Fantastic experience: My husband and I just celebrated our 39th wedding Anniversary. We were mostly snowed and iced in so couldn't make any special plans. Coleman's to the rescue. The long-stemmed very large red roses are the prettiest I've seen, and the wonderful fruit basket is a treasure of wonderful and varied fresh fruit. We were blown away. Delivery was made to our front door through snow and ice. Thank you so much Coleman's, you're the best.

Fantastic experience: My daughter ordered me flowers for my birthday, and they were gorgeous as usual!!!! I happened to be sitting outside when the delivery driver, Jack, pulled up. He immediately said Happy Birthday and when he brought me my flowers, he said that they were from Coleman Brothers Flowers and the message is inside the card. I said I know because I have been using Coleman Brothers since 1985! He said that's 40 years, I said I know. He gave me his ink pen. I went inside to put my flowers on the counter and looked back outside and Jack was pulling my trash can back up to my house from the street! What an amazing person!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic experience: Our dear friend passed unexpectedly and we asked for a 'Rainbow Trout' to honor his love if fishing. All of us ( 4 couples) were totally amazed at the incredible job they did, it was amazing and brought a smile to his family. We can't say enough how Coleman far exceeded our expectations!

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with Coleman Brothers Flower in Henrico. I placed an order for my wife’s birthday, requesting delivery on December 21st between 10 AM and 12 PM. However, on December 20th, I received an email stating the order had been shipped, but nothing arrived on the 21st. I waited the entire day, and when I called them on Monday, December 22nd, I was told the order was canceled and refunded. Interestingly, as I was speaking with the manager on the phone, I received the refund email. However, the refund never appeared in my bank account, and they falsely claimed to have left me a voicemail, which I never received. The staff was unprofessional and unaccountable, and my wife never received her birthday gift. Overall, it was an extremely frustrating and awkward situation. I cannot recommend them.

Negative experience: Sent a sympathy plant today to a company I worked with who had an employee pass two days ago. Plant was great, delivery man SUCKS. He clearly did not read the delivery instructions, then called me and caught an attitude right when I picked up and kept interrupting me as I was trying to explain where to go (the doors are literally labeled, shocker). He finally found the office and was arguing with the staff, who again had JUST lost their very close coworker not 48 hours ago and are actively going through a crisis, while on the phone with me while I kept saying “just give it to the woman in the office, just give it to her” and he could not grasp that he had actually found the clearly labeled office. Another minute of back and forth and they got my flowers. The man also did not understand who the flowers were for, and they did NOT get the card that I PAID MONEY FOR, so soon after I got a ton of calls asking if I was in town, 3000 miles from where I live because there were flowers with my name on them ? I triple checked my receipt and it clearly says my name as the sender and the company’s staff as the recipient. What the actual heck. Maybe everyone at this company never learned how to read. Maybe they can’t even read this and never will. Maybe they will have Google read it aloud to them. I probably will never know, but I do know for sure that I will absolutely not be ordering from this place again.

Negative experience: Absolutely unacceptable experience. We ordered our wedding flowers months ago and scheduled pickup for today between 9–10 AM. When we arrived, no one was at the shop. No staff, no note, no call—nothing. We called repeatedly and got no answer. We even drove around to multiple locations trying to find someone. Eventually, hours later, we got a response after someone saw my message on Instagram and were told to come back at 2:30. When we did, the flowers were not only completely wrong—they were droopy, were nothing like what we ordered, which is clearly detailed on our invoice. This entire experience felt like an afterthought. It was rushed, careless, and flat-out disrespectful—especially given that our wedding is out of town tomorrow. The communication has been terrible from the start, and we should’ve taken that as a red flag. We are requesting a full refund for the inconvenience and because what we received was not what we paid for. Do NOT trust this business with your wedding flowers.

Fantastic experience: We ordered flowers from Coleman Brothers for my son’s senior prom, and they absolutely nailed it! I told them the theme was a masquerade ball, the colors were black and gold, and that I would love to see some feathers included — and they took it from there. With just those few details, they created the perfect arrangement that matched the theme beautifully. The flowers turned out even better than we imagined. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend them for any special occasion!

See 2 pictures taken 12/01/24....... As of 12/15/24 I have not gotten any reply from anyone at Coleman Brothers about my disappoitment in this delivery.

