Claire Waldbart Kramer was my florist and Her work exceeded my wildest expectations. Working from our mood board and Pinterest, Claire completely captured exactly the design we were looking for. Too many guests to count commented on how gorgeous the flowers were. She decorated both the outside of the venue as well as the inside and the whole look was spectacular. She was also respectful of our budget and was able to execute the design at a reasonable cost. I can’t recommend Waldbart florist enough and I would give them more than five stars if that was possible.

Fantastic experience: Alex Waldbart’s Clare took my order four days before our home wedding. We made the arrangements by phone, text message and using photos. Clare put the most beautiful white and pale pink peonies with white and pink roses together for stunning bouquets, boutonnières and wrist corsages. Additionally, Clare put together our dinner table arrangement using a large bowl provided by me. She also did numerous vase flower arrangements for placement throughout our home for this momentous occasion. Alex Waldbart’s florals are the best you’ll find in STL. Negative experience: Chose this florist based on good reviews. Ordered two bouquets well in advance for our daughter’s college college graduation. Discussed with the florist that we wanted different bouquets for two events for the same person, and that it was important that the flowers not be ones that were poisonous to cats, and named several flowers I knew to avoid. All sounded good, I was promised two beautiful bouquets, and agreed to pay $150. Went to pick them up today on arrival in town, and both bouquets were identical, but more importantly filled with lilies and carnations, two extremely toxic-to-cats flowers I’d specifically asked to avoid. I gave them time to rework the bouquets, and arrived to pick them up. They’re fine - still pretty much identical and not as full as they were initially, but fine. I asked [a different staff member was there this time] if they could wrap the bottom of the stems as they had been originally to protect them until I could get them in water. I was told I’d have to pay additional for that. Just not a great experience overall. I expected that notes were taken during my initial call that would translate to whom ever assembled the bouquets, and I also would have expected a little special care after the mistake. I could have done as well at a good supermarket for a lot less, and gotten a plastic sheet for the bouquet there for free.

Lucky me I talked with Jan who was extremely pleasant and very, very nice. Jan was happy to take the order and ensured me the arrangement would be delivered that day. The arrangement was delivered as promised and very, very beautiful! They’re arrangements are always unique.

Fantastic experience: We used Waldbart for our wedding ceremony and the flowers were absolutely gorgeous. We got so many compliments and the photos turned out beautifully. They were exactly what I had asked for. I had trouble figuring out what I wanted for the boutonnières but Claire’s suggestion was better than anything I would have come up with. We took several of the bouquets home and they still smell and look beautiful. Could not have asked for a better florist!
