The lady was also very helpful on the phone after receiving the order asking if we had a favourite color, etc.. Couldn't be better. Very highly recommended!

Negative experience: This florist supplies orders taken through Cairns Flower Delivery. Will not supply the order based on what the consumer orders online as what is delivered looks nothing like what they order - and when the customer complains they will deflect the complaint back to the fact that they fill orders from a third party website and dont get paid enough to supply what the customer ordered and paid for. WELL - This is not the consumers problem or concern. If you cant fill the order because you don't get paid enough from the third party - don't accept the order and supply something worth half the price that the customer paid. $160 paid for a bunch of flowers in a glass vase Supplied a wooden box with an arrangement that looks nothing like what was orderred. Terrible customer service and would never order anything again from these people

I phoned around many florists in Cairns, & Ginger and Petals were the only ones that knew what Floral Art was, (not just a bunch, bouquet or decoration) and sourced locally. My late stepmother was a Floral Artist for decades (Cruise ships, themed art, Weddings, World Floral Art Convention Glasgow 2002, Floriade (Holland), UK Chelsea Flower Show) & as a child I learnt how much time, effort & expertise was required. With 36 hours notice before her funeral, Rhiannon must have spent HOURS to create a masterpiece worthy of her. (Which all attending agreed was PERFECT; exactly what she would have loved.) Unfortunately my IT skills & software do not enable me to upload photos. But please post any photos you have - it included every genus & species she loved to work with. THANK YOU for such an important occasion.

Fantastic experience: After having purchased flowers from a different company online which let us down with flowers nothing like we ordered, Ginger and Petals Florist assisted us in an emergency (when other florists were closed) and helped put together a beautiful arrangement at extremely short notice. I had a problem with my friend moving places and lucky enough the second lot of flowers I sent for a birthday gift Rhiannon (I believe her name was) called to notify the first lot hadn't been taken inside. Took both lots of my flowers back to the shop so I could get friends new address. They had helped me so much with being patient and kind with the stuff around. Truly would recommend them again and again to everyone

Negative experience: I placed an order for my girlfriend on valentine day, I live abroad and wanted to surprise my girlfriend in Cairns. Not only the flowers weren't delivered on the 14, and I wasn't notified, the flowers have not been delivered even the day after (today) and they are not picking up. Disrespectful. I am going to have to contact consumer support and share my disappointment with others. I am away in a different continent and couldn't get my partner a valentine gift because of you. Shame.

Negative experience: ⚠️CAUTION⚠️ My boyfriend ordered a Valentine's Day gift for me. I would only be home in the morning, and he paid an additional $15 to get the deliver in the morning. However, the day before, I came home from work at 11pm and found a gift already in front of my door in the dark. They left the gift in front of the house in the middle of the night the day before Valentine's Day, even though he had paid an additional fee and specified a date and time. The next day he went to the shop and complained, but she said, "We have received over 500 orders. It is impossible to distribute them all on the same day. There is no problem in delivering them before the specified time." In the hot weather of Cairns, the gifts were packed with chocolates. You can predict what will happen if you leave it outside for more than 12 hours. Fortunately, I found the gift the day before, but his surprise was a failure, and he became the strange guy who had given me the gift the day before. If that's the case, shouldn't I be asked to specify the date and time, and shouldn't I be made to pay an additional $15? Isn't it fraud if you pay money to specify but you can't abide by it? And Of course they don't refund. Even they are made $7,500 due to unpromised delivery.I think they should just refund the extra $15. But we never use this shop again (a house not shop). And I checked at the worst review before writing this review and the response to it was unprofessional.

Rhiannon put together this beautiful arrangement with extra gifts last minute and delivered on the day! The colour theme is perfect as my girlfriend's party theme is "love". Loved all the extra touches from gift-wrapping the amazing candle, the rose on the bubbles and the follow up text! My girlfriend loved them and they brightened her big day. Flowers are always nice but these were really lovely, the black box the green embossed paper and the arrangement( just beautiful ) 5 days and they are almost done. A long time in Cairns heat. Negative experience: Disgusting unprofessional. Obviously can’t take review or tell a difference between personal and feedback. I will not go back and tell others about this. What a way to respond to feedback with personal attack. Such disgrace. I would fight at personal level, but I am not that low. I am very disappointed with this arrangement. After 40 mins wait, I paid for it anyway, I did not like it and so did my mum. I end up paying for 2 , one for the ugly one and another bouquet that was made up which was better arranged because I knew Mum would hate it the one before. Most people won’t pay for a bouquet they hate. I design? She is the bloody florist! A bad tools man blame his tools!

Fantastic experience: Ordered flowers for a hospital visit around midday and I was texted saying they were ready at 3pm, they also sent photos of the arrangement. Had a little mix up with one of the items during delivery, but Mary-Anne was happy to upgrade me for the inconvenience. Mum was happy and that's the main thing. Negative experience: Terrible experience with Mother’s Day flowers which I wanted to be beautiful and bright and what I got for $150 plus delivery and chocolates and a card made me cry as they arrived at my beautiful Mum’s today with wilted dry greens that were used as filler and an arrangement that looked like it was thrown together by someone who didn’t care as they had already delivered the totally wrong arrangement that the other customer wouldn’t return. Never ever use this florist as they promise the world and let you down.

Negative experience: FLOWERS CAME HALF DEAD Mothers Day!!!!!!! If you’re going to send Mother’s Day flowers the least you can do is send any colour other than Blue and a Happy Mother’s Day Card not a Thank you card. The message on the card in your own writing is so messy with no effort to make it look nice shows how much your business lacks in presentation along with the flowers you sent. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU!!
