I was trying to order a gift basket with flowers for my mother in law who had just moved house and I was finding it difficult as she is in Townsville and I am in NZ. I also have this thing about supporting local, so the shop/gift basket needed to come from a local shop, and apart from that I am particular and hate relying on others to do things for me. Anyway, I couldn't find exactly what I wanted online, so I ended up calling Malpara florist and asked them if they could put the little something together for me. They were more than happy too, so friendly, helpful and considerate and even got delivery out for that day. Mother in law was very happy, we didn't get any photos unfortunately as we video called, but I saw the gift box and it was stunning. Cannot thank you enough for making this such an easy process for me. Definitely would recommend to others, and use again. Thank you so much .

Negative experience: Photos on website do not represent reality, and you will receive fraction of the flowers. Basically they sent 2 flower stems and the remainder are random stems and it was a significant $ value order. I ordered a pastel bunch and they sent bright yellow and orange. They also delivered on the wrong date! They called up the recipient post my complaint instead of me to sort it out which is unprofessional and incredibly embarrassing. Very disappointing.

Anna and the team at Malpara organised and provided the florals for our wedding and we are forever in their debt with how incredible everything was. With only 3 months notice of our wedding, the effort, attention to detail and professionalism Anna provided was nothing short of amazing. We requested a large floral arbour and Malpara did not disappoint. This was our statement at our wedding and it truly delivered. Anna and the team arrived at the venue with plenty of time to hang the arbour from the ceiling and deliver the bouquets, buttonholes and posy jars. The entire process from start to finish was stress free and we could not have picked a better business to provide such an important aspect of our wedding. Negative experience: We ordered a BLUE and white arrangement to be delivered to our daughter in hospital who had given birth to our first GRANDSON - you delivered a PINK and white bouquet with a PINK teddy - absolutely worst service ever! How do you get it that wrong!

Negative experience: I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to a loved one, from interstate. I sourced several florists in the area and chose Malpara. I completely understand the photos advertised are an average depiction of what the order will look like. But for a $75 arrangement + $20 delivery, I was far from impressed. I sent an email with photos the same evening explaining my upset & the response was friendly however explaining I got my moneys worth. Some of the flowers were old, the rest were cheap filler flowers and the presentation poor even without feature bow. Nothing about the arrangement resembled the demo online. Lesson learnt.

Negative experience: Today you delivered what was supposed to be a very special bunch of flowers to my wife What you advertise on your website and what you delivered where two very different things Maybe you should have pictures of what’s on your website stuck up on the wall where they prepare the flowers so they know what the flowers they are sending out should look like Yes I know things are seasonal, but if that’s the case then tell the customer before he buys them I thought I bought a beautiful bunch of Lillie’s. But what I got looked like a bunch of ferns and Australian bush leaves You look at both photos and honestly tell me I got what I paid for that was advertised on your site, not even close First photo is what you advertise, second is what I got I am not saying the flowers were dead or wilted but I am saying if you want flowers from Malpara go buy them from the shop so you know what your getting, don’t buy over the phone or online Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: Went on Mothersday to purchase flowers (online said it was closed) but driving past on our way to another florist we saw it was open so we quickly did a U-turn. Such an amazing choice of bouquets and the ladies were such a pleasure to deal with. They were not cheap but definitely worth the money because of such great customer service and good quality flowers. Thank you ladies!

Negative experience: Dear all, Here driver decides whether it is safe to leave the order or not even though client requested to leave the order at the door front. Poor excuse for not doing the job. I am not totally satisfied with today's delivery. Driver cannot decide the location status when client requested the delivery location.

Negative experience: Update your opening hours online!! I ordered flowers for my mother’s birthday, and when they couldn’t be delivered on Saturday, I assumed I’d be able to pick them up on Sunday because both Google and Malpara’s website say that they’re open on Sunday. Now because of the public holiday, the flowers are three days late and I never got so much as a ‘sorry for the inconvenience’. Very disappointed as this has always been my go-to florist.

Negative experience: Ordered online as i’ve usually had good experiences every time. This time around maybe because of valentines day, they delivered them to the wrong address and then wanted me to pick them after paying freight. They coerced me into having them delivered to my wife’s work the following day and added chocolates as a bonus. And then they delivered them to the wrong address again, I am not sure I will go with malpara in the future, waste of money and massive headache.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 would recommend Malpara florist for flower delivery service. Flowers were beautiful exactly what I wanted and arrived on the designated time allocated great company !

Negative experience: A disappointment. The bouquet of peonies I received were all forced open, you could tell as the petals were bent backwards, so they were doomed to survive and presently lasted one day. A delay in receiving them which can't be helped sometimes, understable. But when my husband called worried I wasn't going to get them in time after spending $200+ dollars and the bouquet being left over the weekend he was hung up on. Instead of assurance or genuine human sympathy they just simply hung up as they just did not want to deal with it. Lucky reception was still open but I just can't get over hanging up on someone. Customer service abysmal, $200 bouquet disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Malpara florist was literally amazing from the customer service down-right to the flowers, my sister had turned 20 today but she lives in Townsville and i Brisbane so i ordered her a bouquet of roses a bottle of Jack Daniels with a balloon and some more wine and nibbles. It was delivered per the time I requested and was just in awe at how quick and efficient this business operates. I did have a bit of mix up with the liquor however Anne was so lovely and fixed me right up.

Positive experience: Flowers for thank you is a place where you get $40 - 120 range price.

Negative experience: Unfortunately ordered a bouquet for $70, saw the flowers inside the store which looked great so decided to order a bouquet and regretted it immediately. The bouquet consisted of just daisies and pink carnations and half of the daisies were damaged, it looked like flowers you could purchase from Woolworths. Very disappointed

From the Wedding Arbor design and all the flowers, candles etc for the venue - it was beyond stunning and received so many compliments during the night. Anna understood the concept of the look I wanted to create for this event and executed it perfectly. So lucky to have the talent of a florist such as Malpara, here in Townsville.

Positive experience: Was easy to order over phone, as I’m in Sydney. Friendly helpful service. Very clear on what was available in comparison to their website. Unfortunately the small flower vases weren’t available so had to go with a little more expensive type. But happy and would recommend.

Negative experience: Not happy! Organised an arrangement for a funeral as I could not get to Townsville I asked for a photo and was told they would send me one as the flowers will be ready the night before. I rang on the day to ask why I didnt get a photo and there was no appology "confirmed by my daughter who was listening to the conversation" Maria got very deffensive saying it wasn't her fault and there was nothing she could do. a sincere apology would have been nice.

Negative experience: Florist is unbelievably rude. How dare a customer want to spend money in your store, how inconvenient. Once could be a bad day, twice, unacceptable. Never be back!

Negative experience: My friend Maddie and I ordered flowers online today for a friend who recently got engaged. We are in Victoria so we wanted to do something nice. Upon looking at the arragements online we thought they looked amazing. However when seeing what she recieved, we are disapointed. And disappointed is an understatement. Our friend sent us a photo of the $100 bouquet she recieved. It was VERY underwhelming and looked like something you could buy from coles. We are extrememly upset and feel like they charged us and didnt uphold the standard of the website at all! Dont waste your money!

I thought the next day would have been reasonable considering the time of order but you made it happen today.
