Fantastic experience: Gorgeous bouquet and smells fantastic!!!

Negative experience: A friend ordered a bouquet of flowers, balloons and a box of chocolate. I only received the flowers and it was not what my friend ordered and paid for. The shop delivered a skinny vase with two roses and two lillies, which doesn’t make a bouquet. This is the second time I receive flowers from this shop that doesn’t correspond to the order placed. I will let the rest of my friends not to order from Russell’s Flower Shop.

Fantastic experience: The flower delivery by Russell Florist was the first time I’ve received flowers from them. The delivery person was polite and professional, and confirmed that I was the intended recipient. The arrangement was beautiful, with a combination of open flowers and buds. And it lasted well over a week. I would definitely recommend using them in the future.

Negative experience: Literally didn’t deliver per instructions told me I could get a refund since my spouses flowers weren’t delivered then called me back told me they could send a replacement I am not happy they don’t follow instructions on holidays per the person I talked to over the phone. Now it’s like pulling teeth to even get them to replace anything expect one call no knock no doorbell ring if you order from them. Still haven’t received flowers 2 days later. W Ent to the store a nice young lady u didn’t catch her name but she got the arrangement made fast and was really nice thank you to her. Hive her a raise she was at the gravois location.

Negative experience: What I ordered vs. what was sent to the recipient.

Negative experience: Never ordered from here but we had some sort of uncovered flower cake shaped thing handed to us because our neighbor didn’t answer their door and the delivery person shoving it at us didn’t respond to phrases like “we haven’t met them” or “we’d really rather not take that.” We haven’t met our neighbors, don’t have their number, and aren’t even sure they live there full time. They aren’t home. As best we can tell it’s a refrigerated, two tier, uncovered cake we had to clean out the fridge to fit. Now we’re babysitting this orphaned cake (again, I assume it’s a cake because it’s cake shaped and I’m not going to go poking because I didn’t order it), just hoping the delivery person tells its rightful owner we have it. Whatever it is is pretty, but make sure you’re home I guess or it’ll be forced on the next closest person they can find against their will.

Negative experience: Made an order for someone for a specific time and instructions were not followed lack of care and competency from shop in time of bereavement don't order from here

A bouquet was delivered today for my ladies and it is just gorgeous! the young man who delivered today also had a kind message on his shirt "you matter"...because everyone's story at Christmastime is not always happy and bright. I would absolutely recommend for anything floral you need.

Negative experience: My dear friends ordered a bouquet of flowers for me to make sure I knew they were thinking of me as I had the tremendous loss of a family member while going through cancer treatment. They placed the order on Monday with expected delivery on Tuesday. It is now Saturday night. I watched my friend become extremely aggravated and angry that her and my other friend’s generous gift was not delivered on time and that she had to follow up numerous times. Although I greatly appreciate their act of kindness I am mortified to know the disregard for their feelings. Excuses were made numerous times only causes my friend additional aggravation! You should put more care into what you do as moments matter and your disregard to deliver what was important to a customer is inexcusable.

Fantastic experience: I received a beautiful arrangement for my birthday from my daughter and family in Maryland today. The flowers were so fresh and smelled heavenly. Wonderful surprise and now seeing the quality of this arrangement I will definitely be ordering my flowers from Russell Florist.

Positive experience: Please see update below. This is the flower arrangement Russell Florest delivered to my mother for Mother's Day 2 hours ago. I am very angry, disappointed, and disgusted with this florist. My mother just lost her husband and this business sends a dead wilted flower arrangement. Shame on you!!! FTD states a new arrangement will be delivered to her. They better be the freshest flowers and most beautiful arrangement that ever came out of this business. I will update this review if this is corrected. This florist did actually quickly and delivered a very fresh and colorful arrangement the next morning. It wasn't the arrangement I ordered, but it was colorful.

Negative experience: Awful experience. Flowers they sent me are literally dead and stems broken. When I called the woman said there was nothing they could do since I ordered them from “for you flowers” even though Russell florist provided the flowers. Terrible.

I placed my order the night before I requested them to be delivered. My friend received the flowers on her birthday in a timely manner and absolutely loved them! I was a bit nervous just because I was ordering from a different state but everything went smoothly. The arrangement was absolutely stunning!!!

My friend was getting married yesterday, and informed me 3/4 of the way to the venue (we were coming from O'Fallon) that she had forgotten her bouquet. Immediately googled florists near the botanical gardens and found Russell Florist. Filled them in on my situation and within the hour, they put together the most beautiful bouquet and saved the entire day. Negative experience: VERY VERY disappointing. I ordered a premium bouquet, and in return, I got an underwhelming arrangement. The arrangement barely had 6 or 8 roses, the price was well over $100/- and I had really wanted to delight the recipient. It sadly had the exact opposite effect.

Fantastic experience: It's has been very HOT lately and I place an order for flowers for a funeral. About dozen arrangements were there and looking tired. I know the other florist are good but I would like to say that the arrangement that I ordered was beautiful. Still fresh looking like just picked and arranged. Originally my order was to be delivered to someone's house, however I had to reroute the delivery to another location. Even though the flowers were delivered Rosie was willing to work with me and get the flowers where I needed them to go. These were very reasonably priced, and look fantastic. They are just exactly what I was wanting. They also honored my special request to exclude lilies, and delivery was FREE on Christmas Eve Sunday. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: Russell Florist provided our wedding flowers five years ago. They were attentive and helped us design a beautiful bouquet as I wanted to incorporate peacock feathers. The flowers were stunning. Exceptional service, amazing service, pristine floral arrangement. So why did it take me five years to write a 5 Star review? Well we had baby one and then baby two. Then the world shut down for 18 months and we got bored…and as a result ..We just welcomed Baby 3 this past summer. In honor of our 5 year anniversary and our thirds baptism, we called the florist and asked if they could make us corsages inspired from our wedding five years back. “Absolutely” Tia replied. She was phenomenal to work with on this sentimental small order request. We sent pictures of our bouquet as inspiration.The result was breathtaking. The corsages pulled us back to our special day, back in a day before hyper inflation, Covid and Eastern Europe conflict. I adore the stunning craftsman’s floral arrangement once again. You better believe we will be back and we won’t wait five years this time. Five stars all around.