Negative experience: Spent $120 on an arrangement that, when we visited the recipient two days after delivery and saw the bouquet, we were so disappointed that not only did it look almost nothing like the photo on the web site, but the roses were tiny and already wilted!!!! Have no clue what the other bouquet looked like that we sent to a friend in the hospital. I wouldn't recommend Coleman Brothers unless I saw and picked out the bouquet in person. Their judgement can't be trusted.

I had accidentally ordered a standing spray for a funeral in Chesterfield,VA from a florist in Chesterfield Michigan. I didn’t realize my mistake until the day of the funeral! I called frantic at 9am asking if it was possible to order a standing spray for a funeral at noon. The woman that answered was very kind. The delivery address was just out of their area but she said “don’t worry, we can deliver it for you”. She took her time with me and was so helpful. The spray was absolutely beautiful. They saved the day!

Negative experience: I had flowers ordered for a friend who was devastated by recent tragic circumstances. The florist guaranteed same day delivery service before 12:30pm this past Saturday. After accepting payment and completing the transaction, we were notified that the flowers would have to be delivered the following Monday. Of course, this was disappointing but even worse than the communication, was the floral arrangement that was delivered! There is nothing “premium” about this order that came with an up charge and delivery fees. I was horrified when my friend showed me pictures of the arrangement she received today. My saving grace is that she did not know what they were “supposed” to look like and was grateful to receive them although the entire experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I will attach photos for reference and never do business with this company again.

Fantastic experience: If you need silk flower arrangements this is the place to go. They specialize in cemetery arrangements. They can make them for you with your choice of flowers. I have no talent in choosing what goes with what. I take ones on display but I did chose a Christmas one that leaves could be added to to save on at least one season.

Negative experience: I'm extremely disappointed to feel I need to write this review. When ordering flowers from here, I was told that I was going to get a certain amount of specific flowers for my recipient. They told me they were not in stock, but they'd have them in time for the delivery date. Upon calling them to review and make sure that they did have the correct flowers. The young lady that I spoke to stated that she did not have them, and would not be able to send them instead she sent something else, and stated it as if it was not a question that they were just going to do it, regardless whether I wanted them to or not. Once I requested that they give me the flowers that I paid for and requested, they made an effort to finally find some. And told me that they would be able to meet the objective and amount of flowers that was ordered. When my recipient receive the flowers, I received multiple pictures showing the flowers, and there was nowhere near the enough flowers that I ordered. Upon calling the location to discuss it I was met with a lot of defensiveness, aggression and arguments from them, including one woman telling me to go, call the recipient and have her count the flowers. There was extremely little to none sympathy given toward my experience. As if I was bothering them, I would one recommend not to use this florist and refuse anybody else. Absolutely horrible customer service.

Fantastic experience: Erica at Coleman Brothers Flowers did a wonderful job for my wedding floral. Erica was willing to meet with us 14 months before my wedding (some vendors did not). She explained to me what would work with my vision and the budget. After meeting with Erica, I knew that I could trust her with my floral arrangements. She listened, communicated and very responsive to emails. I love my bouquets and most of it all, my centerpieces were gorgeous. She made sure (early Apr) that peonies were in my bouquet as requested. Peonies are usually bloomed in May-June. The floral arrangement lasts throughout my wedding, for 12 hours and even more (2 weeks later). Totally and highly recommend Erica at Coleman Brothers Flowers.

Negative experience: Only giving two stars because they did attempt to fix the issue. I recommend going in and talking with a designer when ordering for a funeral. I asked if I should come in and was ASSURED I did not need to since I knew exactly what I wanted for my moms funeral. My mom had requested (she was in hospice so we chatted about it) a large floral arrangement on her casket. She wanted pastel colors, roses, hydrangeas, no bright colors and I told them absolutely NO sunflowers…only use flowers that would be for a classy wedding with pastel theme. I had told the girl there was no budget. She assured me that she understood what I wanted and it was left at that. The night of moms visitation I walk into the room before friends and family arrive and what do I see?! A spread on the casket full of BRIGHT colors, sunflower looking flowers…bright yellow and blue all over the place. Looked like something that should be in a red barn for a fall wedding. I was crushed…I know it’s first world problems but it was my moms one request of me. They did call…they read me the instructions they had and the manager could say nothing except that they would go back and fix it. He did not know what happens. Well…they next day of the funeral the arrangement looked “better” but still not what my mother or I wanted. I will never use this company again. It’s beyond disappointing and I don’t even have the energy to call and get any kind of credit because I’m emotionally spent. Please get them to send you a picture BEFORE they deliver something important like this. I trusted their name but I should not have.
