it to me. I’m supposed to tie it at home. I’m apparently the first person on planet earth to want plastic on a bouquet and want some minimal decoration to make the bouquet worth $75. I obviously won’t be coming back and I will be spreading the word to protect others from the shame and frustration I felt in this interaction. Best of luck in your business.

Negative experience: If this isn’t near you. Do not waste your time . Find something more convenient. I went early on this day because I saw a nice bouquet online. Their posted hours online said they were open for business. I got there about half hour after they were supposed to be open and after a back and forth through a locked door rude and unskilled staff told me no designers were present … after they made a phone call to open the door for me . It was just messy and very frustrating to zoom across town for this level of ineptitude and unpreparedness during active posted business hours and then be subjected to a very rude front desk guy who took my frustration for anger (I stated to him more than once… I know it’s not your fault::: I’m having a hard time with with experience because of how far I came and to be this disappointed ) or something so started verbally lashing out at me because he was quote “matching my energy “ I just spend $154 on a bouquet that was a last second rush pick because I had to make this trip count. This place is reselling flowers from the flower district. Next time . I’ll just go there with photos and have someone make the same thing at less of a premium , less confusion and way less sass.
