Experiencia negativa: I placed an order 2-3 weeks before my son’s 5th grade graduation 50 flowers for his entire class. They called numerous times to confirm order which was just carnations because for some reason they kept getting confused about the order. I received a call a week before my original scheduled date that the flowers were ready for pick up‍♀️ I told them no it’s next week. So this morning I go to pick up my order and my gut was right. They had no flowers ready for me. The manager found flowers and we put some together as fast as we could for the kids. I made the graduation 5 min before it started which also made it impossible to get my son a graduation present. I would have thought a refund of some sort would have been offered. So not only was this very important order not fulfilled it was also not corrected. I will never shop for flowers here again especially for an important occasion.

Experiencia negativa: I was supposed to receive flowers on 2/14/2025 to my workplace. I was at my office the entire time, asked my partner for updates and left work, at my usual time, with the order showing as pending. Upon arriving home, I asked for an update on the order which showed it was delivered at 4:32 PM, well before I left my office. I called Duke City and talked to the owner who advised me that the order was marked as delivered and confirmed the address. I was unable to check my office for the order as it had already closed for the weekend and set the expectation with the owner that I would check at my office and call back on Monday. I did check with the front desk and they confirmed that flowers had not been received on my behalf at any point during the day on 2/14/2025. I tried calling Duke City Floral on 2/17/2025 at 8:21 AM, 10:24 AM, 12:05 PM, 12:57 PM, 2:53 PM, and finally 3:44 PM. I understand the last one was after business hours BUT the owner advised me I could call after business hours as the calls went directly to his cell phone. Unfortunately, based on the amount spent, I am unable to have patience. A call back would be appreciated. Edit to add: I have talked to the security guard who confirmed nothing was received as well as checked the camera footage for the potential delivery. Edit as of 5/15: I still have yet to hear from Duke City Floral although my partner was able to request a refund through his bank. The initial conversation was so positive and left me feeling hope for a resolution. Now 3 months later, I guess that feeling was not true.

I was calling you and yes You did say you were closed and out delivering flowers, you asked where I lived.. I told you what area, Assuming I would meet up with you since your shop was closed you NEVER ONCE said You were going back to the shop or to meet at the shop that was YOUR miscommunication there. AND you did hang up On me because I was still talking saying you never said to meet at the shop. But of course, as an owner, you need to make your response look good on reviews And not take responsibility for your rudeness.

The morning of the delivery I realized she was not working that day and called to try and change the delivery address. Not only did they get the delivery address changed to the other side of town they had them delivered within just a couple hours after the change. Huge thanks to Brian for helping me out where they didn't have to.

Experiencia negativa: I used duke city floral for my wedding. And they completely ruined every single floral piece that was ordered. They get a one star because originally very helpful in working within my budget. Had an in person consultation with Jen in April, had multiple follow up emails and text messages with Brian at Duke City and Jen from April to September. I even sent Jen my swatches to ensure the colors matched- or at least close to it. At my consultation Jen showed me the deepest red rose available and I agreed to that. I was very specific since April I wanted the deepest red roses for my bouquets with hints of white and blush pink. Duke city floral did the opposite of that. None of the flowers were pink, the majority of them were white and the red roses were bright cherry red. I emailed Brian asking for a partial refund since the ENTIRE order (6 bouquets, 11 boutonnières, 2 wrist corsages and 3 flower girl petals) were wrong because the wrong rose color was used. I ordered a special groom’s boutonnière- didn’t get it. None of the pins provided worked. Brian refused to acknowledge their mess up and instead tried to gaslight me and said he used the exact colors I picked and were approved and that nothing was wrong with them. I sent him proof (invoice, emails, texts, photos) how the flowers were supposed to be and how they actually turned out. Brian still has yet to acknowledge that he messed up the order entirely and has refused to give me anything other than 25% store credit. Such a crappy company I had high hopes for. Will never use them or recommend them at any point ever.

The next day I got an email from that florist stating they could not make any floral arrangements as they had NOT received their supplies. I was like WTH! Anyway, I went online immediately and found Duke City Floral and called them in a panic. Michelle answered the phone and I explained to her what happened. I had spent so much time on the phone with the other store and was pressed for time on Thursday. Michelle listened intently to me understanding my situation. I appreciated that the clerk emailed me an invoice so that I could see exactly what was going to be ordered and charged. After I agreed, he charged my credit card. The plant was delivered to the community center a day ahead of the morning service, and the driver worked around the office staff's schedule to make sure that it was received and not left on a porch overnight. I wanted to surprise my daughter at work for her birthday with some flowers, I ask the owner to make sure my name didn’t show at all because I wanted to be a surprise. Well they decide to call my daughter to ask her if she was at work because she had some flowers delivered from me!!! Not only that, but also when they delivered the flowers they arrive with no water and the card was wet that she couldn’t even read what I wrote!!! I talk to the person that they recommended me that place and they told me that they have done the same thing to them….unacceptable, unprofessional, next time I get flowers somewhere else…

Experiencia fantástica: I received a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from my husband Tuesday from Duke City Floral. It is the most beautiful arrangement I have ever seen in my life. All of my roses had bling in the center of each one. I'm going to attach a photo. On Mothers Day I received a bouquet from them as well and it was gorgeous. They always add something unique. My flowers from my kids were in a red heart shaped vase. We live up by the owner and I happened to see his truck outside and wrote down the number to the shop. It was the best thing I've done when it comes to flowers. I've seen some beautiful arrangements but nothing compares to Duke City. We will be customers for life. I send flowers as well and will only be using Duke City. I would definitely recommend them because I can guarantee you won't have to worry. I screwed up the address when ordering and was in a panic when the flowers were delivered to the wrong address ( my bad, not Duke City Floral) they made sure she got the flowers ASAP and she was so touched and really felt our LOVE during this really rough time. I don’t live in the same state and I wanted to send a special arrangement since I wouldn’t be there in person. I called Duke city floral and spoke to Brian. I expressed my sadness of not being able to be there in person and how important it was to send some thing spectacular. I gave him my budget and he worked with me to send the most beautiful arrangement I have ever seen! My Gram absolutely loved the flowers!
