Dave and family are kind and generous. They have a sweet Peter Rabbit garden and we took our kindergarten class there years ago and got a special tour of the greenhouse.

Fantastic experience: Events by Ludemas did the flowers for my wedding and they were absolutely perfect. Flowers aren't really my thing so I didn't have a good idea of what I wanted. We had a phone meeting with them and they got an idea of what colors we were using for the wedding and the vibe we were looking for and they took it from there. What they came up with was incredible. I told my now husband that it was like they knew exactly what I wanted even though I didn't know what I wanted. We got so many compliments on the flowers. They truly did an amazing job.

Fantastic experience: This floral and gardens is my absolute fav in the area! They do custom bouquets, bouquets and catering for events and weddings, they have HUGE selections of literally everything you need from pots and vases, perennials, annuals, vegetables fruits and herb plants, literally anything you need and at amazing prices. When everyone else is sold out this place will usually still have it in stock! Like today, it’s June which is getting a little late for some plants and most places are sold out but they still have great selection of strawberries and other vegetables plants to start my garden for the year!

The floral arrangement they put together for the service was simply perfect - the colors, the arrangement of the blooms, everything was so beautifully done. But what really blew me away was the care they took with the delivery and setup. The arrangement arrived in flawless condition, and they took the time to carefully place it just so. But the team at Ludema's went above and beyond by handwriting the personal note I had included right onto the arrangement itself. You can't imagine what a wonderful, thoughtful touch that was. It made the whole arrangement so much more meaningful and special. Out of all the floral arrangements that were at the service, this one from Ludema's really stood out head and shoulders above the rest - and that handwritten note was a huge part of why. They were one of the few in the area that had them at the time, and the only one that would deliver them to where I needed! The bouquet was beautiful, and the service was excellent as they helped me create that experience her.

Fantastic experience: Obsessed is such an understatement when it comes to the floral arrangements that Allison and the Ludemas team created for my wedding! I changed my mind multiple times throughout the planning process, and they always ran with the punches and made the necessary adjustments to help my vision come to life. I requested vibrant fall colors and ikebana-style arrangements with height and movement, and wow… they did not disappoint. The arrangements they created just absolutely blew my vision out of the water, and I wish I could have kept my flowers forever because they were everything!!

The bridesmaids flowers and flowers around the service filled the air with elegance that our guests complimented effusively. They came promptly after to strike and get the sanctuary ready for mass later. The Ludema’s team was extremely organized and even gave us a lovely thank you candle that we really appreciated. The reception was gorgeous as well. Everyone loved the flowers and it matched my bride and I’s image for our wedding perfectly.

Fantastic experience: The staff is always warm, welcoming, and helpful. I needed assistance with getting rid of aphids eating my rose bushes and the lady took her time to help me get the best product to deal with them. I also needed recommendations for a sunny spot in my yard and a different staff person took time to not only make recommendations but helped me pick out some plants. I’ve never had bad service from any of their staff and their selection of flowers is always amazing.

Negative experience: I purchased a voucher for $25 from a fund raiser. It apparently had a 2 week expiration date, that I didn't realize until the day it expires. I asked if they could extend it but they wouldn't. Why would you put an expiration date on a voucher that I paid money for? At least give it a season!!! Now I am out that money and no flowers!

Fantastic experience: Ludemas did the flowers for my son’s wedding last weekend (5/20/23) They were gorgeous!!! The ladies that brought them to the venue were very professional and courteous. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this florist if you need flowers for any occasion!!!

Fantastic experience: Our wedding flowers were above and beyond what we expected. We couldn’t have been happier with the results. We sat down with Ludemas and they completely relaxed our nerves and gave us everything we wanted and more. I really wanted a flower arch and they got it done and within our budget. They drop of the flowers without any issues and also gave us a gift which included a cute candle which smells great.

Negative experience: Just left out of this store no one would help me customer service trash with African Americans , the employees on they phones, playing with pets ,etc worse experience walked out with nothing just gonna go to Meijer or try another flower shop

Fantastic experience: I found out about this floral shop because I delivered a doordash order to one of the employees when I was a dasher last year and was left a nice tip. Fast forward to now, I never had flowers delivered to someone before, but I decided to and choose this place because I support businesses that support me lol, and I'm glad I made this decision because my floral arrangement that I had delivered turned out beautiful! Would definitely recommend and will use in the future.

Positive experience: Due to rising prices, I checked a few different places and they were at least competitive with a better selection than others in my area. They used to say to wait until Memorial Day to plant your annuals. If you do that now, you will find nothing in the greenhouses.

Fantastic experience: Went to Ludema's today looking for some hanging baskets. I have been to quite a few places looking. I found at those other places, way too expensive for what you were getting or things that just looked terrible. I was pleasantly surprised at LUDEMA'S! The baskets are gorgeous and very reasonable. Fantastic experience: My uncle loved this place every year for his birthday we always got him a Fern he loved plants and flowers. I came here to look for tulips for my sister for mother's day and ended up getting her a fern and two tulips and another little flower that will grow annually. I understand why he loved it so much. I've been missing him so much lately and when I walked in this girl named Addie (sp) helped us pick out tulips and I told her that my uncle loved this place and started crying like an idiot. I felt bad for crying. She was so helpful and sympathetic. I love her soul. She said they had ferns in the way back and suggested I get my sister one. I forgot about them until I thought about my uncle and forgot she loved them too. This place is amazing the people and the prices are amazing.

Fantastic experience: Went there to find plants for Sunday School kids to give their moms. Found small plants for $1 a piece so it was great. Thanks so much. Excited to see the kids faces on Sunday.

Fantastic experience: I sent flowers to my sister in Grand Rapids from Ludington. I’m always a little nervous about sending flowers! The lady delivery driver took the time to leave a message to my sister telling her they were left around the house at the back door so they wouldn’t be disturbed. Thank you!!!!

Fantastic experience: Top notch customer service. We live out of state and wanted to order something for a memorial service in GR. Ludemas was highly recommended by a relative in GR, and they did not disappoint. The rep I talked to on the phone was courteous and efficient. It didn't take long and everything was taken care of. My only regret is that I didn't catch the rep's name to give her proper credit for assistance.

I was spending the day in Grand Rapids and it was really great to have a florist that offered more than just the uninspired boring selection that the florists have where I live. The lady was really knowledgeable and helpful in creating a unique bouquet and not once did she suggest carnations that seems to be the only flower available in Stevensville

Fantastic experience: Ludemas supplies our church with the most gorgeous red and white 6 inch potted poinsettias for Christmas, with gold foil. It adds beauty to our Christmas season!! They deliver as scheduled, and give us a 30 minute courtesy call before arriving. Highly recommend!! A+++

Fantastic experience: Ludema's did the flowers for our September wedding! Allison was great with having to postpone due to COVID. We had my bouquet, 8 bridesmaids, 12 boutonnieres, 4 corsages and also rented decor pieces from them. Great about working within our budget but still being able to have the style we wanted. Would definitely recommend for your wedding!

Change to 5 stars!!! I'm currently in the maternity ward for a long stay at Butterworth. My dad had some flowers sent to me from Ludemas on Monday. Today is Thursday and they are most dead already. I've had fresh flowers from Aldis last way longer. Disappointing to not be able to enjoy my flowers longer while I am here

Fantastic experience: Ludema's Floral and Garden is a floral and garden shop with a greenhouse in the back! I could not BELIEVE how ADORABLE this place was!! Everything about Ludema’s is SO aesthetic and SO cute!! They are located off of 28th St on Eastern Ave! You will be overwhelmed (in a good way!) at all that they have to offer! They have everything from house plants to herbs to succulents to flowers to cute pots and MORE!! Ludema’s is simply a dream!

While I didn't realize that flowers couldn't be delivered to the ICU, they put my order on hold and said that they would call the hospital each day to see if she had been transferred to a room outside of the ICU. When she moved out of the ICU, they delivered the flowers the same day! I HIGHLY recommend Ludemas Floral & Garden!!!
